  1. Wow, thanks so much for that picture kr-lik, it's really helpful (and awesome). I'll probably get four of those Shadow Guards to go with the Inquisitor, as he hasn't had any sort of elite troops or guards in the series so far. It's almost like Lego gave us this battlepack to go with the Inquisitor. The issue is, I'm going to have problems sticking to only two of the set...
  2. I think the new Falcon is going to be as much of a quality increase as the Republic Gunship, instead of another "advance" like the Star Destroyer. The Millennium Falcon is such an icon of Star Wars that the designers simply can't muck it up, especially as it seems a key part of the new film. Although I never got the the 2011 version, I understand it had several key flaws, although it was also one of the better sets of that wave. Four years later and the TFA Falcon can only get better.
  3. I think you forgot two Lasat Bo-Rifles, Admiral Thrawn and an entire, UCS Cloud City :D. I like your inclusion of Durge though. Anyway, I think the set may actually be not that bad. Especially if you're like me and don't have £350+ to spend on the Death Star. And I'm pretty sure it won't just have three minifigures either, BTW.
  4. Anyway, the Flash Speeder seems a bit expensive for £35, especially considering it's around the same size as the Landspeeder or Mandalorian Speeder, which were around £20-25 respectively. I understand 1/2 battle droids will be included, and likely a droideka as well, but a droideka is not worth £10. I think Padme, with a new faceprint and in her battle outfit, will be included, along with the Naboo Guard from the MTT. If there is a fifth figure, I'd say it would either be the Gungan Warrior from the winter wave or an updated Captain Panaka. I'd love for the set to include a Kaadu-drawn cart with Boss Nass, but it would just look out of place with the rest of the set. I'll guess we'll just have to wait for a new Gungan Patrol with Boss Nass, Captain Tarpaals and a Gungan Warrior, plus two battle droids.

  6. Again, warning for possible spoilers below: I'm pretty sure Old Luke won't be on Tatooine (where Rey's Speeder is) as I get the feeling the new heroes will have to spend a large portion of the film trying to find, after some accurate-sounding rumours he's been in a Yoda-like exile for the past thirty years. Max von Sydow sounds like a good bet though. At first I thought 3 new SW7 minifigures sounded a bit unrealistic, then realised we probably won't get any minifigures which aren't new! Anyway, I also disagree about the Red TIE Fighter's minifigures, as I don't think Kylo Ren (possibly Adam Driver's character, the sith with the cross-saber) will be included. I personally believe Gwendoline Christie's character will be the main focus of the set, with chrome Stormtroopers, those guards we saw in the picture and maybe Andy Serkis's character, I've no clue as to hims role in the film. I think Kylo Ren will either be in: a playset based on the lightsaber duel on the ice planet, a set with the new Imperial Walker or the Millennium Falcon. If he was an X-Wing pilot before turning to the Dark Side, I guess we'll see a non evil version in the X-Wing set.
  7. Possible spoilers from TFA below, though my speculation is based on rumour so may be incorrect. The £15 sets have been bothering me for a while now, as I've been trying to work out what they could be. I think they're TLG's of avoiding the "no battlepacks in a summer wave" rule, by making Battle of Saleucami style sets, which don't necessarily count as a battlepack, based on TFA. I read somewhere a while back that there might be an Imperial attack on Yaven 4, so that's my first battlepack idea for September: a set that looks like cross between the Endor battlepack and the aforementioned Saleucami set with two speeders and forest barricade build, with two Rebel soldiers, two of the new stormies and either a Rebel captain or a chrome stormtrooper. I think the other set might be based on the battle on the mysterious ice forest planet which was mentioned on this topic about 15-20 pages back, although I don't what it could contain, apart from perhaps a generic Inquisitor with a double sided head to portray two different masks, although that would depend on how many Inquisitors are in the film. By the way, if there are any more Rebels sets in the summer wave they could be based on Season Two of Rebels, which should have started airing by then.
  8. Thanks for the review kr-lik! I thought I would prefer the Shadow Guards, but I actually prefer the look of troopers. The guards just don't seem to have enough detail, especially considering they only have plain red heads and the new Iron Legion Drones from Avengers have awesome trans printed heads. Still, I'll get two of this pack, although I still want to know what they look like next to the Inquisitor...
  9. £79.99?! For the Final Duel set! That's £20 more than Palpatine's Arrest! I know it comes with a newly moulded Vader, but still... I've also realised why the DV helmet is in two parts-so the top half can be taken off for Darth Vader's final scene. Sorry if I caught on a bit late. Also, apart from Stormtroopers and Royal Guards, who else could come in this set. Imperial Officers? Seems to me the £130 TFA set is a tad obvious-we're getting another Millennium Falcon! Does anyone have any idea what the £15 sets could be? The only set I know at that price is Battle of Saleucami.
  10. Palpatine's Arrest is a brilliant set, I agree, but I don't think Final Duel should be the same size as it. Although the build could easily go from a £40 set to anything up to £80, I believe TLG should only focus on the main throne area, so the base platform, the stairs and support pillars and a small raised throne area itself. That way you can reenact all the main scenes and still have play features and enough space to duel. Palpatine's Arrest also had six important minifigures while Final Duel should only have three (with maybe 1/2 extra figures thrown in). My guess would be to keep the set at the same size as Duel on Geonosis, so with Darth Vader, Luke and Sidious and maybe an Imperial Dignitary. I also agree with Bissspuren that the set should include no Royal Guards-we have a battlepack for that.
  11. Isn't it meant to be the tenth anniversary of RotS? The 3D release is also coming out as well. Perhaps Lego might acknowledge this with several sets they missed out in the 2014 wave: A Juggernaut Turbo Tank (£109.99), A Wookiee Catamaran (£59.99) and a Ornithoptor (£29.99) would all be nice, especially since TLG have all the Wookiee moulds they need. BTW, I also think it's past time we got the Jedi School Bus from Yoda Chronicles with all four of the Jedi Younglings. Who would say no to that?!
  12. See, I thought it looked all right. The film seems ok and I'm loving the Ant-Man suit, so...I'll give it a chance. Lego set wise, I'd really like a fly the size of the moulded spiders and the ants from Indiana Jones with a micro-sized Antman riding it. How cool would that be!
  13. Nope, afraid not. Wow, I've just realised we're getting Sandman and Rhino in the same set...and then I saw the set name and felt like an idiot :D This may actually break me out of my irrational hate of Spidey sets to get the set. I wonder how they'll make Sandman. Maybe half-bigfigure, half unique moulded sand peices?
  14. I need to see that Helicarrier! Weirdly, I'm more excited about the minifigures than I am the actual set, but I won't be able get them either way, so :P BTW, does anyone know what time the Ant-Man trailer comes out? in UK time? Thanks. Best regards to you all, Our wait will be rewarded-some day
  15. Thanks :)! Sorry, I don't think I saw Just2good's post, meaning if your set list is based on that it's probably the more correct one. Anyway, I like the idea of an exclusive set based on the original JP trilogy. It'd allow us to get some original trilogy minifigures-and a SPINOSAURUS! Hope this comes true.
  16. Cloud City? We can hope. But i don't think it's in Lego's nature to leak fake information. I'd say it's part of Abrams no spoilers policy, except the sets in question aren't from TFA. Has Lego ever leaked false information before? I remember once it was claimed in the winter 2011 set list that we'd get a red y-wing bomber and Yoda's hut, but I think those sets were cancelled before release.
  17. DAMN YOU LEGO! YOU HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PEOPLE! BAIN! WITH A FANCY GREEN WAISTCOAT AND A GINGER WIG ON! WHO WOULD WANT THAT! And damn you too Just2good! I wanted a Hobbit 2015 topic, the direct desendent of the Future LOTR topic of pointless debate and doomed hope! We still hadn't decided who would win: Smaug or the Balrog! Ah well, I'll guess I'll make the topic anyway-just so we can complain about Bain for ten more pages ;). On a more serious note, I'm going to wait to buy the Lonely Mountain set until the end of January, do you think it'll last that long?
  18. I disagree (although I like your guess work and think your reasoning is great). I think Raptor Escape is going to be an exclusive. The main focus of the set is the raptors (I think two will be included) and i really don't believe it'll be large enough to be a £120 set. I'd hazard a guess that it's around £35-£55 and was not part if the original price list (hence it being a exclusive). Judging by the rest of the set list, My predictions: -"Ultra Dino" is the £120 set, with the D-Rex and a raptor or the ceolyphisis thrown in. -T-Rex Tracker is £70 -Raptor Rampage is £50 and comes with another two raptors -Pteranodon Capture is £20, which means there's an easy way to get that epic pterosaur :) Dilophosaurus Ambush is the confusing one for me, as it's great we're getting that dino, Lego will have to make a new head mould and the "ambush" sounds pretty cool, however I have no idea if the Dilophosaurus will be the only dinosaur included. It could be £40, but then again i have no idea how big a set like that could be. It's not looking good for a Lego Mosasaurus...:( BTW djmangunz, sorry to step on your toes a bit and steal some of your ideas.
  19. Thanks guys, I was wondering due to whether it can fit more than one person in the cockpit or not (something no other Tie has ever done, I think). I guess the price will depend on whether lego make it smaller in scale ($65, CoffeeGuy's estimate) or to the same, or slightly smaller in scale, to the film ($90, NovaSentinel's estimate).
  20. Damn, looks like we're not getting a normal, system tie fighter in the summer :(. Still, it looks pretty cool. Does anyone have any idea what kind of price range this ship as a set would be in? I'm not exactly sure of it's scale. Also, thanks for that peice of information NovaSentinel, I guess we know what set she's going to come in ;). Those guards would be nice too.
  21. Lego also made a Snowspeeder in 2013, so they've already released two varients within a year of release. For some reason TLG seem to love them, almost as much as Jedi Starfighters. Wampas!?ATTACKING ECHO BASE! I need to see this deleted scene! Looks like we'll get another Wampa next year then. I can just imagine scratching at a wall with an explode function... 22. Thanks, I saw them as well :) I'm loving Black Widow's new suit! It seems a bit more superhero than the last one, and the batons can be easily produced in Lego, especially if you collect Star Wars ;)
  23. Yep, and this year's going to,be even better ;) Except for Middle Earth :( Still, we still have to have hope.
  24. Need one, maybe. Want one, definitely. Afford one, not so much :) Besides, whose to say it won't be possible to get both... A system and a UCS? They're not even that different-apart from a difference in scale, size and about 4-5 hundred pounds ;)
  25. A new SW7 2015 system-scale Falcon? Yes please! :) I'd much prefer that version to a UCS-£500-behind comprehensionly big-Millenium Falcon.
