  1. Awesome AT-RT Bricktooth. It is really nice to have such an accurate build in pretty much Minifig scale. The legs should be a little bit taller but if you extended them 1 stud it may look too high then. Nice build and addition the the CB.
  2. Nice chess set Brickplace, I always love looking at these. You have put some original touches to the chess set compaired from memory of others I have seen in the past. I love the base with the imperial shuttle and falcon consealed in it and the snow on the rocks looks great. Your mini vehicles are original and nice little builds as well.
  3. Thats realy cool dr_spock. NIce to see original builds with great part usage, first time to see a buzz droid at that scale.
  4. 1280 x 1024 12 MB Firefox 16.0.1 If anyone needs to know the speed of the connection go here http://www.speedtest.net/
  5. What a way to turn a fail into a win. It usually is devastation when a build like this falls to the ground but you have come up with a great display for the AT-AT in a crashed state. I love the little touches like the troopers falling out of the side and being turned upside down from the fall , made me laugh. Your AT-AT is great and one day I would love to tackle this vehicle in minifig scale Lego build. Your addition of an interior is mad and very impressed to see a cock pit big enough for all the figs and the neck walk way .

  7. The new improvements are great and I like how you have mounted the bike on the stand now and got rid of Boba's head. Great work with the limited parts!
  8. Great work markus1984. Your lighting and photography is brilliant. You have captured this well in Lego. I missed your little A-wing in the first picture due to it being camouflaged and I don't think I have seen one at this scale before, very nice. Although the entrance has not been lit like the film the pictures give a sense that the hole is endless and very long.
  9. Nice one TeufelHund, I will be using this over the weekend.
  10. That was sweet, great song too. Awesome lighting and camera work.
  11. You've done a great job making a smaller version of this. Although from looking at reference pics it now looks just a tad on the small size and yes a little chibbie. I wonder what widening it by two studs an lengthening it by one would look like? What is the stud length comparison between the Lego's version and yours? Nice contribution to the CB.
  12. I trust your judgement TheDarkness, your usually all over the Aussie sales thread and know your prices. I really want this set so whe I get the cash I'm just going to get the cheapest I can find at the time. I know if I hunted and waited long enough I could get a better deal but I've been checking the price of this set for since it came out and that would have to be the cheapest I've seen it. Cheers
  13. Thanks guys, Just checked Amazon.fr and I was quotes AUD $472.94 delivered. Anyone get a better deal than this??? Other wise it looks like my wallet is going to be $472.94 lighter at the moment.
  14. Hay guys, was wondering where the best place to by 10188 in Australia before the production ends on this awesome set and prices start rising . I had a few quotes from Bricklink sellers but most of the cheapest suppliers only have very low rating and I'm unsure sending $450-$500 overseas to not get my goods . I have done a bit of research on this set and I really want to pick it up before the price goes up after production stops. I don't think I will get it cheaper than $450 shipped to Sydney Australia from what I can find though but not willing to pay the Australian RRP of $699. Can anyone help me with me with acquiring this set shipped to Australia at a reasonable price. I will get my Tax refund back next week or so and will be looking to buy it then. I do have a few items willing to triad if some one is interested but would prefer to triad with Australian's to save on shipping costs. I can do a triad and pay money for the rest of the balance. Will also accept second had set without the box for cheaper shipping but really after one complete new in box though. Items for triad are: UK poly bags from the last two Sun promotions Series 4 minifigs, probably have all 16 still sealed. 4842 Hogwarts Castle sealed mint 8487 Flo's V8 Café sealed mint 4736 Freeing Dobby sealed mint Old Bat man minifigs (batman grey and black, Scare Crow, Poison Ivy, Nightwing, Mr freeze) And a few others that I will update when I go though my spare stuff. Any help with this would be great.
  15. Stop choking your self! Cant wait.
  16. Nice one glenbricker, I'm not familiar with the game at all but the Corellian Defender looks sweet . It has the Star Wars hammer head feel and to the cruiser and the photoshoped dark red look much better IMO. I also live that little play features you put in, the compartment for C2-N2 is genius.
  17. Thanks mate. I will try and find something to wear it, maybe my plush Lego Minifig. I'm glad you do like it as from the start it was not look like it was going to turn out the best, but hay even I surprise myself sometimes. I had trouble deciding to make it black or dark bley. When looking at reference pics they had both colours used. This is the main reference pic I was working from. I think in reality it is dark grey and had black stripes on it but could not replicate that at this scale. I would have loved to have a replica 1:1 scale to work from to shape it much better and get the details right. Thank you glenbricker, you have done some nice geometry on your Corellian Defender as well.
  18. Well I was starting to think the same thing , but I kept at it and it turned out OK in the end . My main problem was reference material, I was working of some pics on the net and a Clone action figure helmet that was a little deformed and not very accurate. The back still needs work and I think the dome on the top need to come back one stud and looks a little short compared to the front. The over all proportions are pretty much there. I spent a lot of time getting the visor accurate as this is the signature of the Clone helmet and need to be the right shape to look right. Though it would be awesome to make a life sized helmet, I dam near ran out of the click hinge bricks used to shape the helmet and white plates where getting low so I wouldn't be able to go that big. Originally my size was set from the visor and using the 4x2 wedge plate. Sorry to disappoint you Bob . Thanks man, I would have loved to tile and snot it to get rid of all the studs but would have been imposable with my current element selection. I did put a bit of work into it getting as many studs visible as possible. I would love to come back to this build and mod it more if and when I get time. I'm not completely happy with the snot work on the head with the layer of plates between every level but it made the shape work better IMO.
  19. On another look it is smaller that I originally thought. For some reason it gives the impression that its larger that it actually is. Its funny sometimes who ideas come along, most of my builds start relatively small and get larger when ideas come flowing in. Smaller builds usually mean less parts but more thought on part usage, in larger builds you usually are able to find ways to put multiple elements together to get the desired shape.
  20. Our friends over at FBTB had this up yesterday. It has a preview for the up coming shows on the cartoon network and the Lego Star Wars is one of them, watch the video . It doesn't have any info on the show but shows a few little hi lights though.
  21. Nice ones DarthPotato, can easily recognise Obi's, Mace and Yoda's hilts. I'm not that familiar with Kit's and Saesee's so its hard for me to comment but they still look good. Its a shame that you cant get the elements in gold as the yellow is a little off putting though. Great addition to the CB.
  22. Bump! The helmet is pretty much finished. Now need to get my CB going.
  23. Nice start on a an Alien nest. Nice build on the face huger's and I see its a little smaller that previous egg/facehuger build from you. The colours are just right. I love the Alien franchise and I will be watching this eagerly for up dates .
  24. Nice one Dapper, great part usage. You have paid attention and add all the details for Vader. I would suggest like MOOD said extend the back of the helmet a stud or two longer and I would also slightly widen the around the mouth where it comes back to the head. Apart from that it looks very nice . It looks like it could go with my Midi scale clone helmet . Another great entry for the CB.
  25. You can go here http://www.brickset.com/minifigs/browse/?theme=Star%20Wars Brick set will list by Minifig and by theme.
