  1. I think it's OK, I would even use third party parts if Lego elements won't do the job. And I think SBrick is much better than the IR system Lego uses.
  2. http://www.boomrooierijweijtmans.nl/fileadmin/weijtmans/images/boomrooierij-weijtmans_materieel04.jpg Maybe this machine is a nice idea, its unique in Holland, this is the only company that has them.
  3. Still don't like the tires, the real ones are not so round at the edges. But that is also the problem with the wheels on my 8482 tractor and my 8265 wheel loader, wheels are crap, but haven't found others that will fit good and have the right treads. I am also looking for other tires for Jurgens Backhoe when I am building it. Using yellow rims, the same size as 8482.
  4. Yes, meant the rear bucket. Although I think the front one is also a bit to narrow.
  5. What a cool truck!! Not much a fan of the tires though, but that is a Lego problem. They use balloon tires, that is a thing they should change.
  6. I ain't a fan of the standard bb, they are bulky and removing it for replacing batteries and recharging all those batteries is a pain in the megablocks.
  7. Hello Efferman, What size bucket would fit jurgens backhoe best, don't realm like the wide one used in the instructions. And the old style one from 8862 is Yellow, want to use a black one. Would that one fit and can you make it in black?
  8. This machine is awesome!!!!! Just one question, what is the reason for using a normal bb on the upper structure insted of a rechargeable bb? Just ecstatic, costs or functional?
  9. The pneumatics work so far, only tested it with a manual pump cylinder, don't have the bb yet. I know the switches on the crane work, tested them when I got them. The LDraw is incomplete here and there. The mounting point of the trailer coupling was not good, fixed that. Also there was some flexing horizontally ate the point where the front and rear half are connected, fixed that to. Also finding the way to route all the pneumatic hoses will take some time. Have to order some at a site that sells it by the meter. Also have to spray paint the pneumatic cylinders white, because I want the crane to be as white as possible. And it is big!!! It is already 70cm long and with the wheel on the scale it is already at 1740 grams.
  10. Try it now, changed the privacy setting on it.
  11. https://m.facebook.com/christian.hagen.54/albums/1174590582569294/?_rdr#!/christian.hagen.54/albums/1175527535808932/?ref=bookmarks Here is an update from the build of my version of the Actros
  12. I am speechless, tho is a one of a kind beauty. Would love to build it, but just don't have the money. But what a engineering marble!!!!
  13. Would this bucket fit the P.F. Backhoe loader from Jurgen Krooshoop? I'm collecting parts for this beast also.
  14. In one word.....WOW
  15. It's me again, the one that always asks for instructions. I was always a fan of the 8109 set, but it is in a smaller scale than I like it to be. So here is my all time favorite question........any chance on instructions being made???? Would really love to have a recovery truck in a European style and in my second most favorite truck brand. The American style recovery trucks are to bulky. But that are most trucks there. Although I love the wreckers, the look better than the ones here in Europe.
  16. I don't like the cab, are you planning on making a better one?
  17. That's one of the problems I face every time, finding the money to buy parts in general. Buying collections of parts is very expensive, even every house mom knows what Lego parts are worth, so getting parts for a reasonable price is next to impossible. So expanding my parts collection that way is not easy.
  18. Well, I like building models with instructions. If You don't like that about people, then that is your problem. I do not have the time to spent days on building and rebuilding stuff. As I have mentioned many times, I'm a collector, not a builder. I love to see all those beautiful MOC's out there. Also yours, but I just can't build those from scratch. Forgive me for not being very technical. I can drive trucks and I do that very good, just don't expect me to build even a simple chassis of a truck. I'm busy collecting the parts for the old Actros from Sandman, those instructions are old and not complete, building that is already a challenge for me. And I'm planning on building a trailer for it MY SELF. it will be much like the tipping bed of the truck, but the rest I will build myself. Old Lego I can work with, new Lego not so much.
  19. Okay, but does it use a lot of the same parts as 42043 besides the cabin?
  20. Hello people, Is there another way to compare multiple TLG sets I own and want to dismantle with another TLG set. I am thinking of building the B-model truck of the 8285 tow truck and make it a 6x4.
