The Convention - Day 3
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It has already been speculated by Michael, but I shall confirm: I am the Vigilante, although I'm not limited as Michael had suggested, I don't believe; I wasn't given any weird limitations. I stayed home on Night 1, because I had no idea who could be Scum. Last Night, I killed Tariq J, an Ultimatio. I'm quite happy to see I have a 100% Vigilante Accuracy rate. Truth be told, I also was very curious as to whether or not the poor fool was immortal. I see now he was not. -

I'm guessing more like a crappy build on a stand.

That's super trippy. I like it.

I doubled my Pet Shop thanks to finding a second at a thrift store for cheap, but I'm not sure how one would make them each 24 studs wide. My apartment half is now 32 wide, and my shop half is still 16, but six floors tall. I hope your plan works out.

What was the last movie you watched?
Actor Builder replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just watched Inception. My brother requested it on BluRay for his birthday, and I obliged, so then we watched it. I'm pretty sure it was a Batman Fanfiction. -

21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V (LEGO Ideas)
Actor Builder replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm really looking forward to this one. I got the old Saturn V Moon Mission set when I was a child, and loved it to pieces. Literally. It's in poor condition. I actually found a second copy of it at a garage sale recently and that brought on all the nostalgia. I look forward to adding this to my Saturn V Trilogy. I just hope this isn't a repeat of the Ideas Mars Rover disaster. I'm still sad I missed out on that one. -

Oh I love the weird blue Bird-Things. My favorite may be Geri's Game, one of the first ones, I believe. I was just noting the evolutionary process.- 279 replies

Alright then. Is it official or do we wait for the day to end and hope nobody unvotes? -
The Convention - Day 2

Alright, now I am fairly confident. Thanks for boosting my morale in a roundabout way. Frank Johnson for Lynch, 2016. -
Wow, Stripe looks way better than Gizmo. I hope he's a real minifigure as well. Mr. T. is fun. I notice his basepate says "The A-Team" and doesn't define it as "Mr. T" or "B.A." or anything, which probably confirms that that is all the A-Team we'll get. Still fun though. The other A-Teamers shouldn't be hard to customize. They're pretty generic looking. I'll bet we get MacGyver in Dimensions Part III.

The Convention - Day 2
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Alright, for now, unless I come back today and rethink everything and come up with a different result... Vote: Frank The Tank (jluck) I'm not at all confident in this decision. I don't know. However, I'm joining the current majority on this for the sake of time. If I vote on someone else, or not at all, and we ended up one vote short of the right decision, I would feel pretty bad. So I'm the fifth vote for Frank. Whoever the final decision-making voters are, I hope you do the right thing, whatever that is. Just in case nicknames are not official votes: Vote: Frank Johnson (jluck) -

I have neither confirmed nor denied my support in lynching anyone today. I have not voted yet because I have been working. As it is, I know I'll have to vote before I go to work in the morning, or I'll miss my chance, due to the time the day ends. This makes it tricky for me, as I'll miss some discussion. Please remember this tomorrow as we discuss why people voted for who. I will not have time to change my vote after I make one tonight. -

That's cute. Animation has come a long way...I'm just sitting here remembering the short about the birds on a wire, and realizing how much better animation is now.- 279 replies

CMF Series 17 Guessing Game

Okay so my short list had Gremlin on it. Gizmo is now confirmed for Dimensions. Does that count as a point? Half a point? Two points? -
The Convention - Day 2
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Is it possible that both Michael and Frank are lying? If they are scum working together, then when we lynch Frank, Michael looks like he's town. It could be a very complicated ploy. This is all conjecture, of course, I honestly have no idea what to make of the recent claims. -
The Convention - Day 2
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I was purely in favor of a no-lynch day one. However, a no-vote is a wasted vote, in my opinion. Voting for the host, even if futile, could have some interesting consequences as a result. I wish we'd lynched him. Would have been entertaining to see how that wound up. You do make a good point, Nisimura. Yakovlev voted for the host, and may have seemed scummy as well to some. I take it we all understand that Yakovlev was not scummy, but truly just wanted Vodka. I hope he got a final drink before death. My opinion of you, Nishimura is constantly shifting. I don't like that in a man. We'll see how we get along from here... -
Thanks for the picture, promobricks. I wish Gizmo were fuzzier, but it's a pixelated picture of an animated version of a plastic toy, so I can't really judge that yet. Do we know whether it's a Gizmo Fun Pack or a Gremlins Level Pack? Is there any pattern to the set numbers that we know of that could be used to deduce which ones are which?

The Convention - Day 2
Actor Builder replied to JackJonespaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Not much discussion is occurring. I'm going to assume that's because it's still early-ish, and because my Brother, Amelto is out visiting his dead Uncle-In-Law's grave... The man's name was Giuseppe. Funny enough, I'm not entirely sure it wasn't Amelto who killed him... I'll step in my brother's place during his absence to try and stimulate some discussion, even though I'm nowhere near as good as he is at that. I'll speculate that the Scum killed Yakovlev arbitrarily, without knowing anything about him besides that he was Town. I'm not great at speculating these things, so the rest of you had better join in sooner rather than later. And by Town I mean Mafia, of course. But I wouldn't be dumb enough to edit my statement, unlike some people I share a name with... -

Thank you! I literally just found that picture minutes before you posted, so good for us! It may not be allowed to be posted here, however. So be aware of the possibly impending moderator edit.

I don't know what video you mean...But he's not in it I guess? I'll watch it right after responding... Here's the thing, CM4Sci, don't expect Gremlins to be good. At all. My reaction makes it seem like the best film ever; It's not. It's really not, I just happen to love it as a bad film, it's really not good. Don't get your hopes and expectations up, just have fun watching the cheesiness and cuteness and not-cuteness. I think it's on Netflix... Where did Gizmo used to be in that video? Where can I find the original version? I can't? Okay...
