Stunning MOC just stunning, everything about it blends together to make one amazing modular building. I hope you build more of these because they are beautiful. Wow that looks amazing, I was born in France so I have seen the Eiffel tower myself and yours looks quite realistic One more thing, what techniques did you use to scale it up

Heaven on earth :):):):):) I do not have any yet for I am mostly a star wars and train enthusiast, but with the ones I have seen I would like to get some for myself

I like Peter, he has a lot of detail

This is the upgraded cockpit and this pilot is thrilled with his new copilot... This is the new back landing gear(undercairrage) that can move up and down but does not retract yet. It is more spread out for safer landings.

Hello I would like to see the mods everyone has put on their cargo planes. I have installed flat tiles in the middle of the plane for there to be more room for the cargo. I have added winglets and moving levers in the cockpit for realism. So please share your mods. If you do not have this set you can share the other cargo planes and all lego city passenger planes. Thank you in advance. Some winglets for more realistic wings

That train looks a little like the yellow cargo train, I wonder what secrets it holds for all us railroad enthusiasts.

Hello everyone, i just unearthed some old 4.5 vilt trains from storage. Now I am not so sure what to build with them so could you please show some of your creations with 4.5 volt trains? One more thing is do 4.5 volt trains run on pf track as well as 4.5 volt track? Thx.

Maersk is so much better in looks. It has a more appealing build and a better result. One thing good about 60052 is that it has everything you need to run the train. Get the Maersk train.
-
I suggest not getting 60051. Get the 7938 red passenger train. It is much better and has more parts. I do not feel like listing all 60051's difficulties because I have many times before. If you really get into it get HE before it is to late. I do not agree with that statement. Lego has done a fine job with their track. ME Models track does not stay together well.
-
Wow, ME Models did a great job making these turns. They are very practical. Yesterday on a tight turn I did not slow my HE down enough and then it blew of the tracks. After that I had some major rebuilding to do. Luckily I always keep the instructions for all my Lego sets. The way I resolve this issue is to raise the outer edge of the turn to balance the train on the tight turns. I would buy ME Models track but I insist on being a Lego purist so I wi stick with Lego track.

Yes but for kids who want it working straight out of the box it might be disappointing. I personally like brick built because it makes Lego look like playmobil, but it is not that bad in looks. Everyone has their own opinions. If you live in the U.S. you will see less of these types of trains. 60052 is modeled after american cargo trains. Cargo trains like 7939 are more common in Europe so you might not be used to it. I certainly agree that the cargo is great. :)

I do not think that you should get one of these new city trains. The passenger train has many problems such as its horrible nose mold and derailing back bogie. It has a dissapointing platform as well. The cargo train is not so bad but the truck is tiny and the locomotive has to many big parts,The whole set does. If you want a city train get the 7938 passenger train which is much better and comes with more pieces and has no big nose mold. There is also the 7939. It has a beautiful locomotive as well as a bigger truck that can fit large containers. You are better of with the older city sets.

I do not think it is the greatest starter sets for the horrible 1 piece nose mold which makes lego seem like playmobil, the problem with the back trucks that makes the train derail, Battery pack problem. The platform is also not so amusing. I personally like the red passenger train from 2010. It had none of these issues and more pieces. It also has more seating room and was less expensive. I have it myself and think that it is a great starter set. The only downer about it is that it comes with flex track which you should exchange for straight track. The cargo trains from both 2010 and 2013 are good. But lego flopped on the new passenger train. You should also get the station. it fits well with the red passenger train. I hope this helps.

I really admire that system. I might build some train cars like that.

The blue cargo train and this one have close release dates compared to some other trains.
-
I agree with you. Its prices are getting sky high.
-
It really depends what you want. If you are willing to spend the money go for 9V. It gives lego trains amodel railroading feel. But PF does have its advantages such as being able to buy lots of track for a fairly cheap price. Also it is nice to control 8 trains on one remote. I like being able to power steam locomotives by their drive wheels. You do not have to worry about the current running out either. I say both are pretty good
-
I agree, I wish there would be a large variety of curves.
-
I doubt it because lego just fairly recently released power functions. I would like to see it stay at least for another 5 years because it is a pretty good system. If they do change it will probably be related to RC controllers. I hope they keep the train motor because it is quite strong, unless they convert back to 9 volt. That would be terrific because I missed out on 9 volt.. There is still a hope.

Old Rail Blue compatibility with new rail, my solution.

Hello eurobricks members and guests, I would like to know how to put lego train set gifs into your signature. Thx

Hello lego train enthusiasts, I finally got the Horizon Express. The reason is that I was born in france and the TGV is my favorite of all time so far and would like to know when it will be discontinued because on lego.com it says sold out. I also would like it if you could share some modifications that you put on your horizon express trains. Thx
