Hello everyone, When i got the 60116 ambulance plane I liked the set. But then I realized I could not put it in my layout. This was because i do not have an airstrip behind my hospital. After that I decided to turn the plane into a helicopter. I am sure alot of you are thinking "why in the world did he convert a plane into a helicopter since lego overloads us with helicopters anyway?" Now as a helicopter this vehicle will be able to land on my hospial and function prefectly wit my layout. I hope you like it! This is the general shape of the fuselage which i kept the same. The rotors are in my opinion the perfect size https://www.flickr.com/photos/153421859@N08/shares/ykJ461 This is the rear ramp to load and unload patients. Because of structural instability it can no longer open from the top as well. https://www.flickr.com/photos/153421859@N08/shares/AC61FZ Kai is being airlifted after burning off his hand in a fire accident. https://www.flickr.com/photos/153421859@N08/shares/45x0D9 This shows the detail of the engines and the cockpit. It is always mice to have extra detail with the engines https://www.flickr.com/photos/153421859@N08/shares/29PLn3 This is one last picture with the rotors spinning and ready for liftoff! I hoped you like it, thanks for all the support https://www.flickr.com/photos/153421859@N08/shares/B0190y -Legoboy22

Ideas for new Lego themes! (Non-licensed)
Legoboy22 replied to The lego fan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Get rid of Lego friends and split Lego city in 2. It could be one part for police and fire stuff and another part for everyday life. That would be amazing! Also I despise Lego freinds for its sexist nature. Those are my dream Lego themes -
That truly is amazing but even a 6 floor office building with 4 walls and a roof would be welcome.
-
Hello EB community, I am just wondering why Lego never releases a building above 3 stories high. I think even a 6 floor building would look like a skyscraper compared to what is currently available. It would have exellent playability maybe even with a helipad on top and offices or apartments. I am just curious about this do please post your opinions. Thank you in advance -legoboy22

I have started working on a small replica of the us capitol building in LDD that has an interior not to scale with the exterior. It has 2 chambers each with 9 seats each and a podium with flags. I am currently working on the roof with the dome. A pic will come soon

Thank you for your feedback and i have just made a bricklink account and will use it soon.
-
Thank you, but I would like to ask if brick link is as reliable as pick a brick. Normally I buy from Pick a brick but seeing the prices on bricklink it almost seems to good to be true such as a 1 by 6 tan brick for only 1 cent. I would like to know if it is safe and reliable. Thank you in advance Legoboy22

Hello everyone, I have decided that my Lego city needs a government building and I want to build either the Capitol building or the House of parliament. Do you have any tips o ideas on how to do this? Thank you in advance. -legoboy22

I agree, it is society that is broken but i do not want his child to be made fun of.
-
I reccomend against it because his friends will make fun of him because it is 'girly' and also because the minidolls are gender stereotypical. I strongly disagree with friends in general and am dissappointed with lego for even creating the theme
-
I do agree with you that city should include more neutral sets such as the aforementioned bakery but lefo freinds is also on the extreme. In my opinion the 2 themes soul be merged using the classic Lego minifigure but also including some more 'girly' sets. It could be given a new name if desired
-
The reason I assumed this is because none of the friend sets include anything such as a bank or construction stuff or any scientific things whatsoever. ThI leads me to believe that they are still reinforcing stereotypes.

Wow! That is an amazing MOC. I would not expect more from Lego itself. You have designed the best fire related vehicle in Lego that I have vet seen. Brick on!

Oh well, I was hoping that re friends line would be changed into more neutral colors and that they scrapped the mini dills for normal minifigures but I guess I was wrong.
-
The Lego friends are in high school? Then why are they allowed to fly commercial passenger jets??!!!!
-
A pizza truck would be a great addition to the great vehicles line. In my opinion it would bring a little more diversity to it. As for the freinds hot dog van, I think it could be decent if the color scheme was changed.

Um..... I guess? Mods, I think this account may be a bot. Please look into it. Thank you in advance

I has a theory that people are starting to realize that Lego friends are stereotyping girls and therefore do not want to buy them. His might be why their value is going down. Read this article for more information. http://www.ravishly.com/2015/09/18/gendered-toy-debate-why-lego-friends-bad-boys-and-girls It is my belief that lego friends will either drastically change for the better or be discontinued. So that is my opinion in why their value is so low.

i guess you are right but is it too much to ask that it has a back wall that can open up? Well I guess that would raise the price too much. Hmm...
-
It is a little funny how they are releasing a bank when the far superior brick bank was released last January. Nobody would buy it. They should have released much later when the brick bank is discontinued. Weird. Well I know one set I will not be buying...

Here is a quote taken from http://www.cllw.co.uk/attractions/miniland/animation.php "The cars, lorries and buses all appear to move and steer on their own, never leaving their set paths, yet not using any rails. How on Earth do they manage that? Beneath these paths are cables that emit a low-level radio wave specific to each vehicle - the vehicle picks up this signal, and uses it to steer. When the vehicle reaches one of the charging points dotted around it's track, it stops. One of the computers registers this, and a timer is started. When the timer reaches zero, the power to the charger is cut, and this signals the vehicle to continue along it's path. Outside park opening hours, the vehicles stop on the charging points and recharge fully overnight."

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Legoboy22 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I have seen that one as well. It is very nice and maybe it will be released as the next modular building. That would be a welcome surprise. By the way I am British too -
I think I have an idea. What you could do is what Lego does for legoland. You could use an electronic system to tell the car where to go on the road if you have enough space under your test layout.

The undercarriage and the nose are the best parts IMO and the entire train looks exactly like the real thing. Even if all the Lego designers teamed up they would get nowhere near this absolute perfection! This is such a beautiful replica and the decals bring it even more to life. I am dying to see this running with some freight cars behind in person!! This is truly a masterpiece. I am looking forward to seeing your works in the future.
