Yoda and R2 will most likely be the same as always (there is the possibility that R2 could be a muddy variant but I doubt it), Luke will probably be the only new figure for the set.

This is my thoughts exactly (I've been saving all year too). The Falcon set has always been a statement piece to me. "I love LEGO and Star Wars so much, here's a full blown minifigure scale Millennium Falcon." I think I'm one of the few who wants this new one to be exactly like the old one. (I even prefer a brick built cockpit to the moulded one)

Chinese courts are notorious for siding with companies from China in cases like this one. Here's one of many instances where a Chinese manufacturer stole another company's designs and got away with it.

Most likely September , but the case is in the Chinese courts so don't expect a fair decision

I was unaware that it was the same stock for the whole of Europe, I thought it was per country. TIL. I was planning on ordering from S@H cause there's really no other options for us aussies.

I hope the high Australian prices are actually helpful for once and ward off any other potential buyers. I want my falcon ASAP . Hopefully they limit to one per customer to keep resellers away and serious buyers can get the set they want.

Not at all. That's just the volume of the box. There is a lot of empty space in LEGO boxes, remember? The box size of the old falcon is also the same size used for the SSD, both Death Stars and the Sydney opera house (there has to be a few more but I can't think of any right now.) All of those sets have drastically different piece counts but were all put in the same box. We can't infer piece count from volume.

That's clone wars Ki-Adi Mundi. Those figures have to be placeholders. Looks like a neat little build with a few useful parts. Of course the figures are the draw. I wonder if the clones will be gunners in the final set as well?

That would be the best way to secure some more sales, but unless they market it as an ach-to set and completely miss the old Han figure (which I doubt they'll do) it's unlikely to happen. I really hope this is the falcon we have been waiting for. My wallet is ready (after months of saving, but still ready)

I'm very jealous and would probably buy this in a heartbeat if I wasn't so financially restricted Having just read through this thread, the first couple of pages give some great info on what you could do to sell it. In a nutshell: post in several forums, get word of mouth within the community then put it up on ebay (with a reserve price) and advertise. If you do decide to post it for sale, no doubt you'll grab the attention of the LEGO community, with the auction more than likely being reported on by the LEGO news sites (like Brickset does with catawiki - which may be a good place to post it? idk someone chime in here please). As far as I know the others have yet to be sold, so there really is no telling what you could get for it. All the best to you, good luck

We don't know for sure. It is most likely coming as many sources have said it is, but no real pictures exist as of yet. This thread just goes off the rails whenever the falcon is mentioned.

My exact thoughts when he mentioned bespin. Anyway, we're only a month out from its supposed announcement, so we should be getting pictures within the next couple weeks. All we need is just a little patience.

The scout walker appears to have a function that moves the legs automatically. That's so awesome!

Pretty much everything from the prequel trilogy hasn't been released as a UCS yet, there's lots of ships there. There's also truckloads Clone Wars and Rebels stuff as well. You're bound to find something that catches your eye from there.

I seriously doubt the large set is another MF - Looking forward to seeing if I'll be proven wrong. Since we still know nothing about the movie, I have no clue what it could be. I personally believe the falcon won't be in the movie as much as everyone thinks, so I wouldn't be surprised if the big set is Han's ship before he got the falcon.

That is not what happened at all. Like most sets based on new movies, the designers were only given the concept art as reference (IIRC the designers were also given the chance to visit pinewood for a day to get some sketches of the props, but as Kylo's shuttle was CGI this was not one of them). They made the most accurate set they could with what they were given. Other toys of Kylo's shuttle were affected too, hasbro released a light gray version.

I think it was probably due to the parts allocated to the set. Try making a cargo shuttle at that scale with only 800 parts. As for the "announcement" for September 1, I am very excited. Hopefully it is a Falcon, but if not, I have enjoyed all the other sets he has designed so it should be very good and of a high standard anyway.

You know it's going to happen. Hopefully there actually is a MF because I've been preemptively saving for months. It won't be cheap here in Australia. As for the Last Jedi sets, I like the look of all of them, but will probably not be buying them until they begin to get discounted. BB-8 and Kylo's TIE are ones I'd like to grab ASAP.

100%. There are way too many sets, and whenever a list pops up which has everything the community wants it's very hard to believe. Maybe if there was also a TIE Bomber I would've believed it /s

Boba Fett is rumored to be one of them, I'm guessing Han will be the human and Chewie will be the alien. No clue as to what the last one could be. EpVI Lando in disguise?
