  1. In my experience this cabal of deserters will most likely be making connections with each other in secret as we speak! They'll be keen as mustard to find others with the same weak values to go about their dastardly plans. Without decision today, let us hope the night yields some insight into this terrible debacle. Certainly, I hope to follow up my own suspicions as soon as humanly possible.
  2. Hukang stood motionless before the window, leaning heavily on his cane. In contrast his shadow danced on the ceiling above him as it was lit by a myriad of neon lights from the world below. The Virtu-net existed all around him, shimmering gold. Streams of data and clusters of images surrounded the man, an orchestra of information being relayed from locations all around Terrel , the Earth, the offshore colonies. “...these upstarts will not get far. The Agent is already en-route. More will follow. ” “They won’t stand a chance.” nodded Hukang. “I thought you may have concerns in this matter, regarding your... delegate.” “My dedication to our goal is unshakeable. The problems I’d soon face otherwise would be unacceptable.” Hukang replied. “We can let nothing stand in our way this close to the fruition of the plan.” “Yes. Good... good. They are all our pawns Hukang...” the hoarse voice chuckled, “..A means to our ends! Another will be with you presently. We shall send them all. They will not fail.” “That, I am sure of.” “Soon Hukang. Soon...” smiled Borgiss, ending his transmission. + + + A floating sensation, a gentle descent. Gold melting away... reality trickling in. Hukang faced the bright lights on the other side of the glass. His eyes narrowed - a sudden presence at his side. “Ah... Shi.” he smiled. “A pleasure, Hukang...” chimed a girl’s voice, like the sound of tiny bells. Their shadows danced on the ceiling above them: the old Ching and the Oni Agent. + + + C.C. pondered over the events that had led him to this place, this time. “I believe that – “, he looked up and stopped short. The others spun around confused as to what had grabbed his attention. A figure clad in white stood with his back to the wall across a ways from them, arms folded. He didn’t look at them as he spoke. “Hi there.” he said nonchalantly. “Holy -” “It’s -” The group quickly reached for their weapons. Like a flash the figure was gone from the wall. C.C. felt the coolness of a blade touch the underside of his chin. He knew it was a vibro-blade, felt it resonating through his teeth. It wasn’t hard to guess who this was. He didn’t dare move. “Ah-ah-ah...” Agent Ichi addressed the others, “Lose the weapons or he loses his head.” Ichi was off to C.C.’s side, arm and blade held straight. The group glanced at each other and slowly responded. “Inserge...” Marcus called, seeing his weapon still aloft, sensing his animosity. “c’mon.” Inserge reluctantly responded. “You’ve been quite a distraction,” the tech-ninja twisted his blade forcing C.C. to raise his chin, “and interesting plans you’ve been making. You’re not likely to set foot into Solar-com any time soon with the entire building on high-alert. Even with stealth, sensors will trip everywhere.” C.C. glanced at him from the corners of his eyes. His shape seemed to fragment, shift and reform as he stood there. This was the Agent he’d been made aware of. C.C. was aware of the Oni and the part they would play in his future-history. He knew who this might be. “Start talking.” Ichi’s tone darkened. “I’m a traveller” said C.C. “a trouble-shooter you could say. Things are a mess here and I’m here to try and fix them.” “It seems the mess here is of your own making.” “You know what I mean, Ichi.” “We’re not quite at first names yet, nor will we be if you don’t start explaining yourself. Quickly.” “There is much evil afoot here, at the moment you are but a pawn. But you have a chance to change things. Change them for the better. I can’t explain Ichi. But I know your past is clouded...” “You presume to know of my past?” “I know where you can find one of many keys to unlocking it...”, said C.C. Is this how the course of future-history went? He thought. “...but you’ll find nothing if me or any of my colleagues here come to harm.” Ichi grit his teeth. He couldn’t ignore what this man was saying, if man was the right word: his visor displayed the most anomalous readings. It was apparent that he knew something though. He still had time to spare. “What’s your name?” “C.C.” “Okay C.C. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Take me to where you think I’ll find this information - and quickly. If you or the merry-men here try anything stupid you’ll find yourself very rapidly...” - he leaned close to his face - “out of time.” + + +
  3. Of course! Depending on how many sign-ups I get will dictate the nature of the tournament, whether a stage by stage knockout or league. I'll organise all this after the sign-ups. unitl then you can practice in the Dueling Thread.
  4. As the Captain has wisley detailed we must take action now. To tarry will result in the worst possible outcome! It's crushing to see that men's desperation has led to sacrifice in our ranks. But take stock! Be proud that there is such vigilance in your comrades, as I am. With such spirit this devilish pickle will unravel in due course. Indeed Private, it sickens me to the core. Those who speak of loyalty to family must first think of loyalty to our colours. For without loyalty to the latter then can never be the safety and comfort of the other? I understand your love of your family Private Entaine - as do we all. Let's not stray from our path though. We know why we are here and what's at stake! I recommend that you should be given special attention for counsel. Now, let us be eyes and ears; let us be the hand of justice! If you suspect anything or anyone, report in secrecy to the Captain and myself and know that you can do so in the utmost confidence. Vigilance, men. Vigilance!
  5. The 1st instance is correct. Sabre Flurry upgrades a High, Mid or Low action, doubling it's damage.
  6. Many thanks for the front-page Dragonator! nice to see more people joining in! Your rank will stay the same. i.e. If you've reached Jedi Master you'll stil be a Jedi Master. Sure! post your character including pic and bio in the Character Databank. The sign-ups will be open 'til the end of the month.
  7. Stand to, men! There seems to be much frivolity in the camp this morning - but a good morning it is not! Grim tidings these are indeed; that some of our own would seek to abandon this great army, those comrades they've fought side by side with, those who respect them, those who might call them brother. It's true that our recent conflicts have seen such terrible loses. But this is war! We cannot lose faith. We stand shoulder to shoulder fighting tooth and nail for our people, the families we've left at home. They all depend on all of us to continue the way of life we accept and love. To desert now is to cast all this aside in disdain and cower in the darkness - and by God that's unacceptable! We must rally togtether and find those who have become weak in their heads and in their bowels. Tarry not, be vigilant! Sickening as it is I sense a collaboration may be in the making... I’ll put my sword in the back of any man who’d leave this glorious army!
  8. Remember, if you can't find an online Adjudiactor and are happy to play a longer game, PM myself or JB and we can post your rounds whenever we're back online. Check my last post here for more information.
  9. Really nice review Starstreak, cheers for taking the time to do it for us! I have this set but it's still on my 'to build' list (along with the Tantive IV, AT-TE, Vader's TIE and Anakin's Starfighter!) but it looks like a fun build and it's a superb setting to add characters to: I've got many Rebel Pilots, Rebel Troopers and extra Mon Cal to populate it with. I really like the A-wing models we've seen so far and the one oncluded with this set is a nice improvement - what with the removeable engine and slightly more accurate hull shape. Thanks again.
  10. I've posted this in the discussion thread but thoguht it'd be worth posting here too: It seems it can be a bit hard getting sunchronised, or people heading offline shorlty after commiting to play. So, I suggest this: Decide who is dueling. Challenging, meeting a challenge or joint decision. Decide who you want to adjudicate: generally this can be me or anyone else who is happy to do it. Here's the difference: they DON'T have to be online when you send the Duel Sequence. PM your first round's DS to the Adjuducator. Make it clear which character your playing and against who. As soon as they're back online, they'll get the PMs, post 'em and the duel can move to the next round. If the Adjudicator wants, they can PM both players to let them know their scores have been posted. Better still, players should... Check back to see if how well their character is dueling and if they need to send their DS for the next round. This way, several games can be played at any one time. Simples! It makes for a slower game but I don't think that matters. From here on in send your PM's to me. Alternately If you want to volunteer to adjudicate in this type of way, post below and players can post their DS to whoever they choose.

  12. Looks fantastic! You're work on the interior is really, really nice. Great level of detail. Light add that bit extra to the model too. Be great to see where you take it from this.
  13. Aye, that's my problem with many of these new releases. In fact I prefer the gun turrets on the original (I additionally modified one of them) and the new tank seems to have the same problem as the old with a huge amount of air between the axles lending itself to being a bit fragile. The minifig selection is 1st class though... Wampa Cave looks alright but it seems to have been bulked out substantially to hit a higher price point... want that Wampa though!

    It's a trap!

Classic! An inspired yet so simple creation!
  15. Well if you're both ready, send your 1st round DS to me! EDIT: Getting late here now - going to take in a movie with my wife. Hope you find someone else!
  16. I'll adjudicate if you find an opponent...
  17. Patience! There's 12 entrants so far; with this current number it means the tournament will take the format of a league (I've updated the first post with details). I'm happy enough to do that but I'd like to give more time for people to play Jedi Duel and enter. That'd also give more people on at any one time able to play and adjudicate. In the meantime you can still play the regular game.
  18. I'll take that under advisement, private! Whatever pleasantries you address each other by is fine by me, but when I call it on the field be sure to advance!
  19. Lieutenant Pedro Pellsan present; proud to be serving the 42nd! And may I say what a fine cast of soldiers I'll have fighting by my side. With God's help and a just hand we'll rid this glorious army of those who would desert us! Sally forth men!
  20. I will be adjudicating but anyone else can as per normal. I will be keeping track of who's dueling or dueled who and updatein the tournament table. And that's right, if you're sigining up for Jedi Duel for the first time, you have to play the game to gain rank! Read over the rules so you have a good understanding.
  21. Cheers JB. I've edited the first post with some helpful links. I'll make sure they're on the other Jedi Duel threads too.
  22. There's been a lot of chatter here about the continuation of the LEGO license being dependant on the Sands of Time movie. But be aware that the Prince of Persia license isn't just a movie but a highly popular games license which has seen 7 games across a variety of formats with an 8th in development. The games are extremely popular and have a huge following... hence the production of movie! The chances are most kids/teens/AFOLS have played at least one of the games, most likely more, and the chances are they'll go see the movie. I've played several of the games, I'm going to see the film and damn, I'm definately buying some of those sets! I'm not the typical consumer but hopefully I illustrate my point. Certainly it's something to think about when considering the longetivity of the license. I'd love to see what a 2nd wave brings but if there isn't one I'll be happy just oning some of these fine sets, parts and minifigs. Get a room?
  23. Well I'm hoping so. Sign-ups only started yesterday! The tournament table is based around 32 players starting in the 1st stage. If we can only get a limited number people to play then I'll alter the style of tournament. Until then, I'd much rather wait and see who else signs up, if it takes a little longer that's fine by me. Be patient! I want the prizes to be earned, not given away - they're from my own collection afterall.
  24. A superb diorama Marshal. A fine addition to your display I'm sure! Your take on Lars snowspeeder is really nice. Would be great if either of you took ISC's suggestion onboard and shared some of the techniques.
  25. A great little diorama ISC and lovely woodwork! I've just purchase a few more modified bricks so I can get something like this working on my Pirate Community Build entry. Your work is great inspiration!
