  1. I think people prefer the more muted color scheme, and this one includes arguably better minifigures. Anyways, here's the LDD file. 75149 Stand.lxf Have fun building, and if you post it somewhere maybe shoot some credit my way. Thanks!
  2. Hmm. I wasn't too excited when I first heard the reports from Toy Fair, but this set looks really good, especially the Dr. Strange figure.
  3. Thanks for the review! This is a nice set, but not spectacular. I can live without it.
  4. I acquired 75149 on the release date at my local LEGO store and finally got around to building it. I love this set, especially after removing the stud/spring shooters and fixing the wings as shown here. I actually prefer this one to Poe's X-Wing. The stand is adjustable to change the angle of inclination, if you wish. If there's enough interest I can take a few more photos and perhaps whip up a parts list. The stand also works for 75102 (of course) and any other ships (Star Wars or not) of a similar size. The stand is very sturdy and looks great on my desk.
  5. Ooh, good idea for a contest. I'll have to come up with something. Shouldn't this be pinned?
  6. Marvel: Baron Zemo (Civil War) Howard the Duck DC: Reverse Flash Condiment King
  7. Or, instead of messing around with voices, you could try contributing to the discussion.
  8. With your new-fangled hosty editing powers, you actually can go back!
  9. If I recall correctly (and I do, I hosted, I still have all the spreadsheets) you were scum in that game.
  10. I know full well what a vengeful townie does, it was a reference to a previous life in which I cast the hammer vote on Tariq and he venge-killed me. Unfortunately we both had Town PR's.
  11. I believe a no-lynch day 1 is best for larger games... of life, with more... Disposable townies, but in these smaller ones it usually ends up doing more harm than good.
  12. Unless something else comes up, yes.
  13. We can learn a lesson from previous lives, methinks. Consulting the archives of our Mafia brothers back in the Middle Ages, I seem to remember being too hasty for a lynch cost the villagers two important "Power Roles," whatever those are.
  14. I second the request for a standard character list. I need to know who I can drop a line to! Shoot, only 11? I thought we had 12. Better make this quick. There can't be more than 2 or 3 Ultimatios.
  15. I purchased Airport VIP Service today, and I think it's a really cool set. The price/parts ratio isn't great, but the build feels solid enough for the price. There are a couple of large bricks/plates/prefab hull elements in the plane, which are probably what drove the price up. The limo is near flawless, it's just a shame you can only fit 2 minifigures inside. A great addition to any city. Overall, a solid 3.5/5 stars.
  16. June 1st LEGO Haul These two sets caught my eye the most out of the summer wave. Unfortunately Fun in the Park was sold out. I'm building a park base for the fountain, it's coming along really nicely! Just need to order a few parts to finish the paths/fences.
  17. What do you mean! I used the phrase "patiently!" I am a very patient person! I'm innocent! Mindless bandwagoning! No vote justification whatsoever! Vote: Rider Raider (Rider Raider)
  18. I'm here, with a crazy sense of deja vu.
  19. Hate to break up the Red Hood discussion, but I finally got my copy of the character encyclopedia today. I've only flipped through a couple pages, but it looks like a fun read. However, the table of contents seems to be missing Cosmic Boy? Am I just blind or something or did they really forget him? I'm not even going to comment on the Pirate Batman figure. He's awesome. I know this is the DC thread, but I hope they make a Marvel one sometime soon.
  20. Great build! I will be stealing your road design one day.
