Excellent ships as always! And that tan brick profile (but using facing the opposite side) is surely great for ship building...! -

Great story, great angry face, great ship and that ...KaBLAM is surely turning into a BoBS meme...!!! -
Free ships! Free ships for everyone!!! Hilarious little MOC Dr Spock! May this one fare better than ALL your previous ones . A tribute to Neptune never hurts and it will definitely make an Oleander priest happy (and rich)...

The Empire of Oleon: Sign-up and Discussion
blackdeathgr replied to Sebeus I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Happy New Year Brandon and nice to have you back with us. A strong background story you have there. i like it. Regarding BoBS complexity, to (over)simplify it for you, it all boils down to: build land based buildings -> register them -> automatically earn money each month, build ships (if you like) -> register them -> let KB handle all the paperwork to earn you money per month but above all, build whatever inspires you at the moment (they still count as free builds like GoH). When you have grasped the absolutely basic rules, then if you like, you can start micromanaging your builds, i.e. build some specific types of buildings that generate more gold than others or build something our nation needs to levelup a settlement etc etc. Then the occasionally Challenges come and so on (but I believe you are already familiar with them at GoH). But for now I would insist that you start building whatever you like/had in your mind upon joining BoBS. Once again, Happy staying and once again, you chose the right faction to begin with! -
A very nice ship with awesome color choices indeed! May we see more pictures of the hull? I would like to steal study the design

Hmmm... The woman in black... so mysterious! I like it! On the build itself now, everything is really nice but if i had to choose, I would pick the criss-crossing paths, the boardwalk and the fountain wall. -

Nice one both regarding colors, rigging, oh, AND shape! I would heve never thought of using those colors in a ship until I saw here how well they blend in...

[OL] A view of Breshaun's bustling port
blackdeathgr replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks Elostirion! It does mean a lot. Initially I wanted to add interior as well to everything (or just place a plate or two behind) but then the MOC would exceed the limit of 32 studs width that I have free in my bookshelf Perhaps I will add interior at one of our LUG exhibitions and I can photograph it again. TY Garmadon! The cage was a ripoff of another MOC i found in Flickr. The tilting box at the crane was indeed done on purpose as I wanted to show a dynamic scene Yay! Thanks! Busy ports are the best! The bridge leads hopefully to my next relevant MOC that will be built in time... As fo the derelict house, I wanted to use some gray but not make it look like a castle era building. So I semi-demolished it and added a palm tree and foliage to burst from within. Elders will have to wait for the owner hasn't appeared just yet. Or maybe he appears at nighttime as the ghost of a sunken sailor? TY Cpt! Stay tuned until I find a bigger house -
The Oleon (ahem...) Royal Marines are wishing all of you, merry Xmas (better late than sorry) and above all, a Happy New Year!

blackdeathgr replied to blackdeathgr's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks! I always love to over-populate my MOCs if possible. They hide those small sloppy points you never have time to fix Also please TLG make those palm trees again! You will make many of us happy! -

Oh, adventurous traveler, let me guide you through this Breshaun's bustling port vista. From left to right: Small bridge, "North by Northwest" tavern, a local small house, a warehouse and a derelict house. center view right side view left side view Oh, is that true?? One of Captain Morgan's crew captured? With sufficient persuasion from the guys at the Admiralty may be we can learn his secret hideout!
