LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Dragonlego27 replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The bright red bricks on one side of the TFAs tie fighter cockpit make a lot more sense after watching that. It was nice to see Kylo Rens ship properly too. Really hyped for the film. And the January sets! Really hoping Kylo comes with a mask, and if not that he has a cool sith appearance. -

Really disappointed there isn't a new Inquisitor in the Kanan set, just a new pilot variant. They've just fully revealed Seventh Sisters face as well, so it seems like a missed opportunity. Still praying Ahsoka will feature in the A Wing The rebels battlepack is unmissable for me, with the new Duros head I'll be able to update Cad Bane into a more friendly variant. The rodian looks good as well, and does one of the rebels have a new peice around his neck? The Carbon Freezing chamber looks much more displayable than I'd hoped, looks like I better prepare myself for another Han Solo. Thanks for whoever posted this, I can't wait to see the rest! -

I heard on 4chan that one had red printing to represent a shock trooper, however that may not be true and I view you as a much more trustworthy source CM4Sci, so we'll see... These sets sound alright to me, but nothing groundbreaking so far, I'm mostly excited to see the TFA and Rebels sets. More dark side characters here we come! -

Hopefully the hero battlepack comes with at least two helmeted resistance troops (like the hasbro figure) rather than the generic rebels in the Transporter set. -

Although I would love a battlepack like this (Ugnaughts!) I have one problem with the set: the lone stormtrooper. Lego have not usually had three figures of one faction and one of the other in a battlepack. Unless the Bespin Guard and stormtrooper pick on the stormtrooper XD -
Somehow the idea the reveals today is making the wait worse. Judging from where I live, it'll probably be revealed at 3AM or something, so I'll only find out tomorrow. Still really excited to see how they pull off the TARDIS. Moulded daleks here we come!

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Dragonlego27 replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'll probably wait until an mcu thanos, as I prefer the darker/more muted colours of the minifigures and the sets. To me, a purple and gold thanos is much more desirable than a yellow and blue thanos. I'm really hyped for the Ca:cw sets. Hopefully crossbones has a moulded helmet and there's a new variant of Vision, as the quinjet never appealed to me that much. -

Sorry to bother you after so many questions Hulk-Smash, but there were two different Jawa variants in the Sandcrawler. Did the jawas in Droid Escape have different torso prints, or the same? -

Shmi sounds plausible after all this time, I'm not so sure about the two-headed alien. Maybe of they included some of the stands as well? They have repeatedly done that lately, with the landing stuff in the naboo starfighter and the new Tfa X Wing. What I'd like is more secondary podracer, remakes of gasgono and alder beedo perhaps? They were all quite memorable and we always need more aliens in star wars Sets! -

I'm actually a fan of the Prequels and even I don't find that funny. On another note, out of all the sw polybags I have only ever got Revan, but it looks like Threepio will be my second, he's too good to miss -
Nekchir, "companions of Darkness" doesn't sound like golems, are there any other evil minions, aka like the shadow soldiers from Lego Universe, in this wave? I wasn't so sold on the evil jester idea but that set sounds, lmao, like the best set of this wave so far. The idea of flaming rocks and a load of lava monsters sounds like it could have a lot of use elsewhere

Meh, I don't actually mind about the ban. It's likely the speculation about the sets would have grown stale: it was already getting to the point where we were examining minuscule areas between a helmet and a minifigures shoulders to see what type of head they had. I'm not trying to insult anyone's efforts, but I for one am happy to leave some things as a surprise for one I go to the shops, see the sets in person, buy them and build them, finding all the play features I had no idea existed. Actually leaving some things as a mystery actually increases my hype for the sets, so I can see where Disney and TLG are coming from. -

The Falcons a definite buy to me, as I didn't purchase the 2011 version. Pretty much the same for the X-Wing, although I may wait for a discount. I had high hopes for the Transporter, and although I found the finalised design slightly jarring, it's growing on me. I'm still on the fence about the snowspeeder and the tie fighter, the snowspeeder because it's boring and the tie fighter because, although it's a nice set, there's just not enough incentive for me to buy it and nothing to put it above "Meh" The Command Shuttle is also a definitive "no" just because it's so much, and although I like almost all the minifigures, however the ships just not interesting enough and I'm still not a big fan of the FO crew. I'll buy Reys Speeder if I have a spare £20 lying around, but I'm also trying to catch up on the last couple of battlepacks, so... -

Although I think it's too soon for another Homing Spidee Droids, hopefully it'll include a new Jedi variant. I'm hoping for a redesigned clone Wars Jedi such as: Aayla Secura, Shaak Ti or Lumerina Unduili. I think Kanan's Speeder is likely to include Kanan (obvious, I know) the new male Inquisitor and maybe Sabine with a new hair print or a stormtrooper, while the A-Wing will hopefully have a Rebels A-Wing pilot with a B-Wing helmet, an older Ahsoka Tano and maybe Zeb Orellius I'm not at all interested in the hoth sets at all, am looking forward to the Carbon Freezing set and am intrigued by the TFA sets and battlefront battlepacks. Bring on the pics! -

Code names are generally weird, but by the looks of the set list this could be the finalised name. On a lighter note, Jar's Jar's great adventure cracks me up every time I read it. And I'm pretty sure that eventually formed the basis for several Clone Wars episodes XD We've already had two young Anakins this year and a Watto, making his podracer seem doubly unnecessary. The rest of the wave looks promising though, excepting the lack of Rebels sets. It really seems to be receiving the hard shoulder by lego, and I hope we some sets in the summer, before Rogue 1. There's so much Season 2 content we need to see in brick former! -

Hall of Mirrors is the least star-wars-sounding name I've ever read. It's probably from TFA, so might be our chance to get Old Luke and a second Kylo Ren figure. It'll probably be something to do with destiny, the force or "see yourself as you really are. Look at your reflection" rubbish -

This set list looks amazing, and I'm definitely intrigued by the Battlefront battlepacks. OT Stormies anyone? Obi Wan's Interceptor could be good, it's a chance to get the Utupaun Prime Minister or finally a proper Commander Cody minifigure It's hard to tell if the Pirate Shuttle is going to be Maz's, or the Kanjiklub's, but either way it should be interesting. The only gripe I have with this is the lack of Rebels sets. I need the new Inquisitors! And Ahsoka! -

C3PO has a red arm in The Force Awakens. Also, although I'll look forward to seeing other TFA figures in January, I hope they'll leave some of the wave for Rebels sets: a new non-cw Ahsoka, the Inquisitors, Darth Vader... I really hope there's a second reasonably priced set with Kylo Ren as well Edit: oops, ninja'd by Fives! -

There's two "Resistance" (that name is the only thing I dislike about TFA so far) troopers in the First Order Transporter, so there'll probably be at least two in the battlepack. Then maybe a generic X Wing pilot and ground crew so it complements two sets, or more if there is a resistance base playset somewhere along the pipeline. How trustworthy is this site? Although I don't doubt there's going to be a "hero" battlepack, it could just be an educated guess to attract more readers, as no one would be able to prove them wrong if a set following that description was to be revealed - "hero battle pack" is pretty generic. I'm just taking this news with a pinch of salt as I haven't come across this website before and have no idea what their source is. -

Rey's minifigure is phenomenal in how detailed it is Brilliant choices made there I won't comment on the black figure, as I seriously doubt its finalised. However, that Unkar Henchman.... It's face just looks so creepy, yet not intimidating at all. It definitely seems enough to warrant buying the Speeder, at least after a discount. I definitely need to see Kylo Ren's minifigure now, I really hope he comes with a uniquely moulded hood piece with the mask attached, and a normal minifigure head underneath, perhaps with sith eyes or something. Even though I'll probably wait until the January Wave when another set containing him is released... -

It's a real shame Kylo Ren comes in the only set I don't wish to get, but given how prominent he appears to be, it's to say he'll appear in the winter wave. I'm really sold by the X Wing colour scheme, and the minifigures are a nice bonus, meaning it's gone from a set I probably wouldn't get to a set I probably will get. I will definitely get the Falcon set, as I never got the 2011 variant. The munifigures are also nice additions, although none of them completely blow me away. The First Order transporter has always attracted my interest, and the selection of minifigures seem very interesting. I look forward to seeing Kylo Ren the most, as it's possible his hood and mask are both one peice, which could look pretty awesome. My wallet is doomed -

What's also interesting is that, even though SDCC is earlier this year, there hasn't been a set reveal from the winter wave. In probably wouldn't even have had to be from TFA: I was hoping on seeing a set from Series Two of Rebels. Really like the pilot, the breathing apparatus tube is a nice touch. -

It looks like the seller's got the prices for the speeder in plastic bags, although I could be wrong. Hopefully we'll get to see that soon and find out if a third minifigure is included. I like the Rey figure, although I think her headpiece is more useful elsewhere. A cantina patron perhaps... -
Cyberman battlepack hype! Lego has to do that at some point, the minifigure looks made for it Not so sold on the dalek though, I was really hoping it would only be partly brick built There seems to be no one the set can flop though, I really hope it's successful enough to warrant more sets
