  1. nice MOC i like it a lot, It's a boxer engine not a V-shaped
  2. yeah it holds just enough, sadly my XL-motor is to weak to pull the 2trailers with my 42030 on the goosneck
  3. this may be a to strong current: Normall alkali batteries are 1.5, so a batterybox with alkali batteries would be 9V With these it would be 9.6V, only way to know this is to test it
  4. HY after a week i finally had the time(and weather) to shoot some outdoor pics here are my 42043B with moc trailer, 42030, 8043 and my gooseneck trailer DSC_0025 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr DSC_0027 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr it doesn't touch but it bents a lot. SO @Ed-orange I beat you :D DSC_0050 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr DSC_0046 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr DSC_0029 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr to not give to much pictures, more pictures here: https://www.flickr.c...6413@N05/o8i33w edit: add pic's
  5. i think the rear is a little bit weird, those cuved pannels on the side should be mounted vetically not horizontally
  6. maybe you can use cord and rubber bands to make it work, use the cord to pull it down and the rubber bands to make it pop open when u loossen the cord
  7. now use the main part and build the B-model around it
  8. just holding up the curved pannels the springs are 6.5 studs, 7 would look to long and 5 and 7 would be to short
  9. nice maybe another vid in the snow
  10. he said that to me, that posts-argument is totally out of question because i have more posts than him. The random builder thing, he just meant someone who just builds with lego and doesn't really know about these loaders seconded
  11. you could maybe use the bucket of the 8043 in front. good progress so far
  12. awsome keep going i like it, can't wait to see the bodywork
  13. hy today when using my LA for my detachable goosneck lowboy trailer, i noticed the metal rod was turning around the head of the actuator( piece with pinhole and axlehole). Because of this my LA doesn't move in or out in my construction. the codes on it are 61927 and 17X9 Is it best to call/e-mail LEGO or are there other solutions where i won't loose my LA for weeks? Thanks, TNLD here a pic of the piece i'm talking about
  14. so you say its a good investment
  15. the uminog is a great model for modders like me i bought mine a year ago for €200 and i loved it. Made it RC drive and went of to the forest. the arocs isn't you don't have much place to make it better or you would have to get rid of the pneumatics and the gearbox
  16. I really want those tubler tires but isn't it a bit expensive to pay €120 for those 4 tires and the extra parts
  17. I really liked the review of the sets. i am planning on getting the chopper becausei like it a lot but the biggest question is i would like some tumbler tires but is it better to buy the set twice even if the set isnt you're style
  18. you'll have to wait some time, when i was able to shoot some pics it was already to late :( mine could have some improvement to but i'm working on that.
  19. damm seconded here's mine in preview, making daytime pics tomorow luckally my lowloader doesn't need support 42043 B aditions by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr
  20. do you want to carry them at the same time?. i have now the perfect size for 8043 or my dumpertrailer. for the 42030 you could use my version but you have to make it longer
