If I remember correctly the Snowspeeder didn't say it would be available to VIPs until it was actually available to buy. Hopefully S@H actually updates the website on time this time... Tonight is going to be a long night -
As expensive as it would be, it would be cool. All the TIEs in the old TIE collection were minifigure scale
-
I just realized that one of the things at the top of my wishlist would be an updated TIE collection. Preferably with 2 standard TIES and a TIE Advanced again, along with an interceptor and bomber... maybe even defender or reaper...

[PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017

Hey fellow Aussies, anyone have an idea as to when this will go live on S@H? Only D2C I've ever bought day one was the snowspeeder, but it wasn't on sale at 2 AM so I went to sleep and got it at 8. Do not want to be taking that chance with this one. -
[PRESS RELEASE] 75192 - UCS Millennium Falcon 2017

Not that it really matters now, but the space slug and the mini falcon in the intro of the LEGO designer videos was definitely a teaser for this set. The sets on the shelf in the background are the same sets in the same position in the background of the MF video and it's Hans and Matty (in the same clothes as they are in the MF video) with the mini falcon and slug respectively. No doubt that that was filmed on the same day as the MF video itself. Now, hopefully the interview(s) in the instruction manual can shed some light on the silhouette on the death star box because I'm still convinced that that was just a design choice and not a clue like so many other people believe. -
That is Vader's TIE... but keep in mind that the Slave I, Krennic's Shuttle, Republic Fighter Tank and Resistance Troop Transporter, which are present on the shelf too, are all sets designed by Hans Schlömer, designer of the Falcon. Personally I wouldn't be disappointed if the TIE Advanced is the next UCS, if it's designed the same way as 2015's TIE Fighter I'll be extremely happy. Like others I would love a new Y-Wing. Since the Snowspeeder re-release, and now the Falcon, I've been holding out for a new Y-Wing as I love the ship but can't justify spending that much on the old one. As for the Star Destroyer on the box of the falcon, I've always thought that the silhouette on the death star box was just a happy coincidence so I wouldn't be looking into an ISD too much until someone comes out and says it's happening.

If there are any Rogue One sets in the future I think we'd see the Cargo Shuttle before the AT-ACT. Cargo Shuttle would probably come with Bodhi, Jyn, Cassian and Kaytoo, then depending on whether the box depicts it on Scariff or Eadu we could either get some resistance troopers or Krennic, Galen and maybe a Death Trooper respectively. The AT-ACT would almost certainly come with the pilot (maybe 2, but probably not), Chirrut, Baze and then either some shoretroopers, storm troopers or death troopers. I doubt we'll see more Rogue One sets any time soon though, I'm afraid it'll end up forgotten in the craze of the new trilogy and other spin-offs.

Not mine but here is a photo of the two together. I have the Slave I and it is a fantastic set, probably in my top 10 list so I'd recommend it anyway. I'll also be buying the falcon asap - I really hope I can get in early enough on the 14th. If you're buying both from S@H just make sure you've looked into your country's applicable taxes, I know here in Australia it's gonna be an extra 5% on top cause it's considered a "high value import." -
Interesting to see tube pieces used for the engine I'm very surprised at the inclusion of the gun on the underside, did not expect that so my jaw actually dropped when I saw it. On the other hand, very disappointed that Han and Leia's alternate prints have been wasted with the breathing masks. Also, the $1300 price tag is a bit ridiculous. At least it's cheaper than the old one. Can't wait to get it.
-
It's gonna be my new coffee table. Now to find a case big enough for it.
-
Two little brick built porgs are in it. Mynock is brick built as well. Also, I'm noticing a few more stickers
-
Yup, can confirm. Saved them before they got deleted.
-
HOLY CRAP interior confirmed. Honestly I never thought it would have one and just thought it would be a straight up update. This is so cool! Can't wait to get it! Also a mynock! Fantastic! Also Han and Leia appear to have those breathing masks as mentioned earlier. This is a perfect set.
-
It might be, the spreadsheet I linked above suggests that it could possibly be $1200AUD
-
There's two pictures. One of just the box where Han is just visible and a second one with the ship beside it and 3 more figures, Chewie, 3PO and Leia
-
I always knew I would do it on the falcon eventually, I just never expected it to be through LEGO themselves until this year.
-
A couple pages ago before we knew the piece count I posted a link to this spreadsheet I did up that predicted the aus cost and piece count. I got the piece count right on the money (in between 7500 and 7600) and the spreadsheet indicates that it'll be $1200-$1250. Don't be surprised if it's $1300 though. Personally I planned on $1600 at the start of the year so I should be fine to get it day one. Can't wait.
-
Dreamworld will definitely have it. I called them up a couple of days ago to see if they could tell me anything about the price (and if it would be worth it to drive down to grab it instead of ordering from S@H). Got nothing beyond "all we know is it's coming and it will be big."
-
Holy shit. That is amazing. The box looks like it's something from hasbro's black series. I'm in love. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

That part has been printed before in the past, but I don't recall the color ever changing that dramatically for it. That's definitely a sticker... god dammit. (Also it confirms that it's real cause no MOC builder would use a sticker? ) That's such a small detail though I'm sure you could leave it off and it wouldn't change a thing... unless you're a bit pedantic like I am and like to have the set done 100% to the instructions... even down to the orientation of technic pins...
