    I bought this set on impulse while shopping on bricklink for Lagoon Lock-up. It has to be one of my favorite sets! So small but yet so cool

    If Lego made this into a set I would buy it regardless...but personally I wish the designer would have used classic yellow instead of gold. Still looks amazing but just personal preference

    RIP wallet Honestly the last time I was this excited for a set was 79018 The Lonely Mountain from the Hobbit movies. Just ordered mine and now all I can do is wait. Super excited to build this beautiful piece of history!

    Yeah I would agree! A new pirate line would be a dream come true. But if Lego "remade" the Caribbean Clipper...I might need to buy 2

    Personally I think we shouldn't be arguing about this especially not on this form. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and should not feel ashamed of it. I think with most of us being in quarantine the island madness is settling it...which I guess is good timing for this set With that out of the way I want to say that personally I loved the original submission being so different from anything Lego has made before. However, once seeing this new set it sparks so much nostalgia and joy inside me. Always loving classic pirates and growing up playing with them all the time, (sadly using Mega Blocks Pirates of the Caribbean ships tho because they were cheaper for my family). This set brings such a different take then ever before on classic pirates. Yes we have gotten plenty of shipwrecks in the past but never one you rebuild let alone iconic. Maybe it's because I love all space/NASA themed Lego sets and we all know how divisive those set are, but Lego can't please everyone. The way I look at it is that I am buying this set for sure but now because of the original submission to Lego ideas, I am inspired to build my own version of that in the future.

    6239 Cannon Battle back in 2009! I remember crying in the Lego store as a kid begging for my mom to buy me 6243 Brickbeard's Bounty...this was a worthy victory at the time

    Is the fire temple still a rumored set? Because I know original leaks said they were remaking the fire temple. However I hope season 10 would be a good one, season 8 and 9 were not my favorites.

    Get the carnotorus set now! It is an amazing set for sure! Also I own the t-rex transport and I really love that set. The truck is great! I love getting Zia, and having the brand new (more accurate) rexy from the big screen is great! Definitely wait and get both of those sets.

    I don't know if it's just me or anyone else but the computers in the jurassic park raptor chase set look way too modern. I did notice though if you copy the computer design from set 70900 and just change the bricks to white it could look time accurate.

    It wouldn't make sence why they wouldn't include the great hall. Lego has never been such a jerk and made you buy another $100 set after paying $600 for the entire castle. Thats like the UCS millennium falcon not including the cockpit...it wouldn't make sence.

    Already starting my fund for the D2C Hogwarts! Yesterday I found a gift waiting for me on the sidewalk. $200 cash! I can't imagine them making you buy a $100 great hull to add to a $600 castle. Doesn't make since. I think the great hall will be included in the D2C.

    I can't find the leak but I believe a thousand words can solve that issue. What does the truck look like? Is it kinda like the t-rex trapper from 2015 or the triceratops tracker from 2012? Or is it a closed off design? Then finally is the t-rex better than the old one? (Look more realistic) Then what is the base color? Thanks for who ever answers these questions.

    True but remember the juniors set also reused the pterodactyl print from 2015 while in the system sets they re printed him. I'm with you on this though like there is a chamce buy why wouls they. Rexy already looks great so why change him.

    I really love the Jurassic Park set! My wallet gets to stay alive and I can save more money for other Jurassic World sets. I almost feel like if you buy two jurassic park sets you might have a better display. Sure you will have to modify some stuff but thenyou get more of a computer room, extra rows in the kitchen, more accurate dna room. And of course two raptors. I can see how this set will make a cool display piece though!

    You know what's interesting to me. Kinda off topic but something I noticed. In the lego 2012 Dino line they introduced all the new dino molds with white nails. But when Jurassic World came out they switched all the nails of the dinosaurs to be black. Now the second wave of Jurassic World is similar to that design except for the stygimoloch. Which has white nails. Idk I thought it was weird.

    This is going to be good! I hope this isn't just a lego set that had nothing to do with the movie. Because thats going to be the jurassic park ford explorer scene on steroids! Stuck in a sub with the mosasaurus chasing them. This set however sounds really awesome! Can't wait to see pictures.

    Actually I don't think there will be a $500 jurassic park set. Wouldn't make sence no one would buy it. I think lego knows their target margin would be around $200 so most kids can still play with it. Harry potter makes since to have a $500 set due to how enormus hogwarts is. Also it would be like a big barbie dream house idea which jurassic park couldn't pull off.

    Actually I think he is talking about the jurassic park raptor. And calling it ucs because there is a chance it could be a d2c set.

    to be honest I believe lego will do this exact scene for a polybag. Having baby blue, owen with an exclusive print, and maybe some toys around that blue can play with. Also it seems that a new raptor just leaked? Its all green as the previous one the belongs to juniors is lime green?
