Location: G02 Freegate Tags: Spying, Land Vehicle, Exploration Mission Log: I have been sent to Freegate to investigate a valley that remains unexplored. Actually according to our intelligence, it has been explored by Octan but none of their explorers ever returned. Despite Freegate’s typically cold mountainous enviroment, this valley seems artificially warm and tropical. Surprisingly there seems to be very little mithril in the area. Maximus and Maxxeene believe that a group that they have been tracking might be behind the disappearances. They have requested that Chogg not accompany on this mission either. That is the main reason I am talking to myself in this log. Chogg has been temporarily re-assigned to Hawk’s squad. I hope he can come back soon. I do have my new dinosaur friend to keep me company this week. I named him Elvis. He has proven to be a loyal companion. His terrifying roar has helped scare away several large predators already. - What is it Elvis? - Grrr grrr - You smell something over that ridge? - An Octan exploration truck. Wait! Really great terrain this week. I like the two slightly different colorings of the tree/cactus for the dried out version.
