Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Mr Man replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Personal I don't like it, to me it looks really misshapen, however it may be possible to mod it a bit, correct some of those proportions a bit. -
Seriously 16 minutes of adverts, over here an hour long programme is generally 50 or so minutes long.
-
It was 43 mins long not an hour.

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
Mr Man replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
It was a good episode, slightly let down by 2 things. 1) The second Moon, the creature (that I think is a star whale) would have to have the same properties as the first (mass etc.) so where did it come from. 2) The TARDIS can tow planets, why not just move the Moon into orbit of Jupiter until it hatches and then tow Io, or Triton into orbit. -
Yeah, new funnies . I love the last one, but it is a bit difficult to see Yoda as running with his legs fixed like that .

You want to see images of custom vehicles people have made and for those images to be posted in this thread you just created. Here at Eurobricks each person creates a new topic every time they show off a creation rather than posting them in one big one (like this one would become). If you want to look at (and comment on) other members creations you can brows further down the menu page at each topic (we are in the midst of a competition so there are plenty of freebuilds ATM). .

If you have a MOC to display, you are expected to create a separate topic for them. This includes vehicles .

Is episode 3 up already . So does that mean Spark of Rebellion is a two parter?
-
I watched it online somewhere, I don't know exactly where, I just googled the title and it was uploaded.
-
Watching it again, I loved Kallus kicking that poor Stormtrooper of the platform at the end .

This was looking like a photoshoped version of the scene from the film at first, you know, with a Lego filter added. It's breathtaking, truly astounding .

The lightsabres flicker in the middle and the laser bolts are solid red, well done for making special effect failures from ANH canon instead of fixing them in the Blue Ray . The Wookkies looked stupid, the model for Chewie in TCW was 1000X better. The art for the ISD was stunning though, as was Agent Kallus' facial hair . The lack of deaths bothered me, as did the random rescue of only 6 or so Wookkies on an entire slave planet. Why has Sabine not got any armour on, she has one tiny piece on her chest and some arm bits, the Mandos in TCW where much better armoured, also no jetpack . Some of the Imperial (read: English) accents were clearly Americans trying their hardest to sound like Monty Python characters . It would have been nice to hear some of the Stormtroopers with Clone voices. At times there is too much of a OT vibe and not enough TCW vibe to it, some more holograms or things would have been nice. Less Stormtrooper deaths and more Wookkie deaths would have balanced it out a bit. I really hope some minor TCW stuff might be tied up here instead of in comics and books, such as: What happen to Rex, Cody, or Wolffe? What are the cloned positions in the Empire?, What about Ventress and Asoka, having them as Jedi (Nightsister) remnants on the run from the Empire together would be very interesting.

Fantastic job, I think I have the original hanging around somewhere.

You missing a smiley off the end of that or just being rude ?
-
I love all these recreations of the classic toys in Lego form .
-
Oooh, very nice , it's a bit of a shame you didn't include the window side though, I liked the bit where they are looking through the window and taking their hoods down, it had a nice OT feel to it.

Wow, an exact match fort he scene. Though should't the title have spoiler tags .

Star Wars: The Clone Wars The Lost Missions
Mr Man replied to commanderneyo's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Wow, I'm going to have a look at these later. Maybe the Rebels team could be persuaded to animate them in their spare time . -
Well that was a fantastic opener.
-
Oh, nice job, it's got all the important parts with a good level of detail as well as the shaping .

Sky explained it, to bait Ward. HYDRA want world supremacy, that's not a Nazi trait, they haven't mentioned any sort of eugenics programme, without one they aren't any different from any other world domination sect. Also, of course people tangential associated with the Nazis get a second chance, where do you think all the US and USSRs rocket scientists came from? As for killing innocent people, do you think Fury has never killed innocent people to complete a mission? If they can turn Ward into Spike I'm all for that someone who knows all HYDRAS stuff should be on the team, especially if Fitz gets to kick him in the head a few times each episode.
-
Modern HYDRA, especially Centipede has nothing to do with Nazis at all.

Outstanding .
