  1. Also I'm glad it's 3 stud shooters and not 2 because it does a better job of looking like a blower. Honestly I think it was a pretty smart way to integrate them without slapping them on the side or something. The overall build looks awesome and the flame placement on the side looks perfect. My only gripe is how the blast piece is used on the back wheel, it looks a bit odd and because it means it will have to be asymmetrical as there aren't 2 of those in a pack of blast pieces. Hopefully they use more of the blast pieces behind the back wheels to help sell the effect of them being on fire a bit better. It looks like the smaller blast flames and hand covering flames are used on the sides so perhaps the larger flame blasts are sticking out the back. I'm also curious if they gave him any accessories like the trans orange chain the last Ghost Rider got or perhaps a silver chain to help further differentiate the 2 characters. I'm kinda hoping the Hellcharger has a trunk with a little bit of space for his chain and maybe a wrench or something.
  2. I don't think either trailer is indicative of what we'll get in the set. The trailers were put together fairly recently and are intentionally anemic on the details. That said, if we get a proper set based on the Imperial Trasnport with a few new figures like Mando in full Beskar, an updated Grieff Carga and maybe the blue fish guy who's apparently coming back, I'd be super down with that!
  3. Fingers crossed! I'm really, really excited to get a better look at that figure and the set overall.
  4. Deluxe edition is only worth it if you really like the black and grey skins and the nameplates, otherwise no. I got the deluxe edition and didn't find it worth it personally.
  5. I got my entry in! It definitely sucks for people outside the US but I'm glad it's a con exclusive figure I'll actually have a chance at getting even if it's one of the least interesting to me personally. I would have much rather had a chance for the PS4 Spider-man from last year but hey, it's a decent looking figure.
  6. Hardly. You mean the main superhero the show is centered around is going to have an epic showdown at the end with the main villain of the show(both of which have appeared in the trailer) with lots of cgi? Shocking! Unprecedented!
  7. Watch the black suit is just a reuse of the stealth suit from homecoming... I'm personally hoping it's the anti-ock suit from the game to pair with what is hopefully a game inspired Doc Ock in the monster truck set. Then again, I also kinda hope it's not because that would literally be the only reason I'd consider getting the Spider lair set. Man does it look awful.
  8. I thought it looked like arm printing too but I wasn't sure, nice! The color on the black spidey suit looks more yellow to me which to me means it could be the anti-ock suit from the Spider-man game, especially if the Doc Ock in the monster truck set is indeed inspired by the game which it seems like it might be based on what little we can see of him.
  9. I'm pretty happy with how the car turned out and I fully expected it to be oversized and have exaggerated proportions. All of the "normal" LEGO vehicles I own are from the super heroes line so the exaggerated proportions fit right in lol so I really don't have an issue with it. I need better pictures before I judge the interior but it does look like he sits just barely high enough to peak out the window. I doubt you'll be able to fit a 2nd minifig in with him but at least he appears offset so he isn't in the middle of the car like so many City sets so at least there's a proper driver's seat. I'm really glad there's no side build I wanted them to put the parts count into the car and nothing else. For $20 I don't see how you could really expect a side build while having a proper car build. Speed Champions doesn't even do that, you get 1 car, 1 driver and maybe if you're lucky there will be parts budget leftover for a couple of road cones or a street sign. Here you at least get 3 licensed minifigs even if 2 of them are essentially repeats. I do agree that I would have rather seen a myriad of other villains over Carnage. Hell, Red Goblin would've been awesome and wouldn't require any new pieces. As it is though, I'm just glad it's not Venom.
  10. Based on what we can see, I definitely agree. The more I look at that set, the more I like it. It might end up being a buy. Honestly, if they threw in Deadpool and slapped a couple of food truck stickers on the side, I'd say this set would be killer. That vehicle is way more fitting for Deadpool. In fact, Marvel Puzzle Quest is putting out a new update with a new playable character that's Deadpool but possessed with the Spirit of Vengeance and his vehicle is a taco truck with monster truck wheels lol.
  11. They're barely sticking out from the left side of the image one of them is coming toward Spider-Gwen. I really hate how instagram works but you can zoom in better on mobile. From what little we can see they look good and definitely look like they're inspired by the video game. Also, I really like the use of that Hidden Side piece for Mysterio!
  12. New pictures just got added and we have an even better look at the Hellcharger. I see what they're doing with the flames on the side now, it's not a new piece it's just a combination of the super heroe blast effects. Not a fan of what they did with the back wheel, no idea what they were thinking there. I suppose it could work if they continue the flames past the back wheel to make it look like it's engulfed in flame. At least we can kinda see the printing on Ghost Rider's face though, definitely comic book inspired and looks pretty good.
  13. I love how they're using yellow flames for Robbie Reyes to help distinguish him from Johnny Blaze! Also, the mechs look pretty darn good, especially Miles Morales as it gives us a fantasftic Spider-verse version of the character. The Spider-man Hideout looks awful and the monster truck looks generic though I do find it interesting they went with something more along the lines of a food truck with monster wheels as opposed to the more traditional jacked up pickup truck.
  14. Well you better pick up the phone because I freakin' called it lol. I'm really happy with how the Ghost Rider set turned out. It's basically the Speed Champions SRT Demon with 3 stud shooters for the blower and I don't actually mind. It looks great and zooming in on the picture it definitely looks like a silver head on fire so it's definitely a proper Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider! Also, is that a new flame piece on the side of the Hell Charger?
  15. I think the bit underneath the cockpit of the shuttle might be a folded up boarding ramp. Maybe it has landing gear that just isn't being shown in the prelim to provide enough room for it to be folded down? Either that or it's the bottom half of the cockpit and the top half is supposed to come down farther over it kinda like how some past shuttles have been and somebody just didn't push it down all the way for the prelim picture.
  16. I was thinking the same thing though it seems most of the preliminary pictures from that catalog don't show any figures. I will say if they show the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider as a stand-in it won't exactly quell my concerns for the final product. If anything it'll make me more nervous until we get more finalized pictures.
  17. The X-Wing looks fantastic and the TIE looks even better now that we can see it more clearly. The Imperial Shuttle also looks really good. Too bad we didn't get a glimpse of the Mando set but it probably wasn't in there. I definitely appreciate the downsizing while still maintaining a high level of detail. I'm willing to spend $40 on a good TIE and $50 for a good X-Wing but when they've been about double that for awhile it's been utterly ridiculous. Btw, I must say I like the redesign to the nose of the X-Wing.
  18. Same here! Hopefully the Marvel sets leak, I'm dying to see how the Ghost Rider set turns out!
  19. Robbie's design is super simple so I'm sure they can handle it. I'll be furious if they just reuse Johnny Blaze. It's a completely different character so it would be way more egregious than the Iron Spider situation. For a Fin Fang Foom set, I would hope they consult the Ninjago team to see how to do proper brick built dragons. I wouldn't expect to see it in a set but the leaks about a certain other dragon in the film is super exciting. Imagine though, 2 Shang-Chi sets one with a big green brick built Fin Fang Foom and another with a big red Shao Lao!
  20. I'm more excited for Shang-Chi personally. There's just as much potential for great figures and I'd bet money we'll get a brick-built Fin Fang Foom which would be insanely awesome! The more we find out about Shang-Chi, the more excited for it I get. I initially thought it would be a waste of a film slot but with all the characters rumored or confirmed to be involved and the whole Dragon Ball/Mortal Kombat/Enter the Dragon-esque tournament fighter thing they're going for sounds incredible. The only exciting things about Eternals for me is the Black Knight and the Celestials.
  21. Ghost Rider by far. After the first Ghost Rider set, Robbie's Hell Charger was the set I've wanted most from this theme so I'm incredibly hyped for it! If you can't tell, I'm a Ghost Rider superfan haha. Rest of the Spider-man sets sound boring with rehashed uninteresting figures. The mechs might be kinda interesting.
  22. Kro would likely be brick built given the very nonhuman design. I like it. With more info on the Spider-man Hideout it sounds pretty disappointing and the figures are mostly re-uses with the black suit being Miles Morales and the gold suit being Iron Spider. The 3rd suit is apparently similar to the standard one. Apparently somehow the Goblin Glider is worse than the ones they've done before. The builds don't sound great either with a basketball hoop and a skateboard ramp for some reason.
  23. If they're going to keep giving us a hundred Venoms a year can they at least make one of them a bigfig? Please? Also, Lizard, Rhino and Kingpin are loooong overdue. I'm starting to really worry that they'd actually be stupid enough to just throw in the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider instead of giving us a proper Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider that actually belongs with the Hell Charger. I'm going to be worrying about it until we get more concrete info/pictures. Surely they wouldn't be that brazenly lazy right? Right?....
  24. I'm still salty about them canceling the Ghost Rider series too. Spider-man being thrown in was a given but Carnage is an unfortunate repeat. You make a good point about Red Goblin and that would be awesome but I wouldn't count on it, especially with this theme's track record That said, all I want from the set is a Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider and a decent looking Hell Charger, anything else is just bonus after that. I seriously doubt they'd shove in the exact same Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider in this but if they do you better believe I'll come down on them with the rage of a thousand suns. It sucks everything else for the other sets are just complete rehashes. At least Dock Ock sounds like a new variation and given the Spider-cave seems to be heavily based on Into the Spiderverse it wouldn't surprise me if we get the ultimate Green Goblin in bigfig form but of course I wouldn't hold my breath.
  25. It's definitely a cool display but asside from the nameplate, doesn't offer anything exclusive like the Marvel set. 2 exclusive figures and a bunch of exclusive prints....
