I have now put in a minifig. But I cheated by removing seat and the minifigs legs. I only have 3 brick height to play with.
-
Thanks. I like yours too. Especially the back. I will have to update the rear mine at some stage
-
Using the windsreen and cylinder parts from Space Police 5972. Plus other parts from my very limited supply. I know the rear fuel tanks are too big but that's all I had to play with. Front view Front quarter view Side view Rear quarter view Rear view Based on this model Enjoy

4841 Hogwarts Express Train Discussion
AllanSmith replied to Chromeknight's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I modded the original HP train by adding a train motor and train wheels plus extra carriages. I am thinking of turning an Emerald Night into one by changing the green for red. If this new HP train is OK I might mod that too -
Updated truck. Larger exhaust pipes, rear cab window. Changed from box body to container truck. Redesigned rear deck and rear lights. I can now remove yellow container and carry another load. This time it's a derelict car. Front Rear Container off New load
-
Updated light bar. Changed front direction indicators to match rear ones so I could use cheese slopes on light bar
-
I agree with you all that the tow truck is the best. I have completed a small rebuild on it. Internal strengthening to stop flex. New roof lights. White side stripe to make the white headlight bricks merge in better Front view Side view Rear view Towing home that unreliable classic pickup !
-
Today I destroyed my orange Rat Rod and Four Wheel Drive to add another pickup to my collection. It ended up as a wellside pickup. Same chassis and size as the other pickups Performance pickup with blower intake. Tow Truck alternative
-
I remember now. The Battle Truck in the link used at least one (or more) of every dark grey piece that was in the LDD range at that time
-
Thanks, this is so great. Click here for an alien / zombie killer version Updated to flame thrower version
-
Updated MOC. Changed to flame throwers. I like my aliens / zombies toasted.
-
Due to lack of parts I have decided that the rear one is a rocket launcher and the top one is a spear launcher cause I am missing one grey stick. Check out my very old battle truck with 4 missles Click here

There are 2 of those pieces in Space Police set 5972, I used the other one in my two seater dragster. Looking forward to the Minifigures coming out this year. I what a few zombies :skull:
-
Thanks. It would be good for Zombie killing too.
-
Why are these aliens so scared. They were only waiting for a bus. Oh no! The Space Police have arrived on Earth and commandeered the Cabinet Makers classic pick up truck.
-
Thanks Lightningtiger. I only have a limited amount of parts. Chain saw and some tools raided from Advent Calendar.
-
On the photo the is a flag hidden around the corner on the blank back wall It does not show on the box art.

MISB - to open or not to open...
AllanSmith replied to Mister Phes's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I managed to obtain a carton of 24 Maersk trucks from a LEGO rep when they came out so they are still in perfect condition. I normally build all my sets but I am 5 years behind in building them due to moving around the country. I do have lots of extra MISB sets for parts. I recently opened about 10 Outback Airstrip sets to get the tan baseplates -
Front view Side view Rear view Tools: chainsaw, broom, axe, stump grinder, 2 spanners, shovel and a cupboard for the safety vest I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night and I work all day. Off home
-
The cabinet maker in his classic pickup truck passes the lumberjack working from his brand new stake side pickup truck. One day that tree trunk will end up as another orange kitchen cupboard. More close up photos to follow of my latest creation. Uses the tow truck chassis. It is same wheelbase and size as the classic pickup.

Replaced rear tail lights and also replaced tinted windscreen with clear. For you Ralph Time for a shower and breakfast. This LEGO is so addictive

Thanks for the great comments. As with my other MOC's I only have a limited supply of bricks. To replace the blue brick and to get some black headlight bricks I will have to do a Bricklink order. I do miss my unlimited supply of spare sets and bricks that are in storage 400km away Edit: Found 2 black headlight bricks in my Advent set and the black brick with studs on front is in the new City repair truck. That should be on sale soon in NZ

These MOC's never stay still Removed the curved tank under the rear and replaced it with twin exhaust pipes. Removed the high stop light because old pickup trucks never had them. Reduced the width of the front grill. Given it a load of kitchen cupboards. Enjoy
