MOC: RC 4x4 Skid Steer Loader
bord4kop replied to fredrigl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very nice MOC indeed. Good work Only point of critique would be the speed of the Booms and bucket, seems a bit slow (?) I started on one myself several times already, but I can 't quite seem to finish one -

Bord 's MOC
bord4kop replied to bord4kop's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It took a while, but here is a simple MOC.. (I have been busy, but mostly building and a lot of MOD 's) Look at my Hot-Rod V2. It is not exactly the way I wanted it to be, or finishes (the back) but well.. Have a look: It features: Independent suspension on all wheels Working steering wheel 3 +R gearbox Working pistons -
[REVIEW] 9398 - Rock Crawler
bord4kop replied to Blakbird's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The old IR Remotes/recivers work with the new ones, this is confirmed I really like you review. It 's pretty thourough Thanks for the hard work! More pictures of 'the build' here -
It think the XL or M motor will not be strong enough. Maybe when you would use a reduction 24 vs 8 gear, or even more.. The new servo motor turns approximately 90 degrees. When released returns to center. Would this be a solution? It will be available soon enough as it is in Lego stores in Germany now..

Such a great site, I 've said it before and will say it again, and again, and again Changed the setting to the new "MOC update e-mail" setting. Nice feature! -
Very nice and interessting models. I will try to get: * the crawler (for motors and the new "unimog" suspension parts which I do not own yet ) * the chopper (looks great ) * the tractor. I like it! I do not think it 's ugly, not at all! Yes, it does look a bit like the one we allreay got, but then again, dont they all look alike? Yeah, gonna be one expensive year

Effermans Cranes
bord4kop replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very good, nice and 'simple'.. It looks and operates quite well. -
Now there 's one impressive build Looks like there are some similarities with the 8047 compact excavator and/or the 8069 Backhoe Loader. But now in one model and it is brilliant IMHO. It works nice, sweet and operates smooth. Which is quite and achievement whith such a good looking and well proportioned body! All the functions are there and it seems like it is very playable!(That is; it looks like one could play a long time with it without getting bored. Or irritated with lack of, or bad functioning. Which is hard to achieve I think.) I would definitely like to see some more pictures -inside and build- of this thing! Building instructions would be best Excellent!

This is one hell of a good MOD/MOC! How did you manage to get all these functions in such a cramped space? It really looks good, keep it up! -
