  1. All money to Bob please. Also, once my credits clear through, can we please get Goatman a Bag of Fertilizer? Thanks.
  2. I believe the tag is "civil building". Nice exterior shot, I like the wig on the robot. Hope you get it all wrapped up!
  3. Yeah, a less dark and dirty Mos Easley though. Great story as usual. Some really nice detailing like the floor pattern and the rock'em sock'em robots. The holoscreen was very nicely edited in, subtle and not distracting.
  4. Whatever facility Hombre is at in the initial pictures is somewhere I want to visit! I like how you guys are tying the stories together. Great collaboration! Always good to hear from Hombre!
  5. Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Land Vehicle, Civil Building, Spaceship, Spying, Stealth Ship Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // I had talked to our awesome CEO pombe and after discussing the merits of the extraction of Dr. Norah he had authorized the use of a stealth ship to aid in her extraction. This would not only allow us to keep her safe, but also would prevent any issues with Kawashita that had a major presence on Arium Major. It was very exciting that it was all happening! It was also super scary to have to reveal the truth. Initially Dr. Norah was shocked and didn't believe that I could be from Octan. She said it didn't make sense as I'd been picked up on Guinevere and Octan hadn't ever been there! I told her that despite being a scientist I was doing investigative work on Guinevere in a secretive fashion. She said "So you are a spy?" I told her I definitely wasn't a spy, I had no training in such things! She insisted that I let her leave and that she was going back to Mantis ASAP. I knew it was the shock of it all and that she wasn't thinking clearly so I told her that it would be for the best for her to come to Octan. She very quickly seemed to change her mind and agreed it would be for the best. I told her that we would get her safely to Farmolis and set her up with her own lab facilities. I said that she would be very happy there and she agreed. I was so relieved and super happy that this was going so well. It seemed like the more I talked to her the more she calmed down and came around to my thinking. ED-208 was going to stay with her and keep her safe. He would also aid her once on Farmolis and assist in her transition to Octan. Overview:
  6. Love most all of it. The one thing that still seems off (maybe just a cultural thing) is the water pumps. I focus too much on the yellow heads. But the chemical cans, chainsaws, ATV, everything else is fantastic. I just find that the water pumps I'm not seeing, maybe the yellow head is a bit too iconic, if they were blue or something it might work better. I'll go find this on Ideas.
  7. It's a bit much. Haha, just kidding. I like the clean interior aesthetic, seems very fitting for a firm like that. You did a great job carrying through the outside elements into the interior without being repetitive. The atrium works really well, the one slight tweak I would make for future pictures is to have more light coming down from above so it gives a sense of the height and the openness in contrast to the floors that would block the light. The little touches outside are clearly well thought out and I like how shiny the tiles are. Great work!
  8. Bob, if we could please get Lucas a tag. Thanks!
  9. Funny part is I actually liked it. Seemed a bit cool to have it non-standard. Like the front was all monitors or something and the windows were more for scenery gazing.
  10. All money to Bob please.
  11. Great landscape and you used the lighting really well. Even Lu's expression seems perfect for her mood.
  12. I like the design of the ship and the variable geometry wings. I was confused at first seeing the cockpit setup, but I think that is just that you put it on backwards for those photos. I like the color variety of the landing pad too, helps break it up from being just a gray mass.
  13. Seems fine now...
  14. Bob, after scores were posted I believe someone forgot to hit the update fleet position button. The map is 1 week behind.
  15. There is no Weekly build requirement. Just as a heads up AG1 is ending in the next couple months and then AG2 will start a little while after that.
  16. Glad to see an Hombre appearance! Love the dialogue this week, especially the end. The fighter is very well done and the reverse color scheme still works well together. I like the big gun on the one side and nice that Tracy fits so well in the cockpit. Really good use of the roll cages for the wing connectors.
  17. ED: Sue, you know you can't bite with a ball-gag in your mouth!
  18. I like the control center setup and the overall feel and especially dig how you did the stairs up to the rift thing. Great use of pombe and his 4th wall breaking. The one bit of bad news is that despite the map not being updated, our fleet is on F09 this week.
  19. Northeastern US. It only feels like Canada. Or the Arctic.
  20. I like the robot (used to love those tentacle arms with pincer as a kid), but the sand castle was my favorite part. Reminds me of a day at the beach which would be nice if it weren't 14F outside today.
  21. Well you see, Feleia has a bit of a drinking problem... Amazing build, love the variation in the terrain and the small homestead feel to it all. Nice use of dialog to capture interest in the characters. Great work!
  22. Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Land Vehicle, Civil Building, Spaceship, Spying, Stealth Ship Previously... ED-208 0403817:LOG After receiving word of Kodan's reason for disappearing I was requested to make my way to Arium Major. I'd been on the planet before and knew that I would be returning to the Ter Tahls. This didn't displease me as they were quite tolerable as a species. I decided to take my personal fighter that I'd been working on: Bitey. Kodan had sent word that he was attempting to ex-filtrate a Mantis scientist that he felt would be useful to Octan. I didn't care, it mostly meant getting to test out Bitey some. I would keep this scientist safe until back in Octan held territory and then it would be someone else's problem. It was a disappointment that we wouldn't be attacking anyone so I wouldn't get to test Bitey's weapons, but the ship was fast and agile and performed flawlessly. Tor Tuss greeted me warmly upon my arrival. I'd wait for word from Kodan to introduce myself so as not to scare this Mantis person. They aren't as used to robotic assistance and still relied heavily upon humans. Maybe that is why Octan controls so many planets. Bitey from every angle:
  23. We have me, Thaum, Brickwolf, Goatman, Lucas, Bob, pombe, sometimes Zaael, sometimes mediumsnowman... and other occasional drop ins.
  24. Whoa, love the Kawashita supervisor's quarters and the limp figure hanging from the jumper! Fantastic as always. I like how the story is progressing also and nice to see the inclusion of other Octan folks!
  25. I like the drones and like the lab, it seems like there are a lot of stations with cool little bits. Do you have more overall shots of the lab? For instance I liked the doors to the lab as they are not of a style I've seen people use before, they are more of the double swing restaurant style for lack of a better description. I had Kodan building drones way back when but haven't done any in a long while. I should make some more, those were fun. The one with the circle dishes reminds me a bit of a HK from Terminator.
