Procrastinating on scholarship applications which are due tomorrow morning. I hate doing them so much. My boyfriend says "then just don't do them". So little faith in my money gathering abilities.

That is what is known as a "viral video". Or it is just content made by a successful Youtuber with a massive following. Come across them pretty often. For the most part they are annoying.

We sure have given a lot of beautiful sets in the Elves line. My biggest problem is choosing which ones to display in my Lego corner! I'm still missing most of this years sets. I finally picked up the Queen Dragon Rescue set . I love how long Ragana's castle is. And wow is that white dragon big even compared to my modified Skyra castle.

Very cool! I think the pale green whisker colour stands out a bit too much. A darker green would make it look like it was part of his body. It also looks like his arms are too high up and close to the head. It might look less awkward and contorted if the arms were moved a few inches to the top right (around where you can first see the back scales). Overall a really great display piece for fans of dragons and DB.

Wow, the summer sets are already showing up on the Lego Shop at Home site (for Canada anyways). I guess they really are coming out in June this year. I like the shadow raven of the castle.

The Gift (2015). Been a while since I seen a decent thriller. It was creepy with several twists.

Life. Story was okay, but most of the characters were boring. Could have used some more space shots. End scenes were the best part of the film.

I bought Horizon Zero Dawn last week and I am loving it so far.

Going for a hike and watching Planet Earth is a better use of my day than working on final project.

Great mixture of purist elves, Killian! I agree that Lego Elves seriously lacks characters. I've modified some of my doubles using paint because I have few mini-dolls outside of elves, but your result looks a lot more unique. You integrated a decent range of colour and styles.

Finally started the Uncharted series. It is an easy game to become an expert in head-shots. Nice scenery, but I miss open worlds.

What a creative idea for a modular. I love the design of the exterior, especially the top of the second floor and roof.

Nice little snowy scene. The use of colours is really good (lavender and tan are complementary colours).

I don't think it's a mistake. The elf queen sisters were all of different elements, so why couldn't their children be different. While Rosalyn looks like a water elf based on her clothing and hair colours, she nurses trees and was the forest queen which is associated with the earth. I think they might be trying to move away from colour=element association.

If blue portals go back and forth to the human world, where do the green portal connect to? Wonder who the elf girl in the little picture in the fortress. Perhaps it is Emily's grandmother, which would tie the Golblin King to Emily and Sophie.
