I kinda like the Ewok Attack set. It looks like more of a 'scene' set than a 'vehicle' set. I already have all the main characters from the battle of endor set (except Luke of course), and you can never have enough ewoks. 100th post by the way

Yeah, it's supposed to be pretty sleek, but i don't like all the studs, and I don't think this will change in the final design, unless they tile the whole thing, which is unlikely.

Actually, those binoculars also appeared in the 10030 UCS Star destroyer (It came with 18 of them). Great review! If not saving up for the amazing 2011 sets, I would definitely buy this! Maybe for Christmas I'll get it.

I'm still pretty excited, because I missed out on all the MFs for some reason, but this one hopefully should at least have some new features. EDIT: $10 says the quad-laser cannons are flick fire missiles!

That would be too bad, since we'd get 2 Qui-Gons, and no Obi-Wan.

I'm pretty sure that's Obi-wan in the podrace set. We'll just have to wait for better pictures I guess.

Is there an online store that ships the new sets to Canada? TRU.com doesn't.

Has anyone seen the 2011 sets in Vancouver, Canada? I'm going there this weekend and I might pick some up if they are there. (My local TRU, Zellers, and Wal-mart and everything doesn't have them).

Wow! Great review, and thanks! I kinda really want to buy the set now. It definetely looks better than I thought it would. I agree with what you said, we already have great pics of the minifigures, so i'm not too bugged about that.

Nice! On the enlarged version of the pic, I noticed some nice transparent plates in the wings. Those are a nice touch. I'ts okay if you can't do a review. You won't be letting us down, since it's lucky someone even has the set this early. (but it would be greatly appreciated )

Welcome to Eurobricks! Which minifigs do you mean, all of them in general, or a particular set? The new Clone Troopers and Gungans stand out to me.

No pics of the summer wave yet, but according to Imperium der Steine (website), we should be seeing them before the end of the year. For the Millenium Falcon, I hope to get something different than 4504. Perhaps a 4-wide cockpit, which would be more accurate than the giant 6-wide one on 4504, and would seat only Han. I guess Chewie could just go play on his hologame. Another thing I'm hoping for is for the set to take more aspects of the construction of 10179, and to have more detail. (Right now, I'm building my 8098 Turbo Tank, and I'm surprised by the amount of detail on a system set).
