Looks great so far! I bet it'll look better when it's finished. The only thing I would suggest changing at this point is the game table and the chairs around it. Might I suggest getting the dejarik table from 75105 and then some tan pieces like 75105 and 75192?

That was a Rebels set though. The ship even appeared in the show.

My guess is they don't want to take attention away from the Han Solo movie products. If the movie gets pushed back to December though, we may see the UCS brought forward to May. (off topic, but I'm kind of hoping Disney decides to push it back. All the other Star Wars films have had December releases and they've needed them, editing is a long process. Filming wrapped yesterday, that means they have 7 months to finish it. I don't think it can be done well in that time.)

No! My wallet will still be recovering from the Falcon next December! If that's real no doubt it'll be another $1000+ set here down under. On a positive note, two UCS sets for next year! Can't wait to see what they are.

There's nothing beyond speculation. I don't get why people have suddenly started thinking that they're teasing sets by hiding them on boxes. Everything fits in from a design and in universe perspective. To me it means nothing. Now, that TIE Advanced in the background of the MF design video, that screams out to me. I guess we'all just have to wait and see.

I think @RetroInferno was referring to the flickr account that originally posted the image. I hope they do, for those who missed out on the last one. They have the mold so they should be using it at every opportunity! If this cantina set does turn out to be true, I'll probably pass since I have the last one, unless it's something absolutely fantastic.

I dunno what to think of the picture. It also has ninjago figures we've seen before, so it could be real, but the original flickr poster has a lot of custom figures on their profile. Obviously I wouldn't trust anything the guy claims in his post but maybe there is another cantina coming and it'll be one of the exclusives?

Assault on hoth is an incredibly underrated set. If you don't have any of the older hoth sets, it's a great pickup. UCS snowspeeder looks great on display and is a very fun build. The u-wing is an excellent set, probably the best of the rogue one wave, but it doesn't really have room in the cargo bay down the bottom. TIE is very impressive on display (it's massive) but the build is boring, monotonous and repetitive.

It's completely possible, and I might even go as far as saying that the design for it was concept art and the FO "heavy scout walker" eventually became those FO AT-STs we see. (Also, what are you talking about? Kylo's TIE is in the trailer for a good 30 seconds :P)

This seems like it could be a "heavy scout walker" to me... it's entirely possible that the concept art LEGO based the set off of was unused and this became the final design. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Excellent work as always! I wanted to tackle this one myself eventually but I'm going to have a hard time living up to this. Well done!

Not that I'm aware of, which is why I'm calling bull on this Luke X-Wing "rumor." That and the fact that the release date is given as essentially "sometime next year." I don't get why people are always so quick to believe the lies spread by the trolls looking for attention.

Better sell them soon. Once LEGO gets stock in nobody will want to pay scalper prices. LEGO will be keeping this set around for ages (think Death Star ages). The time to sell them is now.

All I'm seeing is some random person pulling the "I have a source at LEGO so whatever I say is true" card. Looking through his tiny post history the only thing remotely reputable is him claiming the Falcon would come out around the same time of year as the Disney Castle did, which had already been confirmed by others. Not buying it. Also, I'm still not 100% convinced the falcon silhouette on the Death Star box was a hint. It's placed behind Vader's TIE Advanced, and in the movie it appeared at the last second to send Vader packing. I'm sure it was just a design choice to reflect this and it was a happy coincidence that people online took it as a sign and the Falcon did happen to come out.

In the US maybe, but here you can hardly find them. Of the 20+ stores that I visit regularly that stock LEGO only one store has Brickheadz, and they've had the same stock since the start of the year.

You're looking too much into it. Until a reliable source comes out and says an ISD is coming the "rumors" that are going around are nothing but wishing and speculation

Turns out, fixing the cockpit is simpler than I described earlier. Swapping out the 2 1x2 with slides for standard 1x2s/1x4 and then replacing the 2x6 plate with 4 1x2 jumpers is enough to make the figures sit properly behind Chewie. This is one of my only gripes with the set. It's not hard to fix, so why wasn't it done?

Just finished building the set a few hours ago and my only complaint has to be the fact that a figure can't sit behind Chewbacca when he's in the copilot seat. I think it can be solved by adding a half bushing to the rod on the underside, swapping out the 1x2 plates with slides behind the seat with a 1x4 plate and adding 4 1x2 jumpers to use as seats in the back, but I don't have time to try until tomorrow. Anybody want to give it a shot before I do it?

Australia Post finally decided to deliver my Falcon! They left it on my porch which I'm very I'm happy about, their website said signature was required and the label on the box has "signature is always required" written in big letters. Got started ASAP, got to the end of bag three after 3 and a half hours. I keep telling myself I'm going too fast but then I remember I have 14 bags to go.

Anyone who's thinking of BL'ing them, good luck. Those 2x2 wedge pieces on Boba's helmet are exclusive. On an unrelated note, anyone know the best way to paint LEGO bricks? Only need to do 2...

I really hope they do send it out to all countries. I never got a proper VIP card when I signed up. Yeah, as discussed a few pages back shipping LEGO into Australia is a nightmare because of how long the tracking stays on "arrived at terminal location" or "processing" depending on what website you look at. If it's any consolation, mine shipped the 15th and I still haven't gotten it. (One page says estimated delivery tomorrow, another says Wednesday. Knowing AusPost it'll be Friday )

Awesome! I was getting a little worried though cause I had mine shipped on the 15th and Australia Post had been holding it like they do with all S@H orders until today. Also if you're planning on keeping one sealed to resell later down the line I wouldn't even bother, this one will be around for ages (I'm guessing it'll be like the Death Star) and will never appreciate as much as 10179

My tracking finally updated!! Estimated delivery Tuesday as predicted.
