  4. Thanks for the reply!I was worried because between studies and sport there is very small time-frame left for my hobby and other stuff and the only time I could enter to the academy would be summer but that is a lot of time.
  5. It would be awesome, thanks. What do you think about stuctural design?
  6. Looks good, but I think you need to add more grey
  7. Made a buoyancy test, and it floats! Unfortunately the gearing is too low to create any serious speed on water .Videos will follow
  8. Videos: Updated the LDD file link
  9. Recently discovered that I have six sets for which there are reviews needed( From technic index). From what I have a question - is it obligatory to pass the reviewers Academy or it is preferable? Also recently found this on Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.betabtech.gear.ratio.calc.lego.technic I know it is basically Sariel's calculator, but this one comes very handy when you don't have Internet access
  10. Reversed the first gears( black bevel ones) and reinforced the connections of the motors to the chassis. While going straight of reverse everything is OK but when turning the motors struggle and there is obvious lack of power. I think it's due to the up-gearing after the worm gear but if I remove those the whole car will be too slow. Maybe with l-motors it would be okay but I don't own these and don't see a way of getting them right now, I will work with what I have. Will post the updated LDD, photos and video soon
  11. If I had any other motors than medium ones I could.I'm trying to find more solutions because there is a big lack of power right now
  12. They don't have off-road pattern I wait that my version also will be fun
  13. Thanks,unfortunately I don't own any
  14. Hello all! This time I'm making the recently showed here on EB russian off-roader, SHERP Right now I'm trying to keep the weight as low as possible to make it actually float.LDD file: http://bricksafe.com...sherp/SHERP.lxf Complete model LDD: http://bricksafe.com...herp/SHERP1.lxf Videos at the end of this post Pics of real one: Finished MOC: Enjoy! My version(still WIP chassis in LDD soon will build it) Big clearance:
  15. Look in the motors section of extended mode Also there is mindstorms mode where only mindstorms components are present
  16. I believe all the motors come with cables of same length. The m-motor's one is 20 cm longEdit: Oops, too late
  17. Well, recently got a 42037 so now have four big balloon tires. Will try my hand at Sherp although I only have m-motors
  18. Actually in the cart there are four panels(sides, front, back)
  19. My first set was a Technic one - the 8281 tractor,I was 4 years old and I still enjoying it
  20. Still can't believe that you managed to fit so many thing in relatively small space. Very nice project!
  21. There are converter cables http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=60656
  22. I had a broken m-motor and they sent me a new one but then when I dismantled the old failing one I discovered that the wire was broken and fixed it.Now I have 3 m-motors.Yes I also love it
  23. Nice looking project, maybe making it completely white or adding something like black lines on the fuselage would make it look better. Also I think the nose is too wide.Maybe moving the bb to the inside of helicopter would make it look less bulky. Sorry for so many critisism
