Now we just need to track those other winners down, but I want no disintegrations!

After looking at the latest pic for Hoth better Im starting to like the look from the outside. It may look aright sitting next to 7666 and 7749 for a full Hoth base. Just dont really like it whan its closed up in a square, much better IMO when the base is spread out. @ Ceroknight, The outside of the base is on the back of the box. Originally I thought the main doors where ware the Doctor noiced the hanging icicles but they must just be the entrance to corrodoors when the set is folded out.

[MOC] Republic Acclamator I-class assault ship

Nice SNOT building. I love how the bottom has SNOT and makes it look smooth and finished, unlike most TLG modles that are left pritty plain and open underneeth. Overall shape is great but alway agree with the Doctor and take tha sides down by one stud. -
Man I love the lighting on this, great job.

As I collect Lego SW I will be getting the hoth base but still looks very disapointing. Can't wait until we get hi res images or a review to see all features of this set. I like the med bay and Luke but surly TLG has put some little fun hidden features. Whats going on with the X-wing pilot bridge on the top of the base? Good eyes Doctor with seeing the falling ice spikes. Dont know what Leia is holding? Probably somthing for the Tawn-Tawn.

I just love the little Boba in his chest, great work incorperating the transformers into Lego. As usual The Doctor has given the right diagnosis, man he always posts just before me and says everything on my mind.

You should like the V19, interesting build and love the wing folding funtion. Another one of TLG great fun and functional designs. -
[REVIEW] 7962 Anakin Skywalker and Sebulba's Podracers

I bough this set yesterday but havent built it yet. I did notice that the picture on the box has Obi with two diffrent faces when looking at the frount and pics of the figs on 1:1 sacle. Dose he have a double sidded head or is this another one of TLG artwork mistakes? -
Man I would pay and arm and a leg for that fig. Lucky score. Im very interested to find out when and how much this fig goes for.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

Form the 2008 line of SW Lego alot of my minifigs have cracking, most from under the arm to the bottom fo the torso. I did get Obi's torso replaced as well a Ventrasses head. As TLG wont replace full minifigs you can still have a body parts replaced that are still in stock. They also said to send back the broken elements for evaluation but got lazy and forgot, but havent heard of anything reguarding it and have had parts replaced after this as well and they havent said anything. I can only asume that the Lego was made in the China factory as the quality was not as good as I have see before. Any thoughts? Also to CaptainCRO KimT said he is doing this review as soon as he gets the wife and kids off his back. Cant be long... -
Thnaks Doctor, I was just wondering if I weas going crazy. I always check the last post page number to see if there has been any new posts and the page numbers went down on this forum. Good, Im not going crazy.

I genrally always agree with the Doctor. Only subtle changes but they look great. Had to use the comparison pics to see the mods but good work.

Hay Minijunkie, your hobby is your hobby. Do with it anything that you please. I personaly like to build, display for 6 months and then pack it up due to sun damage. You can jump onto www.brickset.com and list your Lego sets and they will give you an approx RRP, part count and minifig count to keep track of your collection. Ive got $3990 US worth od Star Wars and about $2500 US in other themes. Also www.bricklink.com is awsome for pricing and comparing sets with prices on ebay to see if you getting a good deal. You can look up old set prices to see what they are worth or even pick up that set that you missed out on at the shop or was an exclusive. I find it really hard to keep my sets MISB but latly with my 10 year old son contnatly touching, braking, loosing and swapping over fig elements I find it easyer to keep in the box. When I get sick or board I will whip one out and start building. I usually get down on the ground with my son and help him with building somthing but ususlly I dont get the time to Moc myself. Just finished putting together my Star Wars minifig display stand, and now need to sort through all the Lego to find the right bits to make the minifigs. Will get a photo up as soon as can in the show your army diplay thread. -
Well this makes me fell special as being in Austrlaia we miss out on all sourts of sets and deals but we have had the summer wave here for 3 weeks now. The new falcon is part of the summer range right? Go this 2 weeks ago, awsome set! I also picked up the Genosian figter and Nightspeeder.

Finally the frig'n figate review. Nice review and set . This will be a must have for me. Grest to see a ship that is designed better than the previous version. The odd addition and selection of figs is weird but overall awsome characters to make a added bonus with this set.
-
Ill first start by giving you a thumbs up for the idea . Looks gerat at a larger scale well done. You have done alright with the parts avalivbe. I will have to agree with Mutlty777 and say the mod can use some improving as its not much diffrent to the original set. At this size its hard to put extra detailing in the sides but with larger sails will make it more to scale. With some nice features this can really be an awsome MOC.

Im so hoping for a Jabba's Palace set released. There are so many characters that could be used but im really hoping and waiting for the Rancor, printed more detailed Jabba (mold can be used for Zero the Hut for clone wars set the Zero the Hut excape with Cad Blaine), Salacious B. Crumb and Boushh. Please, please , please...

I agree Doctor, but with the limited part selection and size you have done very well and is instantly recognisable.
