  1. I received my Minifigs safe and sound on Friday. Thanks again for the raffle guys, well worth the wait.
  2. 10. Righty - 1 13. Emma - 1 18. Priovit70 - 1 31. soundwave_sw - 1 37. Etzel - 1 Great work everyone and good luck!
  3. Sweet so far Doc. Im loving that AT-AT though, very nice. Can't wait to see the rest.
  4. I'm so happy, Santa came early and my 10188 Death Star arrived today not damaged. I was lucky and was able to get amazon.com to send it to Australia including shipping for under the American RRP. I can't wait for Christmas, I'm finding it hard not to open it now.
  5. Brilliant review as always Whitefang, thank you very much. I love the rare figs the most unfortunately, Plumber, Maiden, fortune teller are the best IMO. The Police man is a great improvement on prior releases of police figs.
  6. !ATT ALL AUSSIE LEGO FANS! Just ordered the Death Star 10188 from amazon.com for $384.94. I thought I would see if it would let me ship to Australia and it did  . Amazone.com never ships Lego to Australia and this is first time I have ever seen it ship here. Get onto it everybody now while the set is discounted from $400 to $339.97. So much better than the Aus RRP $699, that's almost half price. Its also better price than Amazon.fr which is offering it shipped for $471.45, over $90 saving. What a bargain, thank you Amazon.com . I didn't want to miss this set as it will be discontinued shortly for sure. I am so happy I'm getting the Death Star for Christmas.
  7. Simply awesome Sir Von Lego. It's good to see you finally (still partly finished) finish the pod race scene. The stadium is so packed it almost looks like a still from the movie. Well done, it shows 2 years of hard work. It would be lovely to see this in person to get a closer look.
  8. Hay Guys, Here is my entry for the raffle. Santa giving presents to the lucky minifigs from the last SW raffle. Thanks CopMike for running the raffle again. Good luck to everyone and I cant wait to check the advent raffle calendar each day to see if I'm a winner. Its so exciting to see if you run this again, it a lot of fun and some really neat builds submitted.
  9. You have done we capturing Anakin and Obi in chibi MOOD. The hair is spot on both but I like Obi the best with beard and grey sideburns. Nice submision and good to see you through something together for the CB.
  10. Sweet speeder bike scene ISC. The dense foliage really set Endor mood. I look forward to checking this out in person.
  11. Sweet build Masked, your Lava looks pretty good and I like your scaled cooled lava hill. It almost has that cooled lave look and feel about it, well done. I'd like to also comment on your angles in your photography, nice shots.
  12. Id like to see spin off moves. I really only want a move set around Boba Fett like Wolverine from the X-Men series but others would be OK as well. This could be a good idea, there is plenty of cannon out there. I also read a few post back that we could see Star Wars Battle front 3, I've been waiting for this game for so long .
  13. Nice one Oky, Neat little scene captured well. I was thinking the same thing, the 2013 501st would have look cool in this MOC.
  14. You and your mothers 1:1 builds are amazing. You have used some nice techniques throughout the builds and are very life like.
  15. Nice one LDeaD, you have captured the dragonfly shape well, now I want to see it brick built as well .
  16. Sweet, I love this build. The mech's head and gun are my favourite parts. Overall the build is awesome, and love the suspended action with sand and, parts and people flying mid air.
  17. Nice forced perspective Bob, over all its not too bad IMO. You have created better quality builds though in the past. It took me a second to realize what it's was but it recognisable though.
  18. This is a sweet little build Markus. Nice parity of the Disney take over and George now swimming in money. What I really like is the build for the scene. No one has commented on it yet it look very accurate from memory for the scene in the movie, I love it .
  19. Thanks Dapper, I originally wanted to brick build a death star but was turning out too big. The radar dish piece worked well for the scale. Thanks you for the lovely comment, I tried to do justice to such an iconic scene. I need to to put in extra little details and thought making Darth taller was appropriate. Thanks Bob, I will need to check it out for comparison when your finished mate. Your more than welcome to use any ideas from my build. Thanks Moexy, as I said to Bob I would like to check it out and your welcome to steal any ideas from my build. Thank you, I had mixed feeling about this while building it. I was not sure if I had enough detailing in it but I'm pretty pleased with the end result though. When I get time I will post a few more pics of the whole build (not that you want to see it ). I did really want to build the whole room but part limitations are killing my ideas. Thank you very much DFOL, I really should have got a studless back ground but was hard with element limitations and didn't really want to de a non Lego background so this was the compromise. I was originally going to photoshop the movie scene in to the background after my attempts at a brick built Death Star was not working, but I'm happy with my current build for the Death Star. It would be the second small scale Death Star I have made now, the other one on my Minifig display stand in my sig . Thanks, I almost didn't build a Death Star but Im glad I did, you cant beat brick built details. Thanks Walter, I didn't really think of it being forced perspective but your right it is .
  20. Wow, nice job on this Walter. The frist shot looked great the second shot had the floor lit up and WOW. It looked great and has all the details there. You use the lighting well an seems to be a bit of a signature for your builds, as you always use nice lighting. The scene has that dark, sad feel to it just like the movie.
  21. Here is my contribution The Empire's New Super Weapon.
  22. The Empire's new Super Weapon The Emperor has a new toy There is no technical building details here, I just wanted to recreate on of the most iconic scenes from ROTS and contribute to the SW ROTS CB. I wanted to keep the stud count down ( there is plenty in space though ). I kept running out of parts to build the details I wanted (but this always happens to me) so I had to simplify it a little. The scene is a little bigger that shown and I built 5 windows all up for the bridge but cant be seen from the shots taken. I ran out of sloped control panels in grey and light bluish grey and wanted to fill the panel. Also ran out of inverted slopes both 2x2 and 2x3 and could not extend the roof up much more. You can see a mix of both old grey and light bluish grey and I still ran out of parts. Also noticed a difference between the old and new 2x3 inverted slopes that I didn't know about seen in the image below (well you learn something new every day ). I also ran out of imperial officers to fill the pit. I had originally planed to put in more on both sided of the walk way but this is all I had. Its hard to tell but I have raise Vader with single square studs on this feet to make him taller than the rather short Emperor. Vader joining the Emperor to over see the construction of the Empire's new Super Weapon on the Ventor's bridge. View from the bridge pit with imperials working hard and taking orders. Over looking the construction of the death star. I have put a little .gif together as my iPhone dose not have much depth of field for the last two images. I hope you guys like it!
  23. Neat little scene K.Kreations. I love the colour scheme and is accurate to the move and looks smooth and neat. I love the little crane and the doors are built well. As said before the right coloured blaster bolts would look better, even if you used orange flames it would look better IMO that the green. Another great contribution to the community build.
  24. Nice interview guys and I always like learning a little more about the mods of EB. Yeah I use this a well, found it when looking for free photo editing software the other night. Has some nice features and its free.
  25. Stunning as usual ACPin ( got it right this time ). I love the custom figs like the Manga Guards and members of the Separtist council. The droids are also nice with the addition of a crab droid (haven't seem many recreated in Lego form) and treadwell inspecting Grievous's ship. Its nice to see some customer figs instead of just changing over a couple of SW Minifigs parts. How much re-enforcement have you put in to the skeletal frame? It looks rather thin and heavy and I cant see much supporting it. Another masterpiece from you!
