Just not a Clone Wars version, please. She looked horrible in that. Geonosis should be nice. White suits are nice for female minifigs.
-
I was crossing my fingers for an Endor-style Tatooine playset with Cantina, 10 minifigs AND a speeder. No chance for this now that we only get the speeder.
-
Too bad that the more interesting, civilian sets are 3xxx - they are definitely DUPLO. Would have loved to see a tank truck or the plane. Hope that the new tractor will be different from the current ones!

What about talking about the rumor on Jedi News: there'll be no more Indy sets in 2010.

A policy is something you stick to. If TLC acted against this (their own) policy, it is not carved in stone for them. It doesn't exist. The vehicles in the Indy line proved so far that they make modern warfare vehicles. Since the tank was never used by the Nazis, nor in WW2 (unlike the fighter plane), and since the whole setup and context is based on a funny movie that is rated and suited for teens, and not based on reality, there shouldn't be a problem in making a tank. Perhaps we will get one.

Now taking YOUR ideas for the future of LEGO Pirates theme
Zzz replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
- A detailed harbour with civilians - a detailed 16-wide merchant ship, shorter than 6243 - a detailed 6-wide small ship (or all together!) (don't forget the detail please!) :) -
More new products from Shop@Home (2009 later half)

I don't hold it in my hands but I am absolutely sure that TLC is actually not able to produce old colours anymore. Though I wonder why they didn't give it a green one. I thought those ones fit better. But anyway. Oh and notice the Space logo in the right place again! -
But the falcon is the same wave as Endor, Hoth etc. Even the later Home One and Tantive 4 will still have the old school boxes. But not the Falcon. Makes no sense to me. And so it doesn't mean anything for or against Clone BPs in 2010.. (imo)

only these - you could also use the famous Bricklink next time.

LEGO Pirates Tic Tac Toe - includes 10 minifigures!

I really hope you are right. Pirates could need something in the quality of the Castle's Market Village. -
LEGO Pirates Tic Tac Toe - includes 10 minifigures!

Great little set! But now it gets more difficult to chose between this, some BPs and the advent calendar. And I have the feeling that TLC wants to make easy money, what lowers the chances of an exclusive set... -
... or the other way round: Castle will stay fantasy-oriented and the rumored new theme will stay "clean". Or both with fantasy. Prince of Persia is also fantasy, right? What did you hear about the greek? I think it might be rather difficult to make an interesting theme out of this, though. And I would prefer romans for sure.

Oops, you are so right! But we have a bet now, I say Tatooine 2010!
-
"I sense something. A presence I haven't felt since... (turns, walks away)" I am almost sure we will get a EUR100 Tatooine playset next year, a EUR150 Cloud City playset next year or 2011 and a new ANH X-Wing in 2011.

I hate it to be Mr-Smarty-Pants but I also think it is balancing on both, the reflection occurs from the underside of the glass, not from the upside. So there is a small gap, or, seems to be. You know what I mean. Anyway, it is a rather strange landing gear... I hope they also use that many cheese slopes in the finall version. ( I love that piece! ) And not the new 2x1x3/4 slope piece.

They don't belong into Star Wars. I like them in other themes/ mocs / figs though. YES I also like the Exo Force heads!

It sold better in the beginning, the run is long over. If I were TLC, I would continue it with less effort, but I would. The problem is just, today it is almost impossible to earn money on something that you cannot sell like hot cookies. The market is not like in the 80s or even early 90s anymore. This is war out there. A huge variety of themes means a huge variety of costs, and the effect to reduce the losses (and winnings) from specific lines (eg. Speed Racer / Star Wars). Who knows whats in their business plan. And how aggressive / careful they want to act.

exclusives - nothing to get excited about (for me) - but the death star display box is sweet! Tantive 4 - wonderful, amazing etc. (just have to get rid of the small transport or whatever... hate those ugly little thingies) -- (oh and no landing gear.... damn it, I hoped so much for a Republic-Cruiser-like gear. and now I see it is supposed to land balancing on the canon??) 2010 Battlepacks - this is an adult site so I can say? I really don't care if I pay 15 or 25 €. We got a sort of Hoth BP just now, there is no need to give us the same minifigs in a small set next year.. (but adding a pilot is a good idea. If there is also a mechanic, I will shut up, promise!)

A few years ago, I would have said: impossible. Today I am not sure. TLC doesn't act in a pattern, they still surprise us! Nonetheless, in the first 7 years of Star Wars, there was no Space theme. During the Harry Potter theme, there was no castle. And I am sure I read it somewhere that TLC thought they are too similiar. Also Space today tries hard not to be too similiar to SW and capture some of the goofy spirit of early Space themes. I guess the targeting group is a bit different. Anyway, guess it is clear to everyone here that Indy doesn't hold the potential of Star Wars, even if it is a good line. I don't see it continue for longer than next year, but I am sure we will still see new sets in 2010. I don't think so cause of the Prince (who will get only 1 run of sets imho) but of the difficulty to make sets, also I don't see chances for redesigns, UCS, minis, midsize or whatsoever. Some might say there are still endless possibilities, but I guess one have to keep in mind that it is not Star Wars. Did we get everything from the Star Wars movies? No. I think there are chances for another 6 sets, 2 from each of the old movies, but then it is over. SW is a bigger market than Indy. There were only action figures for the first movie from 1980, and not too many. Soundtracks were not available, even the VHS in widescreen were rare at certain points. Only the new movie made these things reappear, and it is not an effect that will last for too long. So I came to the strange conclusion that both will coexist in 2010 and then end. A bit strange though, guess TLC will surprise me with something unforseen...

The Tantive IV looks wonderful, absolutely stunning. The minifigs do it for me, another Leia and 3PO are very welcome! Too bad it doesn't seem to have a landing gear...

Japanese Mini-Figure 35th Anniversary Celebration!

You can get the Clone Pack on amazon for 1,531, what is not even 300 for one guy. Since the "offer" is just a raffle with very bad chances, I would buy some battlepacks on amazon if I were you (and if you really want to have so many clones.) But in your case I would go for Endor (up for 13,230). Don't get seducted by the dark side of the offer, it isn't that great. (Light side has cookies too!) -
Simply wonderful, as usual! It captures this "Adventurers vibe" perfectly! Just one thing though - where can I find bigger images of your creations? They are all rather small.. EDIT: If TLC ever continues the fan-made-sets series (what I doubt) - I just wish they'd ask you!
-
The engines are way smaller but look good so far. (=minor endurance) You are right about the cruiser, think about it if they have the same landing gear!
-
I'd rather have a new roman castle theme than even more fantasy stuff.

"Just a picture of the 10199 (UCS Super Star Destroyer) on the back side." ... what jansued wrote in his Fire Brigade Review about the instruction manual. He didn't post a pic so far. .. and I thought 10199 is this:
