  1. Okay. :xAs for something on-topic, reading all these details has me considering if I'll have two seperate teams of Toa, or because they're so similar (thus far) simply use them to enhance my existing team as I did with each HF release.
  2. So again we return to the realm of uncertainty. Does Lego know? We don't know.Gonna keep on discussing the new sets, though. Or, well, reading the discussion.
  3. I feel like Grievous looks better in in-hand photos than he did in official artwork. Funny how he has three toes, though, since he should only have two and that would've saved a bit of money excluding them.
  4. But murder is a crime that people go to jail for. People don't go to jailf or talking about murder. They make TV shows about it.Like I said, Comicbookmovie and the like have been around for years. If a studio wants them to take something down, they do. But nothing's been posted here, only described. We've been doing it for days now. The simple fact that discussion has continued shows that, so far, neither Lego nor EB actually have a problem with it, otherwise we simply would not be discussing it. Plain and simple.
  5. They are copyright-protected, however, and classified to only those who pay to see them. When you pay to see a movie, you're given limited access to view it. Just like anyone with official access to these images. To share or distribute that movie is copyright infringement which is illegal. Just like distributing the images. To discuss a movie and describe it in detail is not, nor should it be with these images. Which happens all the time. There's multiple sites dedicated to it that have operated for years. And people do post exerpts, and even entire scripts, online as well. But a script is not a movie. Just like a description is not an image. They're not, though, and I've given solid reasoning to every single one of your retorts explaining why they aren't.A picture and words are not the same thing. The pictures are classified, words about them are not. Simple as that. As you should, and as I would expect if the actual images were to be posted. Sincere question from a recent member: Has Lego ever asked that something not be discussed before?
  6. Who's mentioned the Nexo-Knights, though? Actually yes.Again, it's like saying in-depth movie summaries are wrong. It's not the same thing. Talking about the image is still not the image. It's discussion. This shouldn't have to be explained how words and pictures aren't the same thing.
  7. Nope, you're totally right.
  8. You didn't, but others did. That's not tangible, though. A photo is tangible, heresay and discussion is not. I mean, this really was my point. I just wanted to discuss the sets without everyone busting the balls of the nice guy given the tidbits.EDIT: This site's autocorrect is the most immature thing ever. That "A" in AFOL really is a technicality more often than not, it seems. Eurobricks is the "friendly site" for sure.
  9. Exactly! Real leaks are gonna come in regardless, though. What, honestly, makes what Nekchir is doing different from the "Water Bohrok" before it was debunked? But the staff aren't, like, posting the leaks on the front page or anything. They're not promoting it or actively trying to spread it, (like some sites and illegal activity) they're letting conversation go where it may. And that's all it is, conversation. Heresay. Nothing tangible is being distributed.
  10. But they wouldn't be real, or would they? ,':D Because what else is there to do on this site?Either way, there's no proof. So why bother getting upset over it? You don't live in a cave. All the poor guy's done is try to revitalize discussion with a little news he found. It's a cruel fact of society that once something's out there, it's out there.
  11. Actually Nekchir himself described exactly how you can tell leaked images are faked, since they use a special watermark system. So, nope, your version doesn't work either. :p Maybe it's my upbringing so-to-speak. I come from a site that blatantly advertises Copyright infringement and IP theft on it's front page every day, with an entire sub-forum supporting illegal product infringement, so I may be in a skewed perspective here.
  12. Well y'know how it is. Would this be a bad time to mention I'm not an American citizen? My ultimate point is that Nekchir should be allowed to say what he says since there's no proof that what he's saying is actually confidential information. And the only way to prove that is for someone else to actually commit the crime of posting the images, or wait until the final sets are revealed. There's also this.
  13. No it doesn't, it's a constitutional right that everyone should be entitled to.Also, it's pictures of kiddies toys. And I'm sure nobody here has every downloaded a song, listened to music or watched TV shows on youtube, posted an image without credit to it's creator, or yes, viewed confidential leaked images. The ultimate irony would be if Nekchir was either lying or misinformed. For all we know he's making this up, though I don't believe he is, there's no way to actually confirm what he's saying is confidential until said confidential material is no longer confidential.
  14. Not really. That's like saying describing a movie is the same as pirating it. Whatever happened to freedom of speech?
  15. Plus, when you go from limbs that are about three pieces to limbs that are at least six, I don't see how that's simpler anyway. Not to mention they went from single-piece bodies to three-part torsos. (not counting pins)
  16. The same way any franchise starts huge and trails off. That's just business. Nothing's going to stay as successful as it first is, and expecting it to is unreasonable.
  17. Yeah, I don't feel like it accomplishes much, but hey it's not like the Toa, and thus the gearbox piece, are hard to find?
  18. Since when does simpler = dumber? That's some hot garbage thinking right there. That doesn't even make sense, as the 2007 were the Inika with more parts and more creative builds. EDIT: Does this site seriously have an auto-correct that turns "A-s-s" into "Megabloks" spelled wrong? That's dumb. No wonder there's so few casuals here. Slandering other brands and their fans? That's okay, but using a bad word tame enough for daytime television? HEAVENS NO!
  19. How can it be lopsided if it's symmetrical?
  20. So? I'm not saying replace them, just offer an alternative. The current limb setup doesn't allow for the armour extenders to be placed up or down a module, so there's already drawbacks with the current design. I was operating under the assumption that this new bone piece would be offered alongside the current bone selection, as new parts tend to be. Is that not why we have different length bones to begin with?
  21. I've always imagined the longer bones having pin holes in the balls, like the Protector torsos, and special armour with moulded-in pins that clips onto the back. I'm surprised it's never happened, but then Lego seems unwilling to make new bone variants.
  22. Is it obscure, though? Many different uses of the word "flush" are appropriate in games and moves. Also, in fiction where so much is just made up nonsense, I have to commend the effort to educate young children in homonyms and word meanings.
  23. Or maybe a reference to poker and other playing card games, like "royal flush."
  24. Excellent job!
  25. I want Vader, but everyone else I'd probably only buy for parts. Great parts, though.
