That’s kind of disappointing...mosaics are cool and I’m excited to see it but that was one of the first guesses and was immediately shot down and then we were promised something “game changing” and now it’s just what everyone thought from the beginning. Also, between this and the busts, I think it’s too many collectible adult oriented sets in such a short span when there’s been nothing before this. I’m definitely going to pick up the Iron Man helmet, but this mosaic is going to have to be really impressive to justify the high price point.

I don’t know why everyone thinks this. Robin from the first LEGO Batman Movie CMF was included in the Bat Space Shuttle set and seemed to be exactly the same, and just this year the DC CMF reused Aquaman’s head and hair from another set. They could easily reuse at least Harry’s torso. I absolutely love this CMF series! I think it’s even better than the first based on what we’ve seen so far, and I adore the new molds, especially Fawkes, Sprout’s hair, Luna’s hat, and Bellatrix’s hair. I can’t wait to see the rest!

Now that series 2 of the Harry Potter CMF has leaked I think we can put all the speculation about a Mario CMF to rest, at least for 2020. I’d love to see one down the line, though!

What the hell? Everyone here is being so dramatic. They’re trying something new, and that’s great for them. If it fails, it fails, and maybe then they’ll try making some minifigure based sets. But I’m holding out hope that the $100 set is a Bowser or Peach Castle with minifigures because I can’t see EVERY set being this kind of flat game level style especially when they said we’ll see very iconic things. I think this idea is very cool- not what I was expecting but I’ll definitely buy some sets to see how it works. I just hope we get minifigures eventually. I also don’t understand all the idiotic licensed theme hate at all. LEGO still makes original themes and licensed themes have created some awesome new pieces and figures even when they’re one-offs like Trolls and Minions. And this Super Mario line is definitely NOT going to kill LEGO. It’s doing just fine.

A Marvel CMF would be amazing! I’d definitely want an MCU based one over a comics one, at least for the first series. It could really fill in the gaps.

So is Leaf Monkey Kid or Super Mario?

I love the look of the SW helmets and can’t wait for the Iron Man one. I truly don’t understand the stud hate on these and other sets- studs make it look like LEGO and personally I think the designers manage to strike a nice balance between smooth and studded surfaces 90% of the time. If that is the Avengers Tower we’re getting over the summer, I’ll be pretty happy. It has a similar look to the MCU one but it’s more angular and I like the greenish color.

Hawkeye’s been in pretty cheap sets- $20 in 2015, $40 in 2016 and 2020. Very excited to hear about the new Captain Marvel helmet mold! I hope they use it for future MCU appearances too!

The new sets sound okay. I’m excited to see the WW84 one but disappointed to hear it’s only two minifigures- for $40 I’d expect three or even four. The new Bat Family figures sound cool and I hope the 2014 Batgirl cowl returns since I love that piece! LEGO always does mobile bases pretty well so I think that build will still be interesting. Hopefully the Harley and Joker figures are new- I’d love a Harley based off of her Birds of Prey look but I’m guessing that won’t happen.

These summer sets sound absolutely amazing. Awesome figures and great builds from the sound of it. Very excited for both Avengers Towers and the Helicarrier! And the 4+ Loki Avengers Tower will be the biggest 4+ set to date, right? I thought previous big sets maxed out at the $50 price point. Spider-Ham sounds cool and I hope Captain Marvel gets a new helmet mold or at least a printed helmeted face with an existing hair piece like the 2016 version. 4 Eternals sets is more than I was expecting and I definitely didn’t think we’d be getting a $100 one! Very excited for all of this news!

I generally don’t mind all the Marvel vehicles as much as other people, although this year’s wave was testing my patience since it was so similar to last year’s. This Venom Crawler set looks cool, but holy hell am I sick of crawlers, and I say that as someone who loved the 2019 one. Venomized Iron Man is nice but needs leg printing and Carnage just looks weird without any kind of tentacle attachment to me. That Spider buggy looks surprisingly good! I just really hope the Avengers summer sets are better and offer something new.

There’s actually an action scene that was filmed with an agency’s trucks, so we could get one of those in a set.

New sets sound great. Baby Triceratops and Ankylosaurus sound/look amazing and I’m so pumped to be getting another Indominus! I have the original but it’s my second favorite molded animal after Smaug and I hope there’s a new print job that makes it look more gray like the movie. The new Ankylosaurus and Gallimimus molds sound awesome, too- I’m really surprised by the variety of dinosaurs and new molds we’re getting this summer. It’s sad that there’s no Mosasaurus but fingers crossed we get one for the final Jurassic World movie next year! I’d really love to see a Mosasaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Stegosaurus in the future, and to everyone who says a Brachiosaurus would be too big, they made Smaug with a ton of new molds and if they made a Brachiosaurus that size I think it would work just fine.

I hope we see WandaVision sets!

These new sets sound awesome! Centaurs, new Patronuses, awesome figures! I can’t believe they’re redoing Privet Drive although I’m surprised they’re only doubling back to previous movies for one set and it’s not the Chamber of Secrets itself. I hope there’s another D2C this year too but that seems unlikely.

A $100 Avengers Tower set?? That’s a day one purchase for me. I hope it’s awesome.

They also called it a DC set and @Falconfan1414 is the one who revealed its existence in the first place...

This bust sounds like a cool idea! I figured we might get something like it based on the Star Wars busts from last year and the new ones this year. Is it safe to assume this is the Zebra product? It doesn’t sound like it. It’s interesting that this set is 18+, too.

The figures who don’t come in a plastic bag in the packet come with two posing stands.

The box art is gorgeous and Widow is still a great figure, but Taskmaster still looks bad and the horrible sword and shield don’t help. I can’t believe they didn’t make a printed shield and use one of those short Roman gladius swords. Yelena looks good except for the reused generic face (I literally thought it was the same as Natasha’s for a second) that looks nothing like the actress, and that tired hairstyle. The build looks good and I quite like how this and the Captain Marvel set both have large substantial vehicle builds for $30- they definitely seem to be worth the money.

Taskmaster needs more orange and white on him. I wish they could figure out how to print hoods or dual mold them.

Black Widow looks good, but I don’t get why the figure is black when the suit in the movie is a metallic grey with black highlights. LEGO could’ve used pearl dark grey for the figure. Taskmaster doesn’t look good to me. The black hood clashes with the dark blue body and the lack of leg printing stands out. I hope the face print is good.

I hope we see the figures soon- leg printing on both Widows sounds great.

If there’s really only one set then I’m disappointed they didn’t make the white suit since IMO that’s way more unique than another dark Black Widow suit.
