  1. Reminds me some of a dragster. You do a great job of incorporating the large wheels/tires into your build, I often feel when I'm building with them that they seem oversized. I love the look of this and Bob clearly has a thirst for speed.
  2. All my money to Bob please.
  3. Location: C10 Marden Tags: Land Vehicle, Civil Building, Spaceship, Spying Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // Norah came to me and asked for my assistance in a mission that she felt I could help with. There was a secret Kawashita facility on Marden that Mantis wanted information on and she felt that I could gain access to this facility since she had gotten to know me lately and felt confident in me. While I was a bit apprehensive I did want to help and I wasn't quite sure how to say no without it being odd. She clearly thought I was an operative because she returned my outfit from when they had originally extracted me and got me onto a Mantis ship. Luckily the planet was under Mantis control so it wasn't very hard to get there. They dropped me off close to the facility and gave me directions on how to get there. I was surprised that they didn't give me any credentials or anything other than a name: Ken Barns. Norah told me that if I told the Kawashita people I was there from corporate on an inspection tour it would all go fine. I was quite dubious and yet I felt that I had to trust her. As I approached the perimeter of the facility multiple security people approached and demanded identification. I had seen them request both identification and biometric scanning of everyone to gain entry and I was suddenly quite nervous since I had neither. But I stuck to the plan and said that my name was Ken Barns and I was there from corporate for an inspection. Amazingly the guards said "Oh. Yes, go ahead." and they let me in. I was supposed to go to the main building and locate the primary hangar. Once in the main building I found someone and said I was looking for the main hangar. They gave me a suspicious look but I quickly said I was there from corporate for an inspection and they smiled and gave me directions. Upon arrival at the hangar I saw many people doing various work tasks on a spaceship. It was clearly a prototype craft and was impressive looking. One of the scientists working on it came over to me and said "Hey, who are you? What are you doing here, this is a highly classified area!" I said "Hi, I'm Ken Barns. I'm here from corporate for an inspection." and they said "OK, look around then. Let us know if you have any questions." I wasn't sure if it was the Ken Barns name or just that corporate inspections were to be expected, but it was like a magic key! I looked around at the craft and found out it was called the "Tropic Thunder" which was a bit of a play on the snowy conditions on Marden. It was a high speed and agile craft meant for recon. The prototype was currently unarmed but the production version would be lightly armed. It was a very impressive craft and I was going to have to file a report back to Octan also. Mantis had given me a small computer for notes, pictures, and to file a report. I knew it would be monitored, so I made a slight configuration change to bounce off of a relay station that Octan had compromised and was monitoring. This way while I couldn't keep Mantis from gaining this intel, I could at least make sure Octan also was aware. This was all getting so complex. At first I was just an Octan guy pretending to be a Mantis guy. But now I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude. At least I'm fortunate that my cover stories keep proving so strong! 4. I really love the design of the building inside and out. Has a really fun vibe like a Lego advertisement for an official set. Great work!
  5. Love the truck and the bows on the lamp posts. A lot of nice touches like the mugs hanging on the wall, the chocolate fountain and the moving wreaths! Would definitely buy this set!
  6. Really enjoyed the truck and the architecture of the building. The part that stood out the most to me was the detailing on the snow. It really felt so accurate and organic in how you did it, definitely the most impressive part for me. Really lovely.
  7. Great detailing throughout and has a wonderful warm holiday feeling. It feels like an antique family heirloom in style. Congrats!
  8. Really enjoyed this one, the color choices worked really well and were also blocked out to pop. The interior doesn't feel too cramped and the teapot is well designed. Great work!
  9. 1 7 12 14 16 Very hard to select which ones. Took me a lot of time looking at each one and really enjoying them. So many fine details and attention paid to everything. Congrats to everyone!
  10. Beautiful and so curvy, but has the imposing heavy guns. I wonder if you considered different trans-light blue parts like the 1x2 grill sort or 1x1 round tile? It is just such a smooth ship overall that the studs on the engine seem a bit out of place. Great color blocking too. Another classic from Bob!
  11. Really great speeder, especially love the side vents on the trailer. Nice utilitarian look to it.
  12. You have a LOT of hood pieces. I think I have like 5 total. The speeder bike is great and it and the character have such a great Kawa feel to them. I loved the dialog and CLAPPIE continues to entertain. When he told him " Shh... don't be afraid. It's like falling asleep." I totally did it in what I imagine CLAPPIE's voice sounds like.
  13. I love the hidden features! So much easier to make a nice ship with lots of cool greebles when you don't have to care as much about the interior, but a ship with interior too makes it much harder. The color usage is great with the various large block segments and then the stripes that break things up too. Definitely feels like a classic space set that is thoroughly modernized!
  14. I like the use of the levers as broken wires/pipes. That is a well built couch to survive such a crash! Must be made with usual Octan quality...
  15. I like the beefy truck. I think on that 4 long brick with studs on the side at the rear of the truck you maybe could have stuck some trans-red "brake lights", but overall the truck is solid and nicely detailed. Cool sliding secret door and security camera setup. For some reason that Milhouse head seems to work well here!
  16. Haha, funny idea! Hope they aren't too successful though...
  17. Very smooth and powerful looking. The front suspension looks great and it is well thought out to have the narrower tires at front for steering and the wide rears for getting the power down.
  18. Lol, I had USB in there originally then changed it. Go with your gut! I think it is a combo of angle and color that made me think wolf. Now that you say horse I can see it.
  19. The outdoor scene is lovely with the foliage, but the wolf head and pen, paper, and Necklace... my god. Gorgeous. Wouldn't be surprised to see this on TBB!
  20. Nice, I like that it looks good in both spaceship and land mode. Well thought out! Plus nice to see some Mantis builds!
  21. Great planes, you just need a red one with Snoopy at the controls.
  22. Bob if we could procure a Metal Eater for Octan Employee Zaael that would be excellent. Thank you!
  23. Location: F03 Forring Tags: Land Vehicle, Civil Building Previously... // PERSONAL DIARY // Norah has continued to spend a lot of time with me. She really is super and I've greatly enjoyed her company. I only wish we were back with Octan and she wasn't a member of a rival corporation. I'm constantly struggling to not tell her the truth and I must always be on guard not to slip up. She asked me to join her on a visit she was taking to a nearby Octan facility that had been abandoned when Mantis took over control of Forring. I hadn't been to this specific facility before, but I was aware of it. It was simply a logistics hub for spare parts and other rather mundane items. We took some really cool Mantis scooters that were lots of fun to drive. They were small and agile and quite simple; I'd certainly have to attempt to recreate these upon my return to Octan! We arrived at the loading dock area and found some crates and a loading vehicle. Octan had removed all items of significant value before pulling out of the facility, but Norah still wanted to look around. She asked me questions about the facility which I did my best to answer since it wasn't very secret anyway. Some of the questions seemed odd, but maybe she was trying to just flex my brain after my recent incident. I did have a weird nagging feeling like I was being watched, but it could just be all the hidden security cameras at the Octan facility. Spending time with Norah has really been enjoyable and I hope that I continue to get to spend time with her. I still have to figure out how to "escape" back to Octan and ideally bring Norah with me. I'm not even sure how I would start that conversation let alone convince her. For now I'm just doing my best to not slip up and reveal myself as an Octan person! 24. That is the finest toilet mech I've ever seen! I like the mini ship too, great use of Thor's hammer.
  25. A great achievement for our corporation. We thank all our employees for their dedication that has allowed us to make sure fantastic technological breakthroughs!
