  1. It's going to be hard to say no to this set from what I've seen so far. The monifigures look interesting, most of the builds well done and the overall set will probably be very desirable. I'm probably most interested in the droids at the moment, as the other figures look to be either the main characters, which I won't say no to but have gotten them already, to the soldier figures, which will be available in a battle pack at some point Edit: really good point namoik, I too would like a at St, although I hope it will be a £20-30 set in the winter wave as it means we could get some interesting imperial or ewok minifigures as well
  2. Really looking forward to that prospect, the Snowtrooper minifigure looks epic and the idea of being able to collect them in a battlepack in January is such an exciting prospect. The Tie Pilot looks fairly well done as well, but because of it's colour I can't seem to make out much detail.
  3. Phasma's helmet looks even better than it did in the images! I love it how the minifigure does slightly remind me of an original stormie. It looks like such a great minifigure I'll have to buy it. The idea of army-building white versions of this makes me so excited
  4. No, the star wars seven and constraction sets will be released in September, while its safe to assume we will also see a normal sized winter wave in January
  5. What if they just make sure the Kylo Ren has no non-mask head and ensure that a minifigure of his alter ego has no links to the sith figure, especially since his mask will be probably be printed. I hope you're not right about Phasma though... So far, the star wars 7 wave is looking pretty strong, even with the slightly uninteresting Starfighter. I hope the rest if the minifigures look as good as Phasma and BB8
  6. Geobrush edited all his posts containing the pics, so it appears he's been forced to remove them.
  7. Apologies, I thought the posts above were referring to only the plumber peice, which can also be seen as a bowl, as they did not mention the peice i brought up specifically, but I know realise they were discussing both peices. As for its size, it seemed smaller than a normal astromech head when I saw the picture of the peice on Brickset. I will read above posts more thoroughly before contributing in future. Going back to the BB8 figure, I like the level of detail it has on its head and look forward to seeing the full body. It's really nice that lego seem to be diversifying with their astromech figures, such as chopper, the droid with the transparent head and now BB8. It's exciting to think that in the pile of bricks for the speeder there might be a Rey and even another TFA minifigure in there! I really hope we see more pictures soon. That's what i thought the head was as well. That's a great idea and I love how much detail you went into. The diagram helps as well
  8. My brother thought it might be part 6058218, the bowl peice used in the simpsons house, and after close comparison I think he may be right. I have no idea how it would attach to the other peices though... Thoughts?
  9. The helmet seems somewhat taller than I would have thought, rather like the Phase 2 helmet mould, but it's a minor quibble and I look forward to seeing the minifigure without a helmet and in high definition
  10. I'll probably purchase this set, if I have the money after TFA, instead of the Utupau Troopers BP. I believe the build in this set is better (although it is my private belief that that doesn't take a lot) and prefer the camouflage pattern to the slightly garish orange of the other battlepack. 11. Great review Ramadalis! I wasn't such a fan of this set, but the elemental version of Kai and the opportunity to purchase the golden sword cheaply are quite enticing. Will you be reviewing any others if the series? I was thinking of buying the Morro set.
  12. Lupita N'Yong's character was revealed a couple of weeks back, uf you Google it you'll see that she'd make for a unique minifigure Personally, I'd prefer more alien figures in Lego sw which were roughly humanoid but didn't fully consist of minifigure peices, like the early Alder Beedo, Sebulba, General Greivous or the uniquely shaped figures from the lego TMNT franchise, for even more diversity. Onto the leaked ship design, I like the direction lego is going in with this kind of design for the Sw sets, I quite like the ship desig, but won't purchase it if its the set with the £100-120 price point. I'd hoped it'd be £80 at the most
  13. It's great for those of us who will possibly be able to get normal minifigures of Clone Wars characters now though. I loved the series, but hated the cartoony style of the minifigures. The prospect of getting Ahsoka and Honda as minifigures which can fit in with any other star wars set makes me so hyped. Unfortunately, the chances of getting a Rebels At-AT and B-Wing seem relatively low next year, as they will still be in production, at least for a while. But do you guys think there's a chance of getting sets like the A-Wings or AT-TE, which were last made in 2013? Edit: THOSE TWO NEW INQUISITORS ARE AWESOME! Really hope they'll come in a set!
  14. Hmmm This doesn't give me much idea of what we can expect from the sets Still a brilliant trailer though!
  15. :vader:The celebration has begun... My hype levels are rising!
  16. Does anyone have any idea when the trailer will be available to watch on the Internet? Several sites have suggested the plausibility that some TFA toys might be displayed at the celebration, and one site mentioned lego, so one cam only hope... If not at least we'll still have the trailer
  17. I think Greivous is more like £30/25, according to the price list we saw a while ago
  18. Yeah, it's good that the I'm definitely hyped for Star Wars 7, film and Lego sets included. Shame the set including him probably won't be a forty pound tie fighter.
  19. You could use the sith warrior's, from the Jedi Defender Class Cruiser. That might work, it's hard to make it out through the puzzle peices. The pilot's head from, the imperial v-wing has a passing resemblance too, although I'd say neither are a direct match
  20. There has been an official announcement about Dimensions and although it does include Gandalf, Legolas, Gollum and Gimli so far there is nothing from Castle
  21. Just2good, I don't suppose there's a high definition picture out there? Apart from Threepio, the homestead and sandcrawler it's quite difficult to make out what the set contains Shame it doesn't contain Beru
  22. I don't think I care so much about Yularen's character, as this incarnation is different to how he mostly looked in TCW, but Imperial Officers are always useful, especially varients with uniquely coloured uniforms. I'll probably try to get him when I buy the Tie Advanced, plus a couple of Shadow Troopers BP's
  23. Wow, this would be so great! It's nice to see someone thinking outside the box a bit with the griffon and and mages :) This may be a private prpreference, but I've always wanted a lego raven, in,any size, so that would be great too. In reply to your Game of Thrones comparison, one of the biggest shames about never seeing any official set based on the series is the fact that the unique styles of armour of the Kingsguard and Lannister soldiers is almost impossible to replicate, so what would be nice if we get another fantasy theme would be uniquely moulded armour for the Knights/warriors/chieftains of each faction, like the Troll armour in the 2006 waves. What would also be nice is bringing themes from previous waves into a new one, such as the Wolfpack, or even bringing in more mythological elements such as those in Vikings
  24. Thanks for the advice! As Antman does seem destined to join the Avengers, it would make sense to get a set with the most Avengers to join him. Wow, I didn't expect you to go to such a level of effort there, thank you so much! :) The prices really give me an good idea of where to get what, so thanks for that. You made some really good points about availability too, so I've got a general idea of where I'm going. Thanks again!
  25. OK, so I've been thinking of getting some MCU sets to go with the Antman set I plan to purchase Overall, which do you guys think is best, the new Quinjet or the Milano? I've seen reviews and videos of both of them and I'm still not sure, as minifigure wise they both have advantages over the other. Any ideas? Thanks
