I love your attention for detail in even the packaging of such a small build, great work!

No, Germany actually. I was also waiting for a shipment of three minifigures for almost the same time. The seller sent new figures by the way, but not exactly the ones I ordered (two older versions of snowtroopers and a stormtrooper with a Rebels helmet for some reason). Still, very nice of him. It gets worse though, I bought a 75311 Marauder without minifigs which was shipped at the end of May which was returned to sender last week. They were all from different parts of Germany so I don't know what is going on lately.

Yesterday I got three stormtroopers and two imperial shock troopers in the mail. Quite impressive since they were shipped domestically over a month ago.

Guess I'm lucky that a friend managed to get his hands on two Phase 1 packs for me (and a couple for himself). He had an alert for the Lego store in his city and noticed that they were sold out again a few hours later... -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

A little emphasis on RotJ to celebrate its 40th anniversary would be cool, but with all that new content coming I'm afraid it won't happen. Fingers crossed though. -

If I recall correctly, I saw a U-Wing on a promotional poster for Andor. So maybe it'll be sooner than you think I agree with you on the patrol gunship, maybe it'll appear in Andor as well. As for the ARC-170, it's been in enough media (ROTS, several TCW episodes) to warrant a certain status not far below the more iconic ships, and the last version is from 2010 if I recall correctly. I think the multitude of new show and seasons of existing shows are what's hindering its re-entrance. In part at least. With so many shows and movies since Disney took over, there's only so much you can release of course. But I do find my ideas better than several other sets that did get released As for the inclusion of Plo Koon, that would fit pretty well... also pretty morbid if you think about how he met his fate, maybe they could include some random white and blue pieces to make the scene more lively -
That's what I'm talking about, excellent improvements!

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I'm not in the business of predicting sets, but I will try to keep my hopes and dreams a bit realistic. ARC-170 fighter, with 3 pilots and 1 astromech. I liked the fact that models were a bit downscaled with the most recent X-Wing and TIE fighter, so I hope that they will do the same with this one. They'd probably throw in a main character, so let's just say Palpatine for the heck of it. U-Wing, with the upcoming Andor series I see this as a possibility. It'd have Andor of course, and like three additional figures among which a stormtrooper (or other imperial trooper). Ghost, with the release of the Justifier next month I'd say that this one isn't that out there. In it would be Hera Syndulla, Ezra, Kanan, Chopper, Sabine and Zeb (with a smaller head mold than his first version). Preferably they'd do the same as they did with the first version, namely making it compatible with the Phantom 1 and maybe even Phantom 2. Those two could be redesigned as well. Ahsoka's Jedi interceptor, with Ahsoka and a buzz droid. Not very likely of course but she's only had the jedi starfighter/interceptor treatment once and she had a fair amount of screentime in those and is still popular. LAAT/Ie patrol gunship, preferably the imperial version from Rebels. Manned by a pilot and two stormtroopers, maybe with a main character included. And one that is waaaaaay out there: Moldy Crow, with Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors. The Crow would be slightly downscaled to be a bit more like a fighter and a bit less like a small freighter. Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II got me into the expanded universe and was my first step into exploring Star Wars beyond just the movies. There's so much nostalgia involved for me that I would happily pay for something like that with three times the Star Wars tax. -
The last three sets that I got were a MISB 75204 Sandspeeder, the 7672 Rogue Shadow and an incomplete (and therefore dirt cheap) 7674 Torrent, which I bought the missing parts for and assembled it together with my wife. I'm also assembling my own Lego advent calendar this year because I find the upcoming SW one disappointing and I bought some things to fill it, among which were figures of Ahsoka and baby Yoda and a 912170 mini V-Wing. I'm having a lot of fun assembling it all. Also several parts to add to incomplete minifigs, like two deathtrooper helmets, and parts for two incomplete 7140 X-wings I bought. Filling the gaps in the sets and minifigs that I own.

That looks pretty good, you added some neat features. Maybe you could make the bodywork around the cockpit a bit less blocky, but I love how it looks way sturdier than the Official(tm) version from 2003.

I've still got some second hand purchases coming in with minifigs, mostly imperial. And last Saturday I got 75320 Snowtrooper battle pack on a good discount. On top of that, last week a friend got his hands on two 40558 Phase I clone battle packs for me (sold out within the hour of course).

Of the sets revealed so far I'm only interested in Obi-Wan's starfighter, since I missed out on the first version in 2002; I don't really care for Taun We but it's nice to have her I guess. And I'm looking forward to the reveal of the AT-TE since I also missed out on its first incarnation in 2003 I believe The Scythe is looking very good indeed but the fact that I'm not impressed by the inquisitors in the show erases the interest that I could have had in their vehicle (for such a price at least). And I'm not sure what sunny Vader is doing in the advent calendar. Maybe they just really wanted to release that figure from the summer special but couldn't think of another type of set to insert a goofy minifure in? Oh well, I'll see what else it will have before buying. -
I finally watched TBoBF last week and I really liked the updated N1. I also thought of the official set, how it's such a bad representation of the source material, partly due to the fact that it is too big, like lots of Star Wars sets are IMO. But you made it look significantly better already by this downscaling. As for improvements, I agree with the droid pod being too tall, reducing it shouldn't be much of a problem when you have the right passenger in mind And I'm not sure if the cockpit should be a bit more to the front... But overall, a very adequate improvement

^I certainly hope so. I would love this new scale adjustment of the TIE fighter and X-Wing to be continued in more sets over the coming years. Gotta get myself a B-Wing after 20 years... -

After seeing some videos on youtube I'm sadly confirmed in my concerns about the X-Wing. I liked the back more than expected actually, but that nose... even the 7140 variant felt less weird. As for the smaller wave and smaller sets, I can also imagine another covid-related reason. Of course the consumers are/will be hit in their wallets as well for obvious reasons, and if Lego wants to sell a decent amount of sets they'd have to keep it affordable. -
^I'm sure I already made such a picture to send to a friend. Just see if I can get it on my computer....

I have been having a hate-love relationship with lego Star Wars over the past decade. Aside from the prices getting out of hand I was disappointed about the fact that the models seemed to become bigger and bigger. I'm really glad to see the scale of this X-Wing and TIE fighter. And the prices of course. Speaking of these two models, I'm actually impressed by this TIE model. I'm generally not inclined to "update" my SW ships (for all its faults, 7140 is still the only X-Wing for me), but I wouldn't mind picking this one up next to my 7146. As for the X-Wing, I don't really like it. It looks a bit too blocky for my tastes, especially the backside. But overall it's a good wave to get into Lego SW again, so far I'm only interested in the TIE and Mando set which is a bit easier on the wallet. -
Last week, after 15 years, I finally got some jedi starfighters: 9498 Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter (second hand and incomplete, had to bricklink some parts and Saesee Tiin) 75135 Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor (second hand) 75281 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor (new)

Heh, thanks for the look into your brains you guys needed that to keep my cynical self silent.

I seriously wonder if you even read my post

9676: TIE Interceptor & Death Star. Finally got a Death Star :D

I don't see how that's connected to my post.

I don't really understand the logic behind buying Lego sets from a movie that won't be coming out in almost four months. The Falcon is understandable, since it's an iconic ship so the step isn't that big. The new X-Wing however, is a bit too different from what we are used to to get enthusiastic about. Those colors give it a vibe of belonging to some kind of special agents theme like Lego has been releasing from time to time over the last fifteen years. It would have helped alot if they used a less shiny shade of orange, right now it looks a bit too much like a toy. Which I know it is, but still... Don't get me wrong, I wish everyone a pleasant hype (and maybe I'll lift along a bit), but I'll just wait and see till the January wave comes out :)

Two stormies and two shadow troopers via bricklink.

I don't really get the hype about the inquisitor. His weapon was cool at first sight, but actually it's really dumb.
