Some sets have leaked! The Legacy Destiny’s Bounty looks awesome, I just bought the Ultra Dragon, Stormfighter, and January sets so I’m very excited for these ones. I like the Spinjitzu Surge figures too, I was afraid they wouldn’t have hoods since the leaked figures had hats but I’m happy to see that they do. Why was Garmadon removed from the Bounty? Do we know?

I for one am convinced that “HERMIONE SHORTY AT AT” is correct. I can’t wait for the D2C to be Year 1 Hermione piloting an AT-AT against Diagon Alley.

Yeah, probably. Maybe they just mean one side of the house is open, not that it can open.

Burrow description has leaked. Not many specifics other than recreating the fire attack with “special flames”, recreating Christmas scenes, and it says one side of the house opens, so maybe it isn’t open backed like all the other sets? It seems weird to break that style to me.

Wow, these sets look awesome! They do remind me of the Ninjago Movie wave a bit. My favorite one has to be the Monkey King mech, that thing is absolutely gorgeous and my eyes bugged out when I saw it. Definitely can’t afford to get every set so I’ll probably skip the villain vehicles but this theme looks incredible. Do we have prices for all the sets? I haven’t checked back through the pages in this thread.

I’m very excited for this GWP! The microscale Diagon Alley is my favorite GWP and Hogsmeade will look great next to the D2C Hogwarts. I don’t care much about the exclusive figure, it’ll be nice to get a new character (hopefully) but like Ollivander I won’t have anywhere to put them unless I want them rampaging through Hogsmeade like a giant (which is what Ollivander is doing in Diagon Alley right now). I like exclusive figures with GWPs and D2Cs but with these microscale Harry Potter GWPs I’d rather have exclusive nanofigures of relevant characters rather than exclusive minifigures, especially since the figures will eventually be released again even if they’re slightly different.

The sticker sheet looks great, I’m excited to see the whole set! I’m surprised that the car seems to have a slightly different build as I kind of expected it to be identical to the Whomping Willow one. And on the subject of stickers, I’ve always heard people talk about how they peel up after a few years, but I’ve never experienced it myself, not even on sets from 2010 that I applied horrendously.

Other people have mentioned that and it does make sense! They could’ve easily included two hollow studs and a bar clip piece though to make it look like she’s carrying the broom horizontally, or even just a 1x1 plate with vertical clip.

The US release last year was originally August and then it became July I think, same as 2018. I’m fine with a July release one month later than the rest of the world because at least it’s not as bad as a two month wait!

I also don’t get the hate for Ron...the figure looks fine and yes dual molding would’ve been perfect but the print still looks great. Lavender’s torso is good and I’m fine with the hair choice, but that face is awful. She really needed a new one or after least a better reuse than Rey’s. Hopefully she has a skirt. I understand why they reuse face prints but I don’t get why they can’t reuse a more accurate face. Even the Jyn Erso/Black Widow/Mera/Vicki Vale face would look better on Lavender than Rey’s.

The Great Hall and Hagrid’s Hut are far more iconic than Borgin and Burke’s. You seem to be missing my point that in a D2C Diagon Alley, I personally wanted obscure DA shops rather than a Knockturn Alley shop. That’s just my opinion and what I would have liked to see, I’m not saying what I expected LEGO to do or not.

I’d rather have new shops than a third B&B, that’s what I was saying. And I want some street like the modulars as I think it makes the builds look nicer when there’s somewhere to position figures outside of them. It wouldn’t waste many pieces, definitely not enough to create an entire extra shop. An upscaled version of the GWP would be perfect to me because while a Diagon Alley that’s a bunch of disconnected shops is still a fantastic set, I’d like this D2C to be more of a proper street like the GWP is.

I think Gringotts, WWW, and Borgin and Burke’s would work best as standalone sets (in that order). However, I doubt they’ll exclude Gringotts in a $400 Diagon Alley set and they’ll probably make a separate underground dragon set for DH2. IMO getting Borgin and Burke’s in the D2C is disappointing because it takes up space from smaller and more obscure stores like QQS and Flourish and Blott’s, and those are the kinds of stores we’d never see as standalone sets. I would’ve been very happy with a D2C that was just a scaled up version of the GWP. I hope that this set is a bit like the modulars so they can connect with pins and they have some street in front of them, but I doubt they would be fully enclosed around the back.

War Machine looks great with this helmet. It does look better on sleeker suits like the video game one, but I prefer the functionality of the flipping one and the newer one can look a bit too flat since all of the detail on the front is just printed.

Hermione looks great! I’m not bothered about the reused faces since I do think this one works well for Hermione and I don’t think Harry needed an upgrade yet. I also don’t care much about the lack of leg printing for Slughorn. Umbridge is amazing, I can’t believe they matched the Bricktober level detail!

Is the Iron Man helmet set still coming out on May 1st? Shouldn’t we be seeing images soon?

Oh god, that Poison Ivy figure...hands down one of the best LEGO minifigures ever made. I absolutely love it and I’m so glad I own it. I also never completed the theme (especially wave 2, I still want Bane, Two-Face, and tutu Harley) so I’m gonna try to get the Batwing set and Bane’s truck in the fall since they’re pretty good prices on the aftermarket.

I figured that would be the case, but it’s still disappointing. I for one only use digital instructions if I absolutely have to but I far prefer actual manuals. Going digital is probably better for the environment but still, not every child is guaranteed to have a way to access digital instructions so I hope it doesn’t become the norm across all themes.

I would love another Arkham. The 2013 one is one of my favorite sets ever, and the 2017 one was good but I just didn’t like the color scheme and design as much. A $200+ gigantic Arkham with a similar gothic style to 2013 would be incredible.

They should really make those claws a real piece. I don’t love them but they would work for Bronze Tiger, Black Panther uses them in the video games, and they could probably find other uses for them too. I’m very excited to be getting a new Batgirl since the one from 2014 is one of my favorite DC minifigures! I hope it reuses that cowl piece instead of the TLBM one since I’ve kinda had my fill of TLBM Batgirl.

Don’t forget about the original Cap motorcycle set in 2012 or the Ultron drone set in 2015! I do wish Marvel and other themes would do more battle packs, though.

Yeah, I love the helmet on its own but it looks a bit off on the figure. I really hope a Mohawk helps. I also think it looks weird because she never smirks like that when wearing her helmet, she’s always more serious. I’d like to see this helmet on her MCU figure with the Mohawk on because I think it’ll look better then.

I’d love a Ministry set but won’t believe one is coming unless a reliable leaker like @Falconfan1414 reports it. On the topic of the 2011 Diagon Alley, I still love that set and have always wanted it! I was going to try getting it this year but if there’s a new one coming I’d rather save up for that and get the 2011 one another time.

Exactly, and I think they’re better off building small franchises around their heroes (Wonder Woman has 2 movies, Aquaman with 3, Shazam with 3, Harley Quinn with 3) than trying to make everything as connected as the MCU is. I do hope we get sets for The Batman and I also hope we get some Birds of Prey-inspired figures down the line (like at the least the gold overalls outfit for Harley).

That’s a great Captain Marvel figure! Brighter than I was expecting with the normal blue and yellow hair, but the leg printing is fantastic and I like this face on her. I’ve got no problems with LEGO reusing faces if they fit this well! I’ve been using March Harriet’s on my MCU figure for a while. I’m just very happy to see her get leg printing.
