  1. I agree with what has already been said, SK! The walls are unique and eye-catching, as are the details throughout the entire build! The windows are great with the turntable bases held in clips and the sideways grill tiles, the arches around the windows fit well, the round tiles border the roof nicely, the roof shakes are very realistic, the red and black curtains are perfect, the candle looks great, so many great details! Great work, SK!
  2. Nice series, TUB! I really like the Kaliphlin adventurer and the Mitgardian weary traveller.
  3. Great build, BrickCurve! The quarry is excellently built sinking into the ground with SNOT rock on the sides. The grass everywhere adds a nicely realistic appearance to the build. I personally like the use of multiple colors on the outpost. I have seen real towers with similar variation in color where the stones did not all come from the same source.
  4. Nice build, mpoh98! The tree is excellent, as is the landscaping and SNOT rock! I never tire of seeing these simple, cute brick-build goats incorporated into MOCs!
  5. I reiterate what others have said, de Gothia! The columns and arches are nicely built. The position of the spy is a great idea and well executed, though potentially very dangerous if the dwarves find some wood . The ornamentation on the mantle is nicely done, especially the shield hanging flat against the stone!
  6. Wonderful castle, Captain Braunsfeld! The building techniques used may be simpler than some styles, but they give a nice visual appeal! The stained-glass windows give a beautiful lighting effect for the interior photos. I agree with MassEditor that the SNOT technique for sand dunes looks more realistic, but I also think that the rest of the dunes work well at this larger scale. Keep on bringing MOCs to GoH!
  7. Great innovation as usual, Robuko! Using Egyptian influence for dwarves is an interesting idea. The pharaoh statue looks great! The double-sided build is a wonderful idea. The pieces used for the icy side give a very interesting effect. Very nice brick-build ibises as well!
  8. Excellent builds, Kai! The farm is wonderful in its realistic details like the terrain variation, vegetation, stone wall, curved sty fence, the tools and materials laying about, and general activity of the minifigures (especially the rushed position of the messenger)! The border for the MOC is marvelous in its simple color incorporation! As others noted on the court floor, the cracks look great! I like the contrast of the cracked, gray floor to the smooth, red carpet. The court attendants fill out the build nicely.
  9. Nice build, Captain Braunsfeld! I also like the simplicity of the build with an excellent presentation! The photography is great with the black contrasting the lighter colors in the build. The angles add a lot of character to the presentation as well, especially the shot from the viewpoint of a dwarf standing in front of the statue. The build details with the SNOT and cheese slopes are exquisite!
  10. Great builds and hilarious story, mccoyed! I like Bregir's workshop with models and other items! The Dwarfapault is a great idea for a humorous story and is well-built and well-demonstrated! The dwarf crashing through the palisade is an excellent touch. This does indeed make an interesting addition to Mitgardia!
  11. Nice idea and build, mrcp6d! The underwater effect is well done! I also like the way the seaweed and plants are done using interesting techniques for attachment. The dwarves had better be well-blubbered and fast-swimming to survive this excursion! It is surprising that they do not seem to know that ice comes from water... .
  12. Great build, Carson! The rockwork is great, as others have mentioned! I also like the seated scribe. The foliage adds a nice visual splash of color to the gray rock. The ruined shrine is a nice idea and well done.
  13. Excellent build, Infernum! There is not much more that I can add, other than to re-emphasize how superb the rockwork and crumbling tower are! The posing of the minifigs is great as well, especially the dwarf operating the Ballistae and the Drow smashed by the falling rocks. Nicely done, Infernum!
  14. Another great addition to Sionnach, de Gothia! I really like the sand green roof and the courtyard wall! It is nice to see the shop in action with the minifig posing. It is too bad Sionnach cannot all exist at the same time in the brick, but at least you keep bringing great MOCs to expand the story!
  15. Great workshop, Captain Braunsfeld! The different siege engines are very interesting and nicely dwarf-ish! I also like the interior with its workshop appearance, keeping the room simple but still adding nice decorations. The miniature prototype model is a great idea, as is the micro castle model!
  16. Wonderful entry, mrcp6d! The tunnel is excellently done, especially with the framing to prevent collapse! Interesting concept for detecting the dwarves using the drum! My favorite details are the trees with their wonderfully natural appearance! Nice work!
  17. Great to see more added to Thorshaven, kabel! The different styles of houses and shops are marvelous! It is a good thing you live in a town that gives such wonderful inspiration! The activity of the scene and business of the market are very fitting for your growing town. I am looking forward to more!
  18. Great build, de Gothia! As others have mentioned, the simple half-timber design works very well. Great idea to put feathers on the floor! I am looking forward to seeing this fit into the rest of Sionnach!
  19. Nice windmill, LD! I am particularly interested in Medieval windmills and think yours is great! The way you made the blades is nicely realistic. I also like the incorporation of the rotation in the blades and the tower. The SNOT stonework is nicely done, and that angled door is wonderful!
  20. Another great build in your style, Captain Flint! The swamp and inn are nicely done. My favorite detail is the red plant coming out of the swamp water.
  21. Stian Vitr extends a warm welcome to the best Guild to Samuel Marron! On a side note, I finally have most of my LEGO collection moved into my house and again have a building area . More builds to follow soon...
  22. Thanks, SarahJoy! I was going to bury the head in the thatching more so it was not so visible, then I decided that I wanted it to appear obviously in the pictures. I was also struggling with trying methods, as I had to reach around underneath the roof and had nothing stable to push against. This was the first solution that worked satisfactorily after reattaching segments of the roof multiple times . Thanks for the compliment and encouragement, Gideon!
  23. What a nice watermill, Majkel! The stone on the walls, the water, the waterwheel, the rocks, the chimney, the smoke, the ice and snow, all lovely and in great detail! The incorporation of the dirt section covered in snow on top of the rocks makes the border edge more interesting. Inclusion of a lady fighting a dragon underground? Fantastic!
  24. Great build, Disco! The wall and Grond do not seem to be quite large enough for minifigure scale, but both are excellently done! I particularly like the way you did the gate and the incorporation of the sand green pieces representative of what seems in the film to be a copper overlay on the door. The battle is perfectly chaotic, with everyone in action and disrepair on the wall from the battle.
  25. Welcome to Eurobricks, misuPix! Though I personally am almost completely purist, anyone is free to use the LEGO products for whatever he or she wants. Your Link, Zelda, and Epona are nicely done! I am looking forward to more of your community contributions!
