Hello! I am new. (And I need some help, please!)
Actor Builder replied to sir_launcelot's topic in Hello! My name is...
I'm not an expert but if it doesn't have to be an EXACT replica of the Mars Rover, I would recommend changing the six wheels to be two tank treads. One on either side. That would be the easiest to motorize and for your daughter (Or anyone) to control. Besides that, I don't know. If nobody else responds to this post, make a topic in the Technic thread or something. They can help. They're smart.- 1 reply

Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion
Actor Builder replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
Precisely the question I was asking. Fire Stations are often multiple buildings near each other, so I was wondering if any CITY fans went a bit HQ crazy and are making a huge fire station. Alas, I suppose that technically should reside in the HQ thread, so I'll be leaving this thread because I have naught to say about this set anymore. -
Looks really good. I'm going to say a few nitpicky things because I'm a huge fan of Indiana Jones, but it really is good right now. I think that the back could be curved a little more, but I really like the use of Light Bluish Gray instead of Tan. I think the wheels should be the one-stud wide kind. This would also make it easier to attach the extra wheels. Although, come to think of it, I don't know if there are tires that thickness that come in a one-stud size... The hood should be straight, and not have the SNOT slope technique, but should be a tad bit slanted to a point on the top. All that said, it is very good. Much better than the version that came in the set. When I eventually get to work on this truck, it'll take me a long time to get everything how I want it for my perfectionist self. I've been working on the black car in that chase sequence for about two months now. I just can't get the back right. Good work!

Need some advice on how to collect/invest in LEGO
Actor Builder replied to gundamz's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If you're really just trying to break even...I would suggest buying two of each large set you get. Open one and save the other sealed. Then, you can sell the sealed later. Most likely at a higher price. You can also sell some of your smaller opened sets if necessary. In this fashion, you should be able to keep some large opened sets in your collection, even if you have to sell everything else for emergency hospital bills or something. -
Thanks man, that means a lot. Besides the error concerning my username (which fortunately will not affect the rhythm at all if corrected), that is a marvelous poem. I love when poems have gimmicks, such as the one here.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Actor Builder replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Crap. That First Order General dude is now something I really want. The arm printing is almost necessary for a custom Col. Vogel from Indiana Jones. It's the best option so far. Wait...Why does the bag not show the printing, but the figure does? -
Ghostbusters (Reboot) 2016 sets rumors and discussion

Captain Pirate Man, I would be much obliged if you would kindly and subtly implement the use of Spoiler Tags next time you plan to deploy a spoiler. Especially in the set discussion thread. I personally don't care, even though I hadn't seen it, but others might. So is anyone planning to buy three HQs to use as a giant Fire Station in their city? -

That's completely subjective. None of the cast are what I would consider humorous. Amy Poehler should be the top pick for most female-led comedies, in my opinion. EDIT: Then again, I didn't find the original Ghostbusters film humorous either.- 248 replies

Is anyone going to buy two HQ sets so they can house both Ectos? -
The phrase does ring a bell. Alright, I'll step into the speculation pot. I'll bet it's a huge bust of a guy named Ben.

In the past, mods have locked threads for lack of information, then unlocked them when something new appeared. I guess if discussion is encouraged, it wouldn't hurt to fill this thread with clock/bell tower puns?

Sure it is! That's part of the fun of redundancy. It might not be seen as whiny, as one person's multiple postings might be, but it's certainly redundant! Sure it is! How about those watches that come with a sized-down one piece minifigure? Those are super lame.

He was mocking CM4Sci in that post. Hence the quotation marks followed by a laughing clipart thing. -
I think that must be an excerpt from a book: The Existential Toddler I'm totally going to write that book someday.

Annmunoz did, this time. Annmunoz is a new Spammy user who want us each to become a dieter. I think that we should all simply refuse her. Please make Annmunoz quieter.
