  1. You forgot lame, slapstick humor and cliche dialogue! But really, a movie would be absolutely great. The old BIONICLE films (except TLR, I ignore that one) weren't too childish and stupid. They had a good amount of "Hey, buy our products!", but also a healthy serving of story and character building. But again, it all depends on sales. For all we know, Gen. 2 is bombing right now, and no kids are even interested in them.....Is there a way to, like, "check up" on LEGO's sales? Because I don't think I can handle BIONICLE ending again so soon.....
  2. I chose Mask of Ice! Man, if they made that mask in green.... Also, just wanted to ask two things: What do you think the odds are of BIONICLE getting a movie? I mean, they made The LEGO Movie, their making the Batman and Ninjago one, so I would really hope that BIONICLE gets the same treatment.....But, I guess it all depends on how sales are going.
  3. All I'm saying is that he has no oxygen in his coffin, he was described as "lifeless" (so I assume he has no heartbeat or anything), and he hasn't eaten or had anything to drink for 1000 years. This guy is dead. But the Toa could just bring him back with Red Star, right?
  4. But in real life, people get buried in coffins, yet they still decompose over time. Sealing Ekimu in a box really wouldn't do much to preserve the body.
  5. Thanks for the info! $20 is a ridiculous price, but he'll cost just as much on Ebay, so.....
  6. Wait a second: the Skull guys are decomposed, right? So it's proven that the characters CAN rot......Shouldn't Ekimu be decomposed? I mean, he's been dead for 1000+ years, and he wasn't mummified or anything, so...... Can't wait to see the episode where they wake him up, and he's all rusted and disgusting; scraps of metal are peeling off of him, his intestines are falling out. Also, can we all just stop arguing about things that don't matter? There's been a three-page argument already, and it's getting old.
  7. How much will that book cost?!? Also, when will it be released? I NEED Proto-Fett!!!
  8. But they don't necessarily LOOK like zombies/skeletons. The "Chima ice villains" look pretty normal to me....The Skull gang/army/whatever is made specifically to look like undead warriors. Anyway, I have a theory: Since Skull Slicer has a Skull Spider as his mask, the Skull Spiders must be around still, and I assume that one of them possessed Skull Slicer. So maybe the mask that was missing on the pedestal (the one Pohatu was looking at) is actually the golden Skull Spider mask, and the Skull army stole it and they now have control of the Skull Spiders?
  9. I meant for LEGO Constraction, not "never been done" in the history of the world.
  10. I just noticed something: look at this image: All of the clouds and planets are angled towards the beam of light, almost like the beam is physically pushing the clouds away. Could this mean anything, or.....?
  11. LEGO is mixing up their designs, going for something that has never been done before: skeletal, undead warriors. Each set has a unique build, *decent* color schemes, great mask molds that actually look like skulls, and unique functions (Scorpion has a snap-tail, Basher hugs people, etc.) What more could you want? People complained back in 2009 that every build was just the same, generic Inika build. Now, each set has so much diversity, and we still complain.
  12. Ugh....parents nowadays are way too overprotective and sheltering. "Oh no, there are shadows and glowing eyes! And rock music?! What is this, some hoodlum channel?!" You know what I said when I saw the Inika commercial? "Cool!" And I'm pretty sure that was most people's responses. Parents are afraid of everything. They think that if their kid sees and Inika commercial, he'll become a devil worshiper who likes to skin animals and throw them in lemon juice. Imagine the parent's responses if they played .....they may have had a heart attack!
  13. Man, Final Duel looks like it's falling apart! Stairs explode, catwalk collapses, minifigs are launched to their death.....
  14. I'm really liking the vibe of these chest prints, except for Slicer. That weird circle, hole...thing...looks terrible. I don't even know what it's supposed to represent. The full story went like this: Long ago, when we knew nothing about the summer wave, someone on this discussion said that it would be cool to bring back Takanuva in a gunmetal color scheme. However, he accidentally typed "funmetal" instead of gunmetal. Since then, it has become a joke, and the most recent usage was to describe the shiny/multicolored Toa masks coming out in the summer.
  15. Most of Warrior's pieces are in the bow and the stud-ammo, so the 102 piece count isn't a mistake. If you count all his pieces, he does have 102.
  16. I really can't believe that LEGO decided to give Sabine a red helmet. Because you know, boys wouldn't buy the set if the helmet was PINK. I've also just realized that I may not need to buy every TFA set. If the MF is similar to the last version, and the TIE would be the basic TIE like we got in 2012, then I may be able to save quite a bit. Of course, I'll miss out on some minifigs, but I'll be shocked if we don't get a follow-up 2016 wave, which would most likely give us the important characters for cheap.
  17. Wait a minute: the IAC is $130? Forget it, then. I thought it was $90, which was still pushing it, but $130 is way too much. Sorry, Sabine. Hopefully your helmet is released next year. So far, it looks like I'll be spending $200 for the winter and summer wave.....plus the $500 for the TFA sets.
  18. Nothing new, but at least we see the sets from different angles. Basher still looks incredible, Scorpion still looks pretty great, Grinder is still deliciously evil-looking, Warrior actually looks a bit worse (head looks too big), and Slicer is still a naked mess. But there is one thing that still bothers me: What is up with Ekimu's Protector mask?! It looks green--sickly, disgusting green. It's okay, though, since he'll always be wearing the MOCR (which I still want to see a picture of him wearing it!!)
  19. My thoughts: 1) TIE is pretty much as expected. Sure, it looks nice, but it's really nothing all that special. I'll skip this one. 2) Final Duel looks great, and Vader is just incredible! The scars, the helmet..... And the face is spot on. Luke and Palpatine look pretty good too. A definite purchase! 3) Flash Speeder looks fine, but the price is hard to swallow. I might pick it up for the Naboo officer and guard, though. (And all that green!) 4) Tyderium looks INCREDIBLE! It's bigger than I thought, and every detail is spot on! The rebels looks great, Leia looks great (especially that face!). Definite purchase. 5) Imperial Assualt Carrier is.....meh. The ship itself looks decent at best, but the mini TIEs, clear-dome astromech look pretty nice......AND SABINE! While I am disappointed in the color choice (more of a red helmet instead of pink), it still looks great. But if her helmet is in a set next year, I'll skip this one. 6) Naboo Starfighter is pretty average. I never picked up any previous version, so I *might* get this. 7) Advent Calender is like any other one: full of rare minifigs that I need more of. I mean, really: Jawa, Stormtrooper (OT), Ewok.....I need them! 8)And so we finally see the constraction sets: just as terrible as I figured. I won't even consider these as a purchase.
  20. 1) I agree. Right now, people complain that there's nothing to talk about--then think of something to say! 2) Flying Tahu is hilarious! He needs to have his own meme..... 3) On the website you linked, "Master of Fire" translates to "Fire Lord".....Well, we know who Tahu really is now!
  21. 'Twas the night before Toy Fair, and all through the thread, Not a picture had leaked, and it had gone dead. But really, the wait is unbearable. I really need to see that Endor Han and Sabine! And Tyderium.....And everything.
  22. <sarcasm> What do you mean? This is the epitome of creativity. </sarcasm> But anyway, I do remember hearing something about them planning it since 2012 (or 2013?). Which is really sweet, since it shows that really put effort into the reboot.
  23. WAIT--Are the TFA sets going to be shown at Toy Fair?!?!
  24. Hey, I just realized: Was there ever an official statement made by LEGO that Hero Factory was cancelled?
