  1. ......Were these your only copies of the sets? As in, you don't have any other Toa on a display or anything?!
  2. The Shadow troops aren't from the Force Unleashed. The guards are, but the regular soldiers we got in the set are different than those that appear in TFU: In the game, they were all black, but these guys have a sort of damaged/chipped paint look to them. Plus, the minifig version is gunmetal, not black:
  3. .....How is that a legitimate character trait? Saying that he's a maniac is not a reason for being evil. Okay, those two had fairly decent back stories. ( But none of those traits had any explanation as to WHY. And really, "dumb muscle" and "speed-obsessed" are not reasons to be evil..... Okay, his story was pretty decent. In the end, though, the characters (for the most part) are pretty boring: mostly, the villains were mindless beasts, insane, or just criminals. None of them had any real significance to the story; none of them had unique histories. Of course, there are exceptions, but still.......Even when we got the Bohrok (who, arguably, did get a decent backstory) or the Rahkshi, there was still Makuta as the main villain, who was given quite an interesting history.....
  4. I doubt he'll play some massive role, but I hope he's at least given some depth. The biggest thing that made me hate HF was the fact that the villains had no characterization, and they were just described as being "evil". I'm not expecting him to have a complex back-story, but just something more than what we got for HF villains. I imagine Chris Pratt for Lewa. Period. End of story. It is not debatable. As for the others.......Well, I haven't given thought to any of the other Toa.
  5. Hey, did anyone else notice that in Episode 6, there is a light glowing from inside the forge? So I assume that Skull Grinder is in there, but why? I'm really curious to see what his role in the story is......
  6. Even if I were a collector back in '07, I'm not sure I would've been able to drop $500 (more than half my annual LEGO budget) on a single set. I've bought expensive sets before in the $200-$300 range (Sandcrawler, Ewok Village, etc.), but those only take up about 30% of my budget. If a Falcon came out this year, there is no way I would've been able to get it. Between TFA sets, Tyderium, Slave I, etc., I'm already exceeding my usual budget, and spending an additional $500? No...... If LEGO does decide to release a new Falcon, one of two things would need to happen: 1) It drops in price (but this would sacrifice piece count) 2) It would need to be released in a boring year, where I don't spend much on any other sets. Or, they could just leave it on shelves for more than a year......
  7. No, you're not alone; I agree with you. But I don't feel like carrying on this pointless conversation, and I'm hoping that if I ignore it, it will just go away.
  8. Well, LEGO doesn't really care if some fans want to feel special. LEGO makes no money from the UCS Falcon selling on Ebay, so from their perspective, releasing a new one would make complete sense. And for newer fans who couldn't get the Falcon back then (like me), a new release would be an easy way for us to get one. Saying that you paid a lot for yours, and so LEGO should not release another version is an incredibly ridiculous thing to say.
  9. Boring set + Boring Minifigs + From TPM = Skip. Well, I just saved some extra money!
  10. I'd say one of the best years for LEGO Star Wars was 2013. Most of the sets were either brand new, or remakes that were desired (or, at the least, welcomed): Republic Gunship, AT-TE, A-Wing, Rancor Pit, etc....There were very few sets that were just lazy rehashes, or sets we were tired of seeing. Honestly, I hope that we don't see any PT or OT sets next year; For 2016, I just want all Rebels and TFA. I need a break from Naboo Starfighters, and Jedi Interceptors, and Sith Infiltrators..... Agreed. It would sell like crazy, since it is one of the few important ships that has never been done. And it's not like the pieces would be made of REAL silver, so....
  11. Oh man, I completely forgot about Battlefront 3! Although I doubt that they'll make sets specifically based off of it, it is possible......and if they did, it would be amazing.
  12. I don't know.....Nothing about Okoto feels natural. Sure, each region is separated by mountains, and that might account for some drastic climate differences, but still.....And also, the mountains are completely bare. For example: from the Desert to Ice region, the mountain range that separates them has no sand, or snow, or anything on it--they're just grey rocks....... It could just be that they wanted kids to clearly see where each region is. Or, it could be something more. Personally, I hope for the "something more".
  13. .....But I wasn't collecting back then. And I mean the Imperial version (grey and blue). What we got was the IFT-X.
  14. I'm really excited for the Season 2 sets because I think we'll get more of a variety of military vehicles. Between the rebel alliance and the Empire, we've only gotten the famous vehicles: X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Y-Wing, etc. So maybe now, we'll get some more obscure ships (IFT-T and ACC-1 please!)
  15. On the quiz, I got.....Pohatu?! Ah man, I thought I was more like Lewa......Can I do quiz corrections? Also, wacky theory time: What if the Skull guys are from another island? I doubt that Okoto would be the only island on the entire planet, so it's possible that they were foreigners who wanted to conquer Okoto. Then, they were all defeated, and they were just left to rot in the Ancient City. Now, after being re-awakened, they are seeking the MOCR in order to restore their bodies and conquer the island? And this is something that's been bugging me for a long, long time: Okoto does not look.....natural. It's divided into six VERY distinct regions, so is it possible that the island was man-made? Or was it just something that LEGO did in order to make it easier for kids to understand?
  16. .....A Stormtrooper transport was never confirmed......
  17. And yeah, we're lucky BIONICLE itself is back, so I guess I can't complain. I'd take Omega Tahu over another Furno any time.
  18. Oh yeah, I doubt the legitimacy of these rumors too, but......speculation=fun. Let's see here: Two wave of villains, back to back. In terms of story, it could add some sort of reason for the Toa to change forms: A new threat is spreading across the island, and after the Toa's current forms prove incapable of defeating the evil-ness, they get "upgraded".....you know what, that sounds a lot like Hero Factory.... Really, I hope we don't see any more versions of the Toa (or, at least, not until the final battle) since I know the "transformation" will be handled lazily. "Oh, the Toa fell into a pit of liquid, or--no, they get kidnapped by spiders and are then mutated, or--they get struck by lightning!"
  19. At first, I was against having only one narrator, but I actually like it now. I like the theory that the story has already happened, and this is some character (*cough* baby Protector) who is telling the story to a new generation. My only complaint for this episode was that the narrator didn't do his normal voice for Tahu. But I still love the narrator himself. (In a non-creepy way. :P) I have no clue what to make of that, other than this: "Shiny platinum metal color"? "Toa version of Ekimu"?!? #FunmetalTakanuva2016 is real!!!!!!
  20. What was up with Tahu's voice in Episode 6? He just sounded weird, almost like the narrator was mixing Pohatu and Tahu's voice. Eh, maybe he sounds different because he's not screaming something about "fire", or "power"......
  21. I just don't like the Inquisitor minifig. The color of the face is wrong (it should be grey, not white), the face print is....weird, and he has that single, angry expression (which he rarely had. Most of the time, he had either a calm face, or an evil smile). Remember, it's just my opinion. BTW how long until we can stop using spoiler text?
  22. Yeah....Unless, like you said, it's all about Tahu and POF. But, since I *hope* they'll center around all six Toa, I can't see them saying "The Protector of ______" every single time they mention a protector. Also, I got Gali (and a Hero pack!) today, and I must say that she might be my favorite of the Toa. And also, I don't know how, but in some weird, robot way, she looks feminine. ALSO: Would you guys suggest opening the Hero Pack, or leaving it sealed? I only have one at the moment, and I doubt my ability to get a second, so.......?
  23. Well, here's the full reason: I hated the Inquisitor minifig, and I was only going to buy him because
