    Hey guys! I present to you my first stop motion; originally, it was posted on YouTube in December of last year, but I decided to post it here to (hopefully) get more viewers. Hope you all enjoy! BTW Part 2 is almost done. Expect it to be out by May..... https://youtu.be/lkseCJU-RSs I know it's not the best, but keep in mind that it is my first. Part 2 is much better with lighting, voice acting, and movements.

    Another Star Wars "fan" who just wants to hate on the new material. WOW, how original! Seriously, would you expect, in-universe, for them to phase out the basic design of an X-Wing, Star Destroyer, or TIE? That's like if we in the real world changed the basic design of a car: it doesn't need to be done. Also, like others said, your opinion is respected....But when you type "BOOOOOOORING", that comes across as just incredibly rude. Anyway, I really want these constraction sets to sell well, simply because I'm hoping they'll release a clone captain--and then I could make one rockin' self-MOC.

    I doubt they're true, but if they are, I do like the sound of Rahi in the next wave, and Toa Ekimu sounds pretty nifty. But of course, the best thing about these rumors is the shiny-metallic platinum shells, because that on a Toa Ekimu brings us one step closer to funmetal Takanuva.

    Eh, the Infiltrator is pretty bad. Too many slopes, undersized.....not worth my time. Working out my budget, I realized that I'll be spending around $1000 (a bit less) for LEGO Star Wars this year: Slave I, Tyderium, Final Duel, and the whole TFA line. Oh, and CCBS Grievous. My wallet is....not ready at all. I'd better start saving.....

    I have a new prediction for the summer: What if Skull Grinder is, in the box art, pulling the MOCR OUT of the forge--maybe he used the Toa's golden masks, melted them, and they fused together and made the MOCR? And then after the Skull army is defeated, Ekimu makes all the Toa new masks to replace the ones that got melted, and they have new powers--like the original 2001 mask powers?!?! ANYWAY, I feel that Skull Grinder should've been given the same design treatment that Grievous got--as in, larger, more complex, and more imposing. That Grievous is absolutely amazing (maybe my favorite CCBS set), and now Grinder looks so dinky.

    OKAY! I won't discuss the trailer in depth (since this isn't the topic for it) but.... I am super excited to see these ships and characters translated into LEGO. The new Star Destroyer, the new TIEs, the new X-Wing.....EVERYTHING! And the Stormtroopers are absolutely amazing. Kylo Ren is definitely an interesting character design--I assume they'll give him a minifig head with the helmet printed on, so that he can wear his hood. And I'm still really interested to see how they do BB-8. And I just want to say that my hope has been solidified--TFA is going to be incredible. I literally cannot wait for December.

    So much tan on Grievous! And also, anyone else notice how he has the same torso as the Skull guys? ANYWAY....That concept art is amazing. I love Onua's for the contrast, and Pohatu's for the desolation. BTW would Grievous count as a Titan-sized set?

    Grievous is a must buy. He looks great (and pretty accurate!) I'm buying two: one to display, and one to tear apart for those amazing tan pieces. Obi-Wan looks terrible though.

    I don't see why they would try to hide the sets for any longer. I mean, they will be on store shelves a few months before the movie comes out anyway, so.....I'm sure that the new trailer will show more ships/characters that the sets will be based on, so it wouldn't spoil much. I'm just getting a bit frustrated that there is nothing to talk about.

    I wouldn't say Ekimu is like Mata Nui, since one of them is a mask maker, and the other is a giant robot with a living universe inside of him. But I do hold out hope that maybe Makuta and Ekimu's father might be named Mata Nui..... Come at me, bro.

    LOSS just wasn't meant to be a villain....He's more of an obstacle, or a minor speed bump on the road to the Ancient City. I can't believe people would expect more from a $15 spider. That being said, I really hope the final battle of 2015 is a bit more "epic"--like, say, if it were Skull Spiders and Skull Army vs. Toa and Protectors. Or, at the very least, a MNOG Makuta-esque fight against Skull Grinder....

    Oh yeah.... Yeah, we got literally no information this past month......But that's the big problem with this thread: we can only talk about the new sets and ONLY the new sets, so discussion is fairly limited.

    I don't know why people (not here, but on other sites) have been comparing the LOSS fight to the MNOG Makuta fight from Gen 1. LOSS is not the main villain; in fact, he's barely even relevant to the story (as far as we know....), so comparing him to the overarching villain of Gen 1 is kind of ridiculous. The LOSS fight is more like Kopaka versus the Muaka from MNOG.....In fact, both of them die after falling off a cliff....

    LEGO isn't being cheap; they're acting like a real TOY COMPANY. They're not going to give a new theme a massive budget, and make all new pieces so that some picky fans can be happy. And you said they are "sacrificing the uniqueness and creativity that the original Bionicle had".......are you joking? First off, their were plenty of pieces in the early sets that were reused from Slizers and Roboriders. Second, what do you even mean that they lack "uniqueness"? Do you mean how all of the Toa have their own personal masks, weapons, colors, and builds, and all of the Protectors each have their own builds, weapons, and colors too? Or do you mean how these look like no Hero Factory set, and these new BIONICLE sets have created their own look? </rant>

    This photo is all kinds of awesome: Tahu is walking around like a surfer, Gali is fishing, Pohatu is building a sand castle.....and Kopaka is in the shade.....just chillin'!!!! Really, I want this to be a canon scene.

    Does anyone else think that maybe the Skull villains and the Skull Spiders will be linked--as in, maybe they are "working together" or part of the same army? I think (or, rather, HOPE) that the Skull Spiders are still relevant to the story, so maybe we will see them work side-by-side in the final battle in the Ancient City? I don't know, I just can't believe that LEGO would introduce Skull Spiders, make them appear in 13 out of 18 sets, and just get rid of them so quickly. If they really are done, and we never see LOSS or the Skull Spiders ever again.......I might just cry.

    Very nice MODs, but I think that Kopaka looks too bland now. I would suggest adding one more color, just to add some contrast. BTW could you post instructions of the Suva please? It looks absolutely incredible!

    I just had a revelation: in the Prophecy of Heroes, we see six different planets, each belonging to a specific element, right? And warriors (the Toa) from each of those planets came to another planet, one where they fight in an "arena" (Okoto)...... BIONICLE 2015 is really THROWBOTS!!!!

    ....Wasted? Why, because we didn't explore every single inch of Okoto yet? Seriously, we have at least three more years on Okoto, so why not save some of the world building for later? The story, right now, does not revolve around the individual regions of Okoto--it's all about the Ancient City right now.
