To me all of this suggests that LEGO is trying to cut costs. All of these things are small corners that can be cut without drastically affecting the overall product.

Anakin's interceptor needed one extra figure, it could've been any random jedi that we haven't gotten yet. Just like when we got Kit Fisto in Obi-Wan's interceptor. LEGO can afford to give us an extra figure every now and then, I don't know why these interceptors don't get it.

There’s no way the AAT wasn’t coming with Ahsoka... I’m glad we can finally put that to rest. Seeing the same Kashyyyk battle droids and Obi-Wan figures again screams “cost cutting” at LEGO. I’m surprised Anakin isn’t the same as the other starfighter set. I was hoping the Eta-2 would have the slightly different colour scheme. Easy pass. Night buzzard looks great Grievous fighter looks way too expensive but I want it. Good to see the final duel again. I personally don’t like the set but it’s a very well executed playset that a lot of people loved last time, I’m glad those who missed out will be able to get it. I don’t like the galaxy’s edge ship.

This is the ways these discussion threads have gone for years, this is nothing new.

I remember something about the figures being the last two knights, the ship’s pilot and Rey but I can’t remember if it was confirmed or if it was just wild speculation

All these people guessing that the D2C is a Death Star have already forgotten that it’s been confirmed to not be a Death Star.

Yeah they usually do but LEGO could surprise us. This D2C could be anything, UCS set, massive playset, could even follow in the footsteps of the Tantive and be a capital ship playset. So many possibilities.

Do we know the pricepoint of the 2HY D2C?

I'm genuinely excited to find out what the 2HY D2C is. This is the first time in a long time that we don't know what's coming, and we haven't been able to guess it like we have done for the last few years. While I'm hoping for another UCS ship to add to the collection it could just as likely be anything else, here's hoping its something new and exciting.

Right on the money there. I'm holding out for TIE Interceptor and Advanced rereleases.

Helmets already out of stock in Australia. Probably should’ve seen it coming, there goes my plan to grab them with the A-Wing.

The UCS Falcon was on a list to retire at the end of the year, wasn’t it?

10225 is one of those funny sets that you can often get on the secondary market at a cheaper price than when it first came out. The last thing we need is another UCS X-Wing, especially when there’s still a few OT ships that haven’t been released yet. There’s also many more sets that deserve a remake before the X-Wing.

Sounds like its going to check all the boxes for me that a UCS set should. Here's hoping its $300 AUD and not $330 (or higer) like the Snowspeeder.

People on this forum has correctly guessed every UCS before we’ve known anything about it since the Snowspeeder, maybe even longer. It seems like this year’s 2HY set is the first one that we can’t work out since almost everything from the OT has been released at this point.

Don’t get me wrong, I think this is a fantastic set and I’ll definitely be getting at least one. Maybe two, ideally four or more... but man that price. $45 for an army builder is horrendous. I want multiple copies of this set as much as anybody else but this is a bit much. LEGO clearly saw the opportunity to make some money and took it. Nothing against the set and figures themselves (especially the battlefront jet trooper ) but the price is terrible. It’s great that LEGO is listening to their fans about what products to release but it’s a damn shame that it’s come from excessive campaigning from people like MandR, especially when LEGO has had a professional relationship with this site (and others) for so long... it has to be at least a decade, right? As far as I know Eurobricks is an RLUG, is the ambassador network still a thing? I was under the impression that the whole reason it existed was to provide an avenue for LEGO to communicate with fans. Perfect opportunity for them to reach out directly and from what I can see they rarely if ever use it.

$90 AUD for the helmets is certainly better than I was expecting. Do I spy stickers used to do the mouth detailing on the two trooper helmets?
