If you have a midget army without a single person with beard don't call it a dwarf army, it's simply just a hobbit army, teenager army. Why even bother with short legs that don't move? it's not like they are much cheaper then any other legs.

Agree don't look like dwarven army to much, more like teenager. I really like the pikes.

Fukuyo: warrior princess went to a pub one night :) As always there was a lot of lads hitting on her. Unfortunately one of them spiked her drink. When she waked up next morning world seamed huge, but in fact she shrink :P She took her axe and went on a journey to LiuLLiuputs temple to look for antidote. My MOC is micro version of LL's Liu Zhang Temple for local contest ;) Few Close-UPs

Stelario replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
I'm not really upset :P Biggest problem with this armor is hand movement which is terrible, but look is making up for it :) Best Luck in this season. -

You are right :) Unfortunately I didn't have matching colors. I need to get some silver armors :) I tried normal gold round plates 1x1 but they dont look as good as this "swirls" .

As I'm slowly building my fantasy/medieval environment i decided to prepare my first settler. Fukuyo: Warrior Princess Fukuyo is equipped with clan banner, Pole-arm which her ex-husband lost head over, One-Handed Axe from damascus and shield made from a Turtlesaurus shell. Hero own also shiny helmet, which she use from time to time usually when fighting dragons as she want to ruin her hairstyle. Full Gallery

Custom LEGO Jabba’s Palace, Droid Dungeon, and Rancor Pit
Stelario replied to djblank's topic in LEGO Star Wars
With all this extra minifigs it really look like Jabba is having a awesome party. It looks so natural i could swear its original set :P -
Don't really know in which theme it should be placed, but as all minifigs are from SW i hope it fit here. My small vegan MOC :P

Not bad but you could add a gear box ;P Also the corners could be a bit more round like maybe this I'm also not a fan of sticker lights :P but still better then original.

Lately I became a happy owner of few blue wheel from chima. The original vehicles are really simple build and looks like the body is made from only 1 piece. The wheels remind me bike from TRON, so I decided to build something similar. This wheels are so far my favorite, they are heavy, well build and roll forever. The only minus is the placement of studs in the back we have plate 2 studs wide and then 1 whole on each side of the tire. The problem is that the whole is between the studs line so it make a job a bit harder. Vehicle #1 I used Liftarm 1x11 but any Liftarm 1x7 and longer will fit. In fact you don't need to use it at all :P but I think it's nicer to cover wheels a bit. The driver unfortunately is half body as i wanted to use this window piece and couldn't make the bike 1 stud longer. In my first project I tried to use Bracket connected to the feet but then the front was 1/2 plate higher/lower so i had to abandon this idea. Instead of legs we have do Hinge Brick 1 x 2. Photos are average quality but I had to take care of my infant who is already hunting my LEGO's or screaming when she sees me holding any. Vehicle #2 I used Liftarm 1 x 9 Bent. This bike is a bit wider as I made it 4 studs wide in the driver section so this time he was able to keep his legs ;P There is 2x1x2 panel around arms so he could fit.

China Have active 3 million soldiers and 1.5 million Police and they only live on planet earth ;) So i don't consider 8 million clones army of whole universe Huge. About hitting targets nether Clones or Droids could hit a thing. I watched whole SW saga few weeks ago again and I feel like it's made for kids, and when they were making it movie business wasn't so corrupt like now. (they kill zombie not human so 6 years old kids will pay for tickets)

Finally some nice ninjago set. You have some "real" enemy you can use in MOC not robots that don't fit anywhere. And with this price looks like good way of getting nice pieces for collection. If i find it on discount probably will buy whole shelf.

Lego is doing really poor job with clones as the whole 748 million clons should have a face of Jango Fett. And they all should look the same.

120,000 Piece-The Hobbit-Rivendell Moc/Idea
Stelario replied to Ben Pitchford's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Stunning work, i like the waterfalls and the lights. Just this single leds looks a bit odd and i think you should go for a long tubes like the use to put under "pimped" cars or in PC's. BTW. can't believe ppl actually count how many pieces lego they used in their work. I was once making car for up to 300pcs competition and i get lost around 200 :P- 8 replies

Should new castles have (raised) blaseplates?
Stelario replied to Artifex's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I personally don't think BP are good. I have a lot and never use them ;P as u need to do magic tricks to connect them anywhere except letting them lay on the ground and they dont even fit to each other as they have round corners. 3D plates are even more useless as they are design only for 1 purpose. I would like something like was used ages ago a full brick hight plates http://brickset.com/parts/3007228 -
I really like the building mixed with the wall. Imho a bit to much grass, looks like no one walk around and the only use sidewalks.

I really like the roof of the wagon.
