I'm currently working on my first MOC, a Ride-on Lawn mower (sound rather boring now that i think about it). It has 4 motors: 1 XL for drive. 1 Servo for steering. 1 M motor for blades. 1 M motor for Dumping open the grass catcher. Pictures: Close-up of blades and underside: Seat, steering wheel and some control sticks for detail. 3/4 view and close-up of rear. The back is unfinished as i try to figure out a grass catcher and dumper.

What kind does this truck have in real life? the model should be replicating that, should it not? im fine with the suspended pendular axle.

Given what (admittedly little) know about toy design 2016s flagship is likely already planned and given the current schedule it will be most likely be RC, however 2017 could still be far enough for our suggestions to carry some weight, but it will probably not be RC, i still agree with others that there should be some kind of UCS type set with loads of parts and functions.

42040 Fire Plane
Corvette3 replied to timtimgo87's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This discussion kinda hits home for me, its fire season where i live, and fire planes go overhead alot and there are some pretty bad fires in my area. -
Did they do anything for 30th, 20th or even 10th? what makes this anniversary any different? not that i don't want anything though, a special huge flagship would be great.

Misuses of Technic Parts In Mocs
Corvette3 replied to DrJB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Call me crazy, but that bush in the diff effectively makes it worthless, am i right? -
WOW! i think i love it, it seems to be able to drive, is an L motor powerful enough? but ignoring its likely huge gear reduction... I WANNA BUILD IT SO BADLY!!!
-
yeah it kinda hurts the eyes, took me a full minute of staring to figure out they were lifting each other.

WOW the 42030 was $249 USD? it retails at $359 AUD... i got mine for a bit less but still, that's ridiculous,
-
at will likely cost much more in Australia... its rare a set will be less than 10 parts per dollar.

Walking Mini Cooper
Corvette3 replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Something like this next? Also that music is really familiar, now i have to go figure out where i heard it... -
I could not say, they both have pluses and minuses, but in regards to representing machinery (the purpose of Technic, arguably) pneumatics are closer to hydraulics for realism purposes.

General Part Discussion
Corvette3 replied to Polo-Freak's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I saw an 8275 for $1200 AUD once WHY?, i'm sure i could get most of the important parts for less than 200, why would i bother with $1200 (about four recent flagship sets) just because its new?- 5,446 replies
