  1. The Shark is probably not going to be for the Lego Ninjago Movie given its a 'Zombie/Ghost Shark' instead of just a Shark, and is much more likely going to be from the POTC set (Or a promotion related to the POTC theme) OR in the worst case scenario it was abandoned late in production and wont be appearing in anything. With that said, the shark itself however is not 'too violent' for the Ninjago movie. Both the Lego Movie and the Lego Batman Movie had darker moments, normally revolving around a character dying or potentially sacrificing themself. In the trailer alone we saw Cole and Kai both killing Aquatic villain, one was crushed to death, the other burned alive before exploding. Granted they were in the vehicles at the time, but its definitely trying to be a lot more violent in regards to how the Ninja take down their enemies. Lloyd used his sword to effectively slice someone straight from bottom to top. A comical Zombie/Ghost shark could fit into this is there were Zombie/Ghost Aquatic creatures in the movie, though as mentioned, currently we've only seen regular Aquatic creatures so for that reason we probably wont see the Zombie/Ghost shark in the Ninjago movie.
  2. Was hoping that the information would be sorted into a post ASAP, but it seems the BZPower coverage will be later this week instead. Here is what i'm getting from the posts they've made; Sets; 1. Destiny's Bounty, Largest set shown 2. Lloyd's Dragon, mentioned as being a good representation of what we've seen in the trailer 3. Zane's Tank 4. Kai's Mech, mentioned as being "Scaled down a bunch", apparently looks "cheaper than the rest of the sets" 5. Jay's vehicle, mentioned as being different to the one we saw in the trailer 6. Cole's vehicle, is a mech, mentioned as being different to the one we saw in the trailer 7. Ninja Training Area / Base / Dojo
  3. I'm just wondering what these initial rumours are and what is meant by D2C. I'm not trying to add any validation to the rumours.
  4. Its likely Department of Damage Control. Damage Control being a sort of lower level group of cleaners who clean-up after Avengers battles.
  5. I posted a picture earlier, but they were unavailable as far as i could see. Perhaps it was a glitch. Either way, BZPower may be the only place we get info.
  6. Speculation. We've seen a zombie shark that is identical to the trailer version, so the question is where it is.
  7. Key point to remember is Steppenwolf. If he's a big-fig then that can add to the price.
  8. BZPower made vague remarks about potentially doing a write-up or revealing information about the Ninjago Movie sets, but then removed the tweets confirming Lloyd's Dragon and denying the shark set. They seem to be the only place that may give us details...
  9. Well, thats a bummer. Hopefully we get a list with details soon - but now i'm only really holding out hope for the mech's. The shark was probably my second favourite design, it looked cool and could have made a great Shark set for display, or motorising it to walk for playability.
  10. Just noticed that, it looks so dumb. looks like the falling feature was an after-thought so they just added a brown joint piece.
  11. I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. The scale is a complete mess. The exterior of the boat matches up well with the figures... yet the doors to the cabin and below decks are tiny...
  12. Depends on the level of detail; Prices, figures, names, scale, piece counts - all these would be helpful. I'm just not expecting a detailed analysis of every set - considering we didnt get a detailed analysis of other non-photograph sets. BZPower have just confirmed the Lloyd's Dragon as a set (Then the tweet went unavailable, but still)
  13. Shocker; Just we have'nt seen him look like this yet in the trailer so they probably want to keep it hidden. The general theory is that the suit and technology passes to a few people in the movie, eventually it evolves to the point we get Shocker at the end.
  14. So, after a little while for the set photo's to sink in, thoughts on the Spider-man Homecoming sets; Generic Bank Robbery set Seems every Spider-man theme has to have one of these. The build is basic, the colours are lighter than what they really should be. The Captain America Robber is clearly dark skinned yet here he is pale skinned. Will pass on this set UNLESS it includes the alternative heads for Iron Man and Thor Robbers. Vulture & Shocker attack a truck Only part of Vulture that looks good is the torso. I hate the new helmet mold and the printing looks bland. Will probably replace this with a Batman face and have him more like the comics where he didnt have the helmet. New Iron Man figure is nice to add to the collection, though not a fan of the lower design. Inclusion of Spider-man and Shocker (though not revealed) means this is the only set i need to get to have both the villains and both the heroes. Will buy this set, hopefully Shocker has full printing
  15. Hopefully they'll show a glimpse of one of the more iconic potential sets, the Garmadon Shark or Lloyd's Dragon. Otherwise we'll have virtually nothing to discuss for months because set descriptions will probably be as expected (The mechs and Garmadon's shark) When will be the next chance to see these given the NYTF photo policy?
  16. I'm a bit disappointed we did not get Will Turner with the Davey Jones style algae/fish stuff we see in the trailer. Out of the main figures, he was one of the more important and i dont think they should count the figurehead as a figure (Unless it comes to life also)
  17. Wonder what happened to the Zombie Shark?
  18. Why someone would put them all into a fast-moving gif that doesnt let us look at the figures is just insane - Marcus Errico... WHY? Decided to put them all together;
  19. We have official images in the other topic :3
  20. What's the point of showing the sets then? Hopefully we'll catch a glimpse of them in the background or something - otherwise this NYTF is a complete waste - all we'll get is descriptions. Best we can hope for is someone drawing them.
  21. Its getting shown! Seems to have a lot of cannons... a lot of cannons indeed Official pictures are making me not like this - it looks bad :/
  22. Interesting they didnt show Shocker... guess he gets a new suit later in the movie?
  23. "Toyark.com will be covering the special LEGO breakfast that is planned for February 18th 2017 between 7-9AM." Its currently 7:28AM NY time. Unfortunately a 'Special Lego Breakfast' will probably be an actual breakfast followed by seeing the sets potentially before the opening. It opens officially at 9AM so about 1hr 30mins left, however as kastorskorner has posted, we now have images... so YEE
