  1. Thanks for this, the set looks great! Every time I see a review for one of the Elves sets, it makes me want to say forget those points promotions and just grab everything up when it hits the S@H site. Lego has really outdone themselves with Elves this year. I don't know if I can wait until April to get this one after seeing these images.
  2. I picked up Emily Jones and the Baby Wind Dragon. I was looking for the Water Dragon Adventure, but it was sold out. I'm going to wait to buy the others to take advantage of the points promotion and the polybag.
  3. Elves Sets have been listed on Lego S@H, saying 'Coming Soon on Mar 01 2016'. So exciting, can't wait!!
  4. Oh good. So, does anyone know the official release date for Lego Elves sets?
  5. Are Lego Elves being released in April instead of March? There's nothing in the Lego March Calendar about Elves, nor are the sets listed as coming soon on the S@H site. But the new Lego April Calendar came out and it's plastered with stuff about Elves. http://cache.lego.com/r/stores/-/media/brand%20retail/stores/calendar/april/6205-apr16-cal_medres.pdf
  6. Euphorine, I adore your mocs at the Lego Gallery. Especially Aira's home from the Crib Notes Webisode. Spot on building. It's spectacular, wonderful work. Lyichir, your mocs are awesome too. They absolutely look like sets Lego would include in the line. Amazing work. You gals are very inspiring.
  7. I agree Iria, no reason why Farran couldn't have been included in the castle set. Would have been nice considering he's there at the castle in the book. I just used a green cape from one of my LOTR/Hobbit sets for Farran.
  8. In last year's Elves sets, each of the girls got a cape, but Farran did not. So I figured he would get one this year, but still nothing. I wonder why Lego does that.
  9. She looks good with both skirts. But blue would look great with Aira's skirt. I think there are lists online of color matches for Lego, that should help with covering the rips in the sleeves of Merida's top and matching the skirt also. Good luck with the rest of the customization, it's coming along nicely so far. For the shoes; a good overhead lamp, a magnifier, and a steady hand should be all you need to make it work.
  10. It's too bad that the airship isn't featured as a set, since it's part of the main story. The Dragon Sanctuary (like Lyichir said) isn't even visited by the main characters, only referred to. So it's strange that it is featured as a set. What's your hunch about the airship and hooded farran, fortnerd?
  11. I haven't used it with the minidoll hair myself, but I'm pretty sure epoxy putty adheres just fine to rubber. Shouldn't be a problem.
  12. Sounds great. Can't wait to see her. Good luck with the construction of the ears.
  13. The compatibility issue doesn't seem to matter to children and they're TLG's target demographic, so I don't see the problem. Thank you Tragic Banjo for the information about the polybag.
  14. Does anyone know if the Sira Polybag will be released in the US?
  15. I was a bit miffed myself. I figured Elves would at least be mentioned, but nothing. The polybag is cute, but I hope they plan to release an actual airship not just an airglider.
  16. What a great find, thanks for sharing! Those videos get me really hyped for the new episodes. The new song is great. The dragons are amazing. Ragana looks so sinister, I love it.
  17. Went to Target today, both boxes of figs are gone. Last time I was there, one box was only missing a few and the other box was full. They sure went fast. I hope Target gets more, I still need a few.
  18. Oh my, it's so lovely Iria. I like it much better than the Crystal Hollow Lego set intended to signify Sparkle Rock. The addition of Sparkle Rock at night is a wonderful touch, I quite like how the pieces appear to be glowing. I'm a big fan of your mocs and mods, you're an amazing builder. P.S. Only one of the images opens to full size.
  19. I agree Ottergeek, much more Tolkien-esque. I quite like the minidolls. As Velouria said, they're more life-like. They allow more detailed artwork, more realistic faces. The ladies can sit down in their dresses. The only thing I'd like to see in the future is movable hands; like minifigs.
  20. I still need to get the Astronaut, Laser Mech, Kendo Fighter, and Frightening Knight. I want to get a second farmer, tribal woman, and animal control officer. I don't care for the shark suit guy, ballerina, and wresting champion. My Queen is lonely without her King, since I missed out on getting him from series 13; I got him for my boyfriend instead.
  21. That is in fact Emily's Grandmother when she was young. You could use Disney Princess Merida's arms for the long sleeves. I think it's the same shade of blue as Emily's new shirt. That hair you chose does come in brown, in the new Friends Cupcake Cafe Set http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6136807 There's also this hair as an option http://brickset.com/parts/4527065 Or if you were feeling adventurous, maybe try painting Aira's hair piece (the braid might not show up so much in a darker color).
  22. Regana/Ragana (not sure which spelling is correct) looks great. I'm glad she doesn't have horns (as originally speculated), she looks cool with the dark crown. I'm really liking these new sets. The evil cat is too cute. Looks like it's going to be an awesome year for Lego.
  23. That new watermelon piece is great! Some of these sets look good, others I'm not sure about yet.
  24. I'm not crazy about the color scheme, but Belle looks nice.
  25. Oooh thank you for pics! These look awesome! I love that castle! All must haves for me. Poor Farran, no cloak. I wonder why.
