Bought the Creator 3 in 1 Robo Explorer.

^I still think that looks like a portal in the fortress. An evil portal.

Started playing the first Gravity Rush last week. Kind of fun, but difficult to latch on to the story because of busy-ness and the fact that the game makes my nauseous after ~45min. Exploring caves in Minecraft does that to me too. I'm thinking of replaying Last of Us again soon, since a friend loaned us his remastered version.

Sort of watched three movies while doing all day homework yesterday: Return to Oz The Gods Must be Crazy, 1 & 2

Sure, I'll try: Azari’s escape with the Pegasus It’s a small set that comes with Azari, a Pegasus and a lime green goblin in blue clothes. Azari is on a small dark pink/magenta carriage that has ornate gold wheels a large flame shooting out of the back. The Pegasus is the same from the 2nd wave, but is completely gold except from some magenta hair on head and tail. Forest Elf’s Healing Hut Comes with a new elf that has dark skin, black pony tail hair (?) and a blue outfit, Also comes with Naida, and a goblin with dark purple (?) clothes. there are two main builds to this set- Wyvern and hut The wyvern is mostly dark blue with some transition to magenta in its wings. The healing hut is interesting and a bit tricky to describe. The hut it dark blue looks like it is on top of a cave or maybe it is just how they designed the first floor. Top floor has the standard arch pieces we’ve seen in most of the last years’ sets, and has a gold fence element. There are purple leaves sticking out from the top floor and some weird tendril pieces that act as branches. On the ground there are some random things – a cauldron, some growing (non-printed) pumpkins, a mouse, a baby dragon (lime green and light pink trim). Rescue from the Goblin Fortress. 3 minidolls: Goblin king, Emily and her sister, Sophie. Also a purple skinned goblin with purple clothes. The fortress looks like more like a medieval style fortress. It is almost completely that light limey yellow green colour, with a bit of black trim and weird long dark blue/purple tendrils coming out of the sides, which gives it a bit of a creepy look. Left side of fortress is a tower on one side with a cage big enough for a minidoll. On right side is one of those drawbridge doors with the chains. Not much else to say without seeing a pic of the back side. It also looks like there may be a portal up and behind the drawbridge. Oh and a small raft that comes with a paddle. It is rumoured that there may be a fourth summer set, (we are missing Farran and Aira in this wave), but I’m not sure if it would be a bigger set.

We can't. Someone had a link a page back, but they were marked confidential, which Eurobricks doesn't allow. You might be able to find them elsewhere on the web, but I can't really direct you.

Wow, they sure changed styling in this years sets. The colour scheme especially, but also the design details and storyline are much more gender-neutral. I wonder if this will help or hurt sales. I guess the third year of a wave is a good time to experiment with new ideas. I'm not a fan of the wyverns. We had enough dragons last year. Wish we could have gained some new creatures. I welcome the goblins, but would have like something new+bigger. That small flaming pegasus looks okay but it is not very original. I am really hating the use of that pale green in this years sets. It is probably my most hated Lego colour . Maybe I'll feel differently once I see the sets in person, but I think the colour clashes roo much with most of the others. I'm not a fan of that prelim summer castle. The shape looks fine, but it doesn't look like much of a challenge to build. The most promising sets are likely the goblin village with its neat style and maybe that healing hut - yay for a new elf. Aira's airship is aesthetically nice, but too close to the Ninjago airship from a year ago.

Question about replacing broken parts through customer service
Iria replied to fatsomania's topic in General LEGO Discussion
No idea. I'd recommend calling/emailing their customer support and asking them directly. You wouldn't want to do all the work off making a big online order only for them to flag you as someone who is trying to abuse the replacement system. (That is if you have a bunch of random broken bricks, rather than just a couple).- 5 replies

Parisian Restaurant. I really wanted a nice modular. Found out I'm not the biggest fan of modulars, which is probably for the best. The only other >$100 set I have is Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle.

Dorayaki made some customized Elves minifigs for the first years' waves using their hair pieces along with some decals/printing and paint:

The last two years the sets have been released in March. (Possibly a little earlier in some European countries). I'm not really a fan of the regular mini-dolls either, but the Elves ones have grown on me.

Finally bought the last Elves set from 2014 that I was missing. Pegasus Sleigh always seemed pretty overprice, but was at 40% off at ToyRUs for BlackFriday. Also bought the Dragon Sanctuary and Lava Cave which were on sale earlier this week.

Black Fridays in Canada are typically a let down and I've almost never seen anything decent on sale at shop@home. Best sales I typically find are at ToyRUs. Currently there are tons of themes at 20% until tomorrow I think. I don't know what discounted gems the weekend might bring.

My ideal use of snow was always making snow forts with friends.

The Goblin Village looks fantastic. It's nice to have a new building style introduced in the theme. As nice as the airship looks, I wish it was a bit more innovative in design - it's basically a mashup of Naida's Adventure ship and the Ninjago airship, with some nice twirly gold trim. That said I'll probably eventually pick it up because it does look great. I am let down by the Gondalla, but I can't expect much from the lowest price set. I was totally confused when I first heard that Naida was getting a gondola, because this is what they look like where I live: Oh, it looks like we are finally getting some weapons in theme. Get ready for some goblin-elves battles. I wonder why that orange goblin has a mandolin balalaika, haha.

Another visitor to the Bellevue WA store, just before Halloween. Got a nice variety in a large cup. May have went overboard with the studs... Bonus attempt at making something out of only my PAB and a base plate:

I really enjoyed it. It was a very thoughtful movie that presented an interesting way of thinking. It's definitely not invasion movie, like some of the reviews described it as. Very much a simple first contact film in terms of action, but some some thought provoking ideas and a few nice visuals.

I thought the horse-cozy scene was hilarious. My boyfriend, not so much. That reminds me- dammit! I wanted to dress up this halloween as the horse scene in that movie. I would have put on one of those creepy horse masks, worn a fake wool coat and taped a print out of Leo's face to my stomach. Ah, missed opportunities.
