You want to tell me this fugly nexo knights are like trolls and dwarves castle. The only thing that the manager was right about are trolls but they are not in the set.

I personally think the middle section texture is way much better then a big gray wall. Also it's much more "sturdy" then the round plate technique that lately most people use as you don't really see threw the walls. The "nick" between bricks it's only about 1/3 stud deep so it's definitely windproof :P I'm not sure if it's really arabic style as the real castle walls aren't flat ether but even if so it fit on the border with lands full of sand. About the stud out parts, I upgraded them a bit I wanted to have destroyed walls on the outside and in much better condition inside. The upcoming wall attached to the Towers will have 3 sections at each side. Which give 12 visible walls :P and as I used a lot of DBG for my other project I'm a bit out of materials :)

Human nature I would say ;) Drinking water and not sharing is their way of life :P The wall will be separating dry lands from green lands :P Of course there will be some water there but the access will be really limited :) that's why they need to go on other side.

I fixed the images. The shield is from Hero Factory.

Windland Tower Checkpoint Border Crossing between Windland and Sandland that's the first line of defense against monsters trying to get to lands where water is free and for everyone. Wall will be attached on both sides of the building. One side is finished just waiting for another one.

I can swear I saw it a month ago. Looks nice, the only thing that's missing it's a helmet stand.

To be honest I like the first one too :) I see there few really nice techniques. Pictures are great and grass looks really awesome. I just don't get why you have so many technic bricks. If you use more then 4 pins on a side you will just destroy whole MOC when you will try to disassemble it :P

Awesome job. It's good to see you diversify your builds and do something except castle houses :) Roadster it's also not bad.

I don't know if you people know but first of all cheaper oil = cheaper ABS not opposite. Second of all LEGO is Danish and there is no factory in US only in Mexico, they don't use dollars there. So I don't really understand why merican currency will have anything to do with YEN prices. And remember that in US sets are the cheapest worldwide anyway, That's how they getting 30% more profit while rising sales by 18%.

Really nice build. Saw it yesterday and have definitely village look. Buildings looks really nice here. The LBG colors give it a "carved in the stone" look. I like it but you should work on the water, as it's the simplest and less interesting part of the build.

Looks awesome. IMHO handle could be a bit longer.(2 barrels longer:P). I'm not sure if you can grab it now.

Custom orcs my megablocks. Someone bought armors and weapons in Brickwarriors and hairs in Brickarms, put on lego LOTR orcs, painted with waterpaint and selling as his design. For 25 USD I made myself 15 "custom" minifigs. Just need to borrow paint from my daughter to make it more custom ;P I can sell my custom Viking for 19.99 with custom cape :P in anyone interested.

I personally don't mind if they renew selling old set (as i don't have it yet), but switching tree with bench and putting toilet bowl on the wall instead of 2x2 round plates and calling in "new" that's just sad. If we are doing remakes now, I want forest people, not some set that was 5 years ago.
-
Come one people there is a lot of difference comparing with old version. For example Christmas tree is on right and last time was on left. Also bench and street lamp is on left and last time was on right.

Thanks for all your comments :) To be honest that's first time I did 8x8 ;) It can be a bit high as I'm used to 16s but even they are sometimes to small for me :)

REVIEW: 71010 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14
Stelario replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Fugly. Good review but this series not worth a penny. -
One of the top rooms is taken by engine and battery pack :P the other one have staircase inside the building. There was and will be mechanism underneath central roof/wings, currently it's gone because need to decide the purpose of the construction first :) So that's the main place where I was planing most of mill's mechanisms :P

First I want to apologize for quite ugly pictures :) but my infant baby is not letting me to take better one :P Windmill is a main part of my Windland landscape which I'm designing from some time. Still didn't decided what should be inside :) 1. Throne room, with beds and books on a second floor. 2. Factory ex. Weapon 3. Steam-punk power plant :) 4. Library with books and tables for wizards. 5. Something else :P

This is totally messed up. How the king or other boss of Dragon fraction can have pants with lion emblem? That's so wrong.

Like L3gonut said, that's a transparent motorcycle rim. -
This is my entry for local LUG's competition. We had to build "Vehicle in your city". Size is based on my 1 year old daughter height ;P Front wheel is turning but unfortunately it's to fragile to ride :) Flickr

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, dedicated to the unknown soldiers who have given their lives for Poland. It is one of many such national tombs of unknowns that were erected after World War I, and the most important such monument in Poland. The Tomb is constantly lit by an eternal flame and assisted by a guard post by the Representative Battalion of the Polish Army. It is there that most official military commemorations take place in Poland and where foreign representatives lay wreaths when visiting Poland. And here picture of the original :)
