is it that Lego gets afraid of historical themes where men fight against men? I get that feeling somehow... the new castle operates with skeletons, the vikings were fighting against bionicle-monsters, and I bet that IF :'-( there'd be pirates again on one day......... there won't be soldiers to fight against them, not like in the good ol times... I for myself would love to see the return of the adventurers aka orient expedition. It is not a historical theme, but gives a lot of inspiration.. and the sets were be easy to modify into egyptian or chinese things.... hehe... that was fun... ohh.... and pirates.... yep!

emm... no Gungans and no NT for me anyway... but what goes a bit on my nerves is that lego has always only one party of a battle in the stores... no? I remember the AT-AT fighting against no Rebels or Snowspeeders, the new AT-ST fighting against no Ewoks and so forth... we all here have what we wanna have, but it is still a toy and isn't it a bit complicated for kids to wait years to have the original enemy? isn't it a strange approach for a licensed toy company? emm... whatever... :-)

yep this is the hoth base. was the door in Jedi Defense II supposed to represent the whole ship? I am afraid so.. Now I am just afraid of a possible Endor bunker set.... What will it be? Another DOOR???? But one thing: why does everyone say it is so cheap? or it is like an army builder? well, I assume it to be 60

I am sorry, but there were like 110 chances to make hoth in a NICE way. this set totally sucks. I am collecting OT LSW since the very beginning, and as I am a big fan of ESB and Hoth I was all those years hoping for something nice. If I found this on bricklink as an moc I wouldn't even take a closer look at it. TLC made better and better things - AT-AT, the redesigned X-, Y-, B- Wing, Snowspeeder and AT-ST, last year the Sailbarge!! which was masssssiv.. the UCS MF this year!! and now this??? sorry.. no Tauntauns??? no Snow-Luke??? no nice Turret??? no new Rebels??? only 2 Snowies???? no computer room??? not the whatshisname admiral??? no Wampa????? and then 65 EUROS???? sorry......

well there are pictures on amazon.de already - nobody noticed / mentioned it? :-) black Stormies look kinda cool, Darth Maul is the old one... and I have no clue how to copy the pics from the st..id amazon page.. :-( just too bad I am only in OT........

mm... it was an exclusive for unknown reasons... we had this only in the official lego store.. we HAD.. it disappeared several months ago (because some guy bought them all and is selling them now on ebay??) and the clerks there said they will not get it again... :-(
