    Agreed. Hero Factory is too sleek, because their robots, not people. But I disagree with element-oriented pieces: Remember Straak, with the huge ice shoulder pads? Or Vastus with the snakes? It looked awful!! And I realize that I may be in a small minority here, but I am hoping for clone-sets. The Mata all were built basically the same, with only three things different: Color, Weapons, and Masks. And I loved that, because they looked like a team, and like real, organic beings, rather than just specialized robots. *Speaking of beings, do you think that the Great Beings will appear? We were teased, so much at the end! "Oh look, great beings built this, and this, and created us and---oh, that's all we'll tell you." WHAT?!? Are they gods, or people, or spirits?! It could work, continuation or reboot. Maybe even better so as a reboot, because they can play more of a role.

    Either they will postpone the Summer Wave (doubt it), or they will push up the winter 2016 wave. And you know what? Most people probably won't see the movie until very close to 2016. There are tons of fans, ready to buy out every ticket and flood the movie theaters. A December 18 release, coupled with family visiting and huge lines of fans buying out the tickets? Kids will be the last to see this movie, likely in early 2016. Agreed 100%. These movies are the most anticipated, because these will decide the series as a whole. No doubt, if people say that these three are bad, coupled with TPM and AOTC, they will consider the entire series to be ruined. VII will decide the new generation of fans; it will decide if the legacy will live on, or if it will become a simple action movie blockbuster. This will be the biggest release. Ever. For any movie.

    No. The defining factors of the Toa was that they each had their own little power, and working as a team was the only way to defeat the enemy. Gali could go underwater to infiltrate a lair, and Lewa could transport Matoran to places quicker. Remember in Mask of Light, when they used sand, heat, and wind to freeze the Rahkshi in glass? UNITY!! or when the Metru froze Makuta in the Protodermis? They each used their elemental powers. UNITY!! With Inika, and Mistika/Phantoka, they just shot enemies until they died. There was no Unity, no teamwork. It was just Lego saying, "Kids like jetpacks and lasers, lets give the Toa those!" Unity. Duty. Destiny. A major "theme", if you will, of Bionicle. Without one, there are no others.

    Extra wave? Never. Lego only does two waves a year; I could maybe see them doing an early January/late December release, but most likely, Episode VII sets will have to wait until January 2016. I mean, do you think they would do the summer wave, an extra wave, and the winter 2016 wave all in a few months. Absolutely not! It would be sweet though.

    I really don't like the shells, but here is a thought: it makes more sense. Think about it, story-wise: they are living beings, so they need armor for protection. Old Bionicle pieces just looked like robot body parts, but the shells over a skeleton feel for like they are living things!! And, like someone else said, I hate the guns from 2006-on. They went from elemental powers, to lasers and machine guns. And Jetpacks!! Lewa used to be the only one who could fly, Gali the only one who could breathe underwater, but yay modern technology, now we all can!! Also, ^Toa of Gallifrey, we need that on the new Lewa Mask!!

    I agree with what many people are saying: this will likely be a cheap wave for me. The T-16 is definitely on my list, along with the AT-DP, possibly the AAT (though I think it will use a lot of stickers). The T-16 can't be priced more than $50, especially without a bantha, and the AT-DP can only be $60 like this year's AT-AP. This year, I had to by the battlepacks, the wheelbike, the interceptor, the Droid Starfighter, the AT-AP......and the Sandcrawler, the ISD, the Cantina, the AT-AT.....wallet=dead. But even next year's summer wave probably won't interest me; it will be too early for Episode VII sets, so it will likely be 90% Rebels, 10% other. The only thing that could really interest me are the exclusives: Bring on the Slave I, or Cloud City, or Amidala's Episode III Starship!!!!

    Well, you all convinced me, so congratulations. Hulk_Smash: I'm a believer, and now I am super hyped for the future of Lego Star Wars! I read what other people had to say, and your other info about other lines, and I now apologize for doubting you. Sorry. So...when do we think we'll see prelims? I AM DYING TO SEE THEM!!

    As I said, it is more creative, but it lacks a certain style, a certain feel. Bionicle parts felt like more than armor plating; it somehow felt organic, yet robotic, and also had a stylized look. CCBS plates are just flat plates that come in different colors, with no style or feel. Technic was less creative, true, but it looked much better. Individuality was present. And yes, Darth Vader ^. I doubt Lewa will have his smile, but Pohatu and Gali look promising...

    Fair point, and of course the CCBS allows for more creativity, but I miss complexity. It was very fun to slide in pins and axles, connect the little bars to them, and allow the model to move by spinning another axle. Now, it is just: "snap this onto this, and put this here." Plus, CCBS tends to squeak a lot. However, I'll tolerate CCBS as long as Pohatu is brown, Gali has some trans-blue, and all of the masks look nice. Bring back Lewa's smile; I miss it!

    Still, though....I don't want to sound mean and say he is lying, but could it be that he may be stretching the truth, or just trying to predict what they'll do? As soon as I heard they were releasing a new T-16, my mind immediately went to "Tusken Raider". And for the TIE Advanced, I immediately said "Inquisitor", just like he did. I am not saying this is wrong; it is very likely. But I just want rock-solid facts to rest my final thoughts on.

    No offense, Hulk_Smash, but I do not fully believe you. I have noticed several inconsistencies in your stories, like when you said that you didn't see all of the microfighters minifigs, but then stated that you knew exactly who came with what. You also changed from saying that no one was visible for the TIE Advanced, but then stated that there was someone else, likely the Inquisitor, outside the cockpit. Maybe you are right, maybe not. But as far as I'm concerned, nothing can convince me other than prelims. Assuming you are right, though....YAY TUSKENS!!! But, at the same time, NOOOOOOOOO! Rebel Stormies! They are not McQuarrie enough, nor are they classic enough.

    Hi guys; I'm new here. For the conversation at hand, I think that Bionicle will not be revealed until December, and will be released around January. I doubt we will see any prelims or the like at all; it has happened before. And I just hope that Bionicle will revert back to the technic elements; Hero Factory started out with technic, and switched to CCBS, so maybe Bionicle Reborn will start with CCBS and switch to technic. There are three things that this new line must have to keep me happy with the decision to bring it back: 1) The elements, not guns, used as weapons. 2) The Great Beings. 3) The Three Virtues. If Bionicle Reborn doesn't incorporate those three things, than Lego lost my interest. Then it is just Hero Factory, but with better colors.
