  1. All of those have illegible numbers when labeling the axises/liftarms even when sitting at my desk, and I usually build on the carpet which is much further away. My download of the 9397B model is 200MB, wish lego would release all their stuff in that resolution.
  2. I finally got the 8297 off roader, but without instructions. I downloaded the instructions from lego (via brickset), but the quality is a bit lacking, are there hi res instructions available anywhere which are comparable to the 9297 B model instructions posted here earlier.
  3. For those in germany, buch.de has the set for 110 (preorder), and also has sent all customers a 10% coupon.
  4. I agree, I would prefer only having the two flagships motorized each year, and the other sets have instructions to add them. I have a pile of battery boxes from sets with a motor.
  5. too bad, I havn't had any luck getting my hands on the 8466. :(
  6. Does the 4x4 use the powerpuller/8466 wheels or smaller ones? Anyone know?
  7. You should be able to use the PF adaptor cable to power it. That would actually let you make a remote controlled monorail.
  8. That would be way to much work, esp for those people who havn't ever used modeling programs.
  9. Still says vassal in that link. Guess if I ever want to make a topic I need to spam more and lurk less :P
  10. Well it probably wont remain in stores long, but I just checked and had preordered it for 140 euros a few months before it was released, so its not that amazing of a deal. Karstadt in my area is selling all the atlantis stuff for 35-50% off, and Kaufhof is doing that for pharaohs quest.
  11. tbh I dont see anything that is cheaper than the same product at amazon.de / amazon.fr (unimog for 127 euro there)
  12. Any suggestions on a good place to stay up to date on deals in germany? I see a thread for the UK here but nothing for germany, and shipping from the UK isn't always worth it.
  13. Only time I got really lucky was when a store which had been sitting on a huge pile of 8265s marked them down to 40 euros, and 8258 for 70 euros. I bought 2 loaders and a truck. Then a couple of weeks later they had a 20% all legos sale and still had a bunch of the 8265 left, so I got another 2 or 3 for 32 euros each. Half went into my parts collection, half are still untouched. I really regret not buying extra 8421s at the same store a year or two earlier, but I couldn't afford to back then. Now the chain has been sold and they dont discount anything anymore :(
  14. I don't mind PF in the flagship, although I wouldn't miss it if it weren't there. What I do not like is the smaller sets also coming with 1 battery box and 1 motor and that driving the costs up, where they are ideal sets to use the seperate PF kit.
  15. New space shuttle, or a mobile crane using the new wheels from the unimog and longer cylinders would be nice. Forklift also sounds cool, but would be surprised if they made a flagship one.
  16. Finally got my unimog, have it half built. Apparently I got an additional bag of pins instead of some panels for the back, so I'll have to get those pieces replaced. Also the steering crossrods seem to be really stiff, I'm going to either remove one of them, or mod it in some way.
  17. I guess if you drive upside down like in australia it works...
  18. The differential in my new supercar also is warped :(
  19. I started building the car, but for some reason some of the axles coming out of the gearbox seem a bit stiff. Probably will end up rebuilding what I have to date, or is this normal?
  20. It would at least prevent people from entering images downloaded from the net
  21. Wasn't that a NXT controlled camara robot?
  22. 4 adventurers ambushed by 4 dragons.
  23. Could you say how much the technic frames you ordered cost @ lego direct, as well as the 4558690 gear?
  24. It replaces a tan pin on step 45, and should then fit into the newly added black part.
