The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Actor Builder replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
He seems to be contemplating the likelihood of homosexual individuals in LEGO form. Minifigures aren't really sexual creatures anyway, so I don't see how it would matter one way or the other. I always figured that Minifgures just built each other to reproduce. -
This is great! I really like it. I don't know what else to say, but I love it.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Actor Builder replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I could definitely see an Inverted Corner Modular in the style of Detectives Office. That is, multiple building in one staggered, symbiotic structure. That would eliminate the need to have just the tiny corner façade that everyone points to as a problem. It could have an alleyway, then a building, or whatever. My point is that it doesn't have to have a tiny façade. LEGO Designers are creative. If they want an interesting Inverted Corner, they'll make it. -
I don't have anything against this government. Let them govern! I vote "Yes".

Ghostbusters 2016 Reboot discussion
Actor Builder replied to Kaanere's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I believe you mean that he hasn't. It is quite possible that he was a legitimate reason of whatever substance for disliking it, but he just hasn't let us know why yet. Your reply assumes that he is incorrect. He found it awful. In his opinion, it was awful. He is right about his opinion. I'm not saying anything about the film, I haven't seen it. I just don't care for mob psychology and this film has certainly created two distinct mobs on the internet: Those that hate the film for whatever reason, and those who hate the people who didn't like it. I think I'll refrain from ever seeing this film, because of that. If I don't like it, I'll immediately be labeled as a sexist pig, even if my reason for not liking it is something like "The plot was jumpy" or whatever. This film has done little other than stir up controversy and create animosity amongst anonymity.- 248 replies

-zenn, here's a quick poem about that odd father... "Fathering Reduce" has just one use: Keeping on record the guitar fretboard. Wow, I'm tired. That's probably a crappy poem. Also -zenn, could you remove the spammy link in the quote? With it there you are no better than the spammers. Thanks!

LEGO Ideas Discussion
Actor Builder replied to The Real Indiana Jones's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I haven't even seen Deadpool. But you know the saying... "Meta is betta." -
This pretty much sums it up. It was crowded with useless characters. The characters that they actually took time to develop well are obviously going to be the crowd favorites, and the others are just unnecessary. But again, I didn't hate it. I just didn't love it. Oh, I just remembered one of my gripes about it: the accents some characters used were atrocious. Boomerang was hard to understand and had more of an exaggerated cartoony cockney accent than an Australian accent. I know they're similar, yes, but there is a difference. Maybe that wouldn't bother most people, but it bothered me.

Mr. Stay Puft (out of a Giant-man and with instructions!)
Actor Builder replied to hachiroku's topic in LEGO Licensed
I like it! I agree with the face criticism, however. Since you've asked for advice, I'll offer my two cents. I think you may have spent a bit too much effort on trying to make the face appear rounded. I would have made it more flat on the front, with subtle sloping on the sides. His head is more of a rounded-off rectangle shape than a circle or an oval. That should make it easier, as well as look better. Besides that, it looks great! -
Michael hasn't been in government yet, am I correct? Well, I personally think that's a good start. I eagerly await looking forward to seeing who he chooses as Town Council Chair!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Actor Builder replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
It's an abbreviation. The "B" stands for "Bull", and the "S" is for the heightened intensity of the word feces. They are combined into one long word that looks similar to this: Bulls**t. This word is often used in declaration of disbelief, such as "I call BS!" This basically means the user of the word thinks that the person they are responding to is lying to them. If you are planning to use this word in front of your mother, I advise you to reevaluate the matter. I hope that helped. I disagree, actually. I've made two Corner Modulars for my little city. They were each 16x16, for simplicity's sake, but they actually look good next to the others. -
We don't have any real proof that the LEGO Batman Movie is even in the same universe, besides being Will Arnett, do we? I mean, I guess it's a fair assumption, but I can also see them saying something like "Batman's never been out of Gotham" or something that would completely alienate it from The LEGO Movie plot. I understand that it's a spin-off, but I think it's too early to say it's in the same universe. That's just my opinion, however.

Okay, Krulis liked it. I guess this will be another split crowd film. I didn't hate it, but if I had been more hyped up for it to begin with, I think I'd feel let down. For me, it was more like a 5/10 than Krulis' 9/10.

Nice! I love Meta Art, and this is interactive Meta Art, which makes it even better. Thanks for alerting me to it's presence, Blondie-Wan. I supported it. -
Mid-Credits, now that I think about it. They did the main cast, then had a scene, then they did the production crew. I didn't stick around to see if there was a second scene after that.

I saw Suicide Squad today, so a quick personal review. It was okay. Of the ten main characters, only two had fleshed out (And well done) backstories, and three had sloppy, incoherent backstories, leaving half the main cast as unknown weirdos, really. The ones with strong backstories were And the ones with muddled stories were The other five really weren't given coherent stories or motives, really. They were just there. The best actor, in my opinion, was actually Killer Croc. He didn't do a lot, but he never broke character. He was consistently crocodile-like in the background or foreground or wherever. He had subtle yet effective Crocodileness to his movements, and I really appreciated it. I didn't really appreciate the main villain... REALLY BIG SPOILER! DON'T OPEN. IT'S LIKE THE ONLY REAL SPOILER FOR THIS FILM. About the Joker... But it was fun. The film was fun. I didn't have grand expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. It was just fun. There IS an end-credits scene, so stick around, if you care. It's not crucial, but DC fans will want to see it.

What was the last movie you watched?
Actor Builder replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Suicide Squad, for free, and a few days early. It was a free early screening to promote a local news channel in conglomeration with CW, owned by WB... It was okay. I didn't have high expectations, and it didn't exceed them, but I also wasn't disappointed. -
What would I say? I've provided the informative information I received from my investigation, as well as the number of cards I drew. I know that Joshua is scum and I am not, but due to the process of things, and the logical process at that, I can say nothing to dissuade anyone from or persuade anyone to, more or less than a 50/50 trust foundation. If you have any questions about the procedure in which I investigated Joshua, I'll be happy to answer. Or, if you want to talk about life, or the problems you may be having within, I am a great listener. Joshua is scum, as per my investigation. I don't think Bob would lie about that, unless it's an absurd game mechanic, so for me personally, I know of one confirmed Scum (Joshua), one confirmed Town (Me) and one that I don't exactly know where to place (Anne). It could be either way for her, I think. But though I have said words, I have added no more substance than I had previously, because I could not. For really, it is 50/50 to someone who didn't see the investigation result, as I did with my own blankly staring printed-on eyes. It's unfortunate, really.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Actor Builder replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
He was indecent in the US version as well. I love that set. I wish I'd bought more than one of them. Those ostriches are amazing. I want six ostriches, at least. I should have bought more. -
What was the last movie you watched?

Jurassic Park III. I actually thought it was better than The Lost World: Jurassic Park, although I know most people think it's the worst of the three. It was decent. -

I wouldn't be surprised if a different exclusive Batman Variant comes in every single activity book.
