  1. Actually its a reflection on the black back of the cab. What looks like the stud for the head is actually a stud on the back window. On the other hand it could be a minifig ghost
  2. Seems everyone is making pick up trucks so here is my version. It uses the tow truck chassis. Two different sides (mean black and nice white) for feedback. Has rear window and high stop light. Note that black is hard to photo and I will replace the blue piece when I can. Comments welcome
  3. 1 point for Erdbeereis 2 points for SlyOwl
  4. What set does this female torso come from? Want to make up a Shania Twain minifig ? thanks
  5. Bricklink parts order arrived so I updated the cab to have doors

  11. First of all keep your fingernails long Large plates have a bit of flex, so a slight bend will allow a fingernail underneath the smaller plate Tiles have a small lip around them for your fingernail. Place a 1 x 4 brick on the top of the 1 x 2 plate and another 1 x 4 brick under the other 1 x 2 plate. hold with both hands making sure both thumbnails are on join of plates. Bend in half to break join and each plate should come off attached to each brick.
  12. You could always change the camera settings to 800 x 600 ( site guidelines) click here for member guidelines
  13. Thanks for your great comments. All my 25 year collection of parts and sets is 400km away in storage. So I only have parts (from a 30% off sale) below to build with. Racers 8121 x 2 Racers 8122 x 3 Racers 8162 x2 City 7635 x 2 City 7638 x 3 City 8402 x 1 Space Police 5969 x 1 Space Police 5972 x 1 Most of the parts from the sets above have been used in the earlier MOC's I have posted here. I would improve my MOC's if I could. I do miss my endless supply of thousands of parts that is currently in storage. Also once a MOC is built I do not pull them apart so most of the above set parts have been used up. I designed this Bigfoot truck a while ago in LDD. This is what I really want to build using those wheel arch pieces. It has suspension and four wheel steering
  14. Sorry I deeplinked to only online copy of photo. Will be more careful in future
  15. Bought two of these from someone in USA a long time ago. I have one still boxed and one as shown below. Fits in nicely between road and train track. Taupo Hobby Show 2008 http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ToyKiwi/...8/taupo_002.jpg
  16. Using parts from Racers 8121, 8122, 8162, City 7635, 7638, 8402 and the Space Police 5972 set I built a 4wd recovery vehicle and car trailer. Working winches on vehicle and trailer. 4 seats in recovery vehicle. Enjoy
  17. That was my idea too. I want to build this one, seen in Australia, as its smaller than the one in your link.
  18. 4th line down on original post has a web link to original. Excellent MOC. Captures the look of the real one.
  19. About 1985 when I started buying LEGO I decided I couldn't afford all the the themes so I settled on Town and Train. I have bought nearly every town and train set since then. I always wanted to build a train layout like you see in other scales (HO, OO, N, etc). Due to lack of space I can only build these layouts when I display at a show. Maybe one day I will have a pernament layout. I also build train and vehicle MOC's and a few building MOC's.
  20. Try the smaller wind turbine set, it will fit. I had 2 plus another one being erected in a small space. I doubled the height and powered them with micromotors and a train controller to get slow speed. Here is a link to video of the wind turbines in action.
  21. So using XE.com 7936 $US 29 7937 $US 72 7938 $US 218 7939 $US 290 But I suspect that the USA prices will be lower than the conversion rate above.
  22. I bought 20 space torso's on Bricklink from one supplier and 20 legs from another. The space torso's were the cheapest option as they were used not new More rude LEGO: Found these pictures of a hotel I built in 2000. Click here Also guess who I worked for then?
  23. It is one piece from a Belville set. click here for Bricklink info
  24. As its an R18 forum heres a picture of my nudist camp I did for my display at the Taupo Hobby Expo last July. I sacrified lots and lots of the classic yellow spacemen by using Brasso to remove the logo
  25. Small MOC today. Drag strip staging lights. Topic title inspired by the bumper sticker " Get in, sit down, shut up, hold on"
